Alex watched as the Dean finished speaking and left, dismissing them but warning them not to blab to the other students. Of course some additional conversations broke out, and he stood up, stretching, appearing like he didn't consider anything out of the ordinary happened, although his thought process was running fairly rapidly still, to put it mildly. He could already imagine the various folks here running along different mind sets, including the enthusiastic gal who was probably aiming for the next Grim Reaper, alongside the guy who got his rear beaten on pretty good. He wouldn't presume to put thoughts into people's heads though, he'd figure it out as it came, if needed.

Turning to walk out, Alex listened to the commentary. The Ramon fellow didn't seem too bothered by getting bested, and he did make a valid point. There wasn't any way the others probably would have done any better, so even more so it was better he didn't get hauled up onto the stage to get an example made out of him. He didn't stand like most trained fighters did, but he did keep on his toes just in case regardless. He had thought he could give most folks a run for their money, but this was to a whole new level he would have to work with. Shaking those thoughts from his head, they would wait for later, he paused and commented towards this girl who looked unusually tired for having only watched a fight. Granted, it was a supernatural fight, but still, and commented, a smirk appearing on his face as he did so. "So, jet lagged, or did watching the fight be that tiring? Hell, this has been one weird day all around, couldn't blame you for being tired already..."
Greetings to one and all! My name is Eisenhorn, although Eisen or other shortened nicknames are welcome.

Just a few tidbits about myself:
-20 Year old male
-Actively serving in the US Navy (I currently can usually be on daily, being at a training command, so no worries there)
-Avid gamer. Gaming helped get me into roleplay (Specifically Warcraft 3 and classic Starcraft's RP maps), but I play/have played far more games than would be practical to list!

With such pleasantries aside, allow me to continue in proper. I've been out of the roleplay community for a few months now (Navy Basic Training took my time, if one would be curious, but I can't complain in that regard!) and I have been getting back into all the fun to be had. As such, I would be looking for a long term partner (Female would be preferred if romance would be involved in said Roleplays) that would be interested in any of the ideas I'll be tossing out below. Yea, not the most specific yet, but do bear with me, just covering some basics real quick. I don't pretend to be flawless with grammar, or spelling, so all I usually ask is that the effort is made. When it comes to actual content, I'm open with all sorts of content, whether its sheer bloody violence, a more thinking adventure approach, and all sorts of stuff that doesn't need to get listed off. I do prefer Casual or upwards when it comes to level, although in reality I work with what I'm given (Unless its an exposition dump, wall of text, or I don't realize how much I actually am typing again) so take that for what you will. My own characters will vary greatly on setting and mindset at the time, one reason why I won't dictate what I would like to see out of a partnered lead, part of the fun (in my mind) is seeing how two different unknowns can lead to impressive and amazing developments. If you've stuck with my ramblings this far, awesome!

I'll knock off the rambling and, like I said, throw up some ideas that are immediately bouncing in my head, plus a few extras. Fair warning, they are general blanket ideas to be refined and an actual plot and story built from, rather than just throwing up preset stories to paste a character into. I enjoy building worlds and stories, even if the latter stories are set in already established universes! I'll organize these into a few broad headers, with more details within each. Oh, and I almost exclusively work with OC's, mostly because I don't usually feel I would do the in universe characters the justice they deserve to be portrayed well.

-Science Fiction: This one is massive, I love science fiction to no end. Whether its a video game (Mass Effect and Starcraft, personally fond of both), a TV or book series, or just a self made universe, my first forum roleplay was Star Wars, so my experience with Science Fiction is fairly large. I've been itching for some Warhammer 40,000 based stuff, but any ideas would be perfectly fine!

-Fantasy: Well, this one is fairly self explanatory and runs along the same vein as Sci Fi. Games, books, homebrew realms, it is all fine with me. And it doesn't have to be straight fantasy, it can be one of the sub types (High, dark, modern, so on and so forth). I'll lump the various -punks down here as well (As in steampunk, for a prime example).

Beyond those two big ones, I'll consider just about anything. Modern, Anime stuff, my memory is all sorts of random so feel free to ask about any thoughts you might have, I just listed the stuff sitting at the front of my brain right now!

Well, I probably rambled on and on enough as it is. Those of you that happen to read this entire thing, thank you for taking the time to read it, even if you decide you don't have any interest. Its all fairly vague, but like I probably mentioned, coming off a period of dead time (From a writing perspective) can have that effect! If I've gotten your interest, feel free to fire off a PM and I will get back to you as quickly as I can! Do have a wonderful day, folks.
Well, it'll make for interesting shenanigans, that's for sure.
Alex had been in more than his fair share of scrapes, but this was leagues above anything he had gotten involved in. Multi level martial arts master, it looked like, the latest in Grim Reaper lineage, black power tentacles, and a great big bloody scythe still resonated clearly that this was beyond his skill, right now. But if he was indeed one of these Reaper types, and he had made it this far without completely flipping his lid, he would make it the rest of the way. Sure, he wasn't as good a fighter as this Ramon guy, nor was he as smart or cunning as some of the others in here, but he figured that he was here for a reason. After so many raw deals, potential lives run from, others ruined and he still was breathing, hell, thriving, this wouldn't be able to stop him.

Violence wasn't going to get him anywhere though, he wasn't outfighting this lot, he could see that. Not through being purely stronger, or faster, or smarter. He would have to work at rounding himself out rather than excelling purely in one thing, best them where they didn't shine. Besides, that would save him from becoming crippled by specializing in something. But he doubted going it solo would work too well, despite his previous life experiences, and others seemed to be thinking that, talking amongst themselves while one crazy chick flat out asked where they signed. Crazy, but this was too, so it fit. The running girl might not be wrong to do so, but he couldn't rightly walk away at this point, commenting out loud, voicing his opinion on the matter at hand. "This is insane, sure, but I suppose sane decisions never got me this far..."
Well, if that is the case, then introductions are in order. Alexander Westfield, Master of Ordinance, reporting. I stand, humbly, at your service.
That was clever, sure as sure. And I deserved to read every line of that, thank you for ruining/making my evening. Haven't decided which of those to choose yet.
This certainly looks interesting, I would most definitely be in on this (Aiming to gain the role as a gunnery officer, most likely).
It would be memorable, sure as sure. And greetings to you, greetings indeed.

I hope no ones demise, not yet, but it would liven things up, sure as sure.
Oh my, flying monkeys, this is simply a terrible fate to behold. Now while they are distracted makes the real chance to run.
Sweet, Innistrad will be fun, Soldiers and Clerics, here I come!
