Arus sighed in relief as the Risen hordes were decimated and the dark creature on the hill turned away. It seemed they had won. But looking around him it seemed like there was no victory here, it looked more like one more day of avoiding the inevitable. He looked around for the holy knight to give him his thanks, but surprisingly was unable to find him. After a few moments of searching he overheard a soilder say that they now answered to Vernire rather than Holliander. Arus turned back jumping on his horse and riding outside the gate angrily. Those risen scum shouldn't have been able to kill him even with that evil creature on the hill and he wouldn't have gotten caught up in the lava explosion. Surely, surely he was just wounded and had been left behind. Arus didn't know why he felt such an attachment to the holy knight, after all they had only just met and death wasn't new to Arus. At least something of the holy knight must remain right? At least that's what Arus thought as he attempted to ride back outside and search for any trace of the knight.

Hadaron made his way into town without much further trouble, though he nearly ran over a rat pokemon on his way. He looked around at Dune town. The route after this required plenty of water and it was the first town with a Gym. He decided that first thing in the morning he would challenge the gym, though he was unsure of challenging it with only one pokemon. Well it wasn't like he couldn't challenge the gym more than once, they let you challenge as many times as you wanted so he if failed oh well. It just meant he had some more training to do with Ralts. He rented a hotel room and went to bed eagerly thinking of the battle ahead. Ralts couldn't have learned Magical Leaf at a more opportune moment. Tomorrow he would try to earn his first badge.

Moros caught up to Cecile breathing lightly, he was reasonably in shape since he tended to bike everywhere rather than drive. He voiced his protests as soon as he arrived beside her, "You know this is kind of ridiculous, do you really think you can find someone by wandering around? For all we know that student could've just like, ditched school. Now we're just making things worse by wandering around and adding more missing students, this seems like we won't find anything so we should probably head back." Moros said cheerily hoping to dissuade Cecile from continuing. This really didn't seem like a good plan, even if there was someone missing how would they hope to find them somewhere in the whole city?
