I'm not victim blaming but all generalizations are false, even this one.

Nothing's happened for more than four days. I can barely move. I can see the light slowly leaving. The darkness encroaches. The great one is longer here to hold it back. I fear we can't hold on much longer. Is this what... cold feels like...?

Meruis nodded, "Feel free to move in Velstar, I'll cover you." He said as he made his way over. He also materialized a spear of ice into existence next to himself as he moved. Best to have at least one spell prepared just in case. Enemies were supposed to be everywhere in this rumble deal. Anyone not from his faction he was supposed to attack on sight. He wondered why exactly they needed to watch the student council but didn't question it too much. He was confident in the abilities of his superiors, and this should be a good chance to test out his skills.
Alexander spoke up somewhat annoyed by the guard even if he was only doing his job. "Yes, we're training under Joshua." he said hoping the distinctive name would catch the guard's attention. "We were told to meet him at Coalstrike as well as to talk to Harold the Blacksmith, now may we please enter?" He asked polity
Hadaron took a step back and yelled, "Don't stop, keep your focus." Though he couldn't see it Ralts nodded in confirmation and held its pose. Though it may seem like Ralts was at a disadvantage now, the only thing that had changed was its ability to move, and it had never planned on dodging in the first place. The green blades floated in the air around him menacingly, as soon as Sandile struck, Ralts would retaliate. It was the only way Hadaron could see winning, he wondered how Garret would react now. Did he have any other choice then to engage Ralts in a battle of fortitude?@AbysmalDemon
Arus looked at the place perplexed. What was a small church like this doing out here? It was clearly maintained by someone given that it wasn't in total disorder. More importantly, what was Holliander doing here? Arus dismounted and tied his horse next to the chocobo and cautiously moved towards the church. The ominous feeling that he had felt in the forest seemed to melt away here, but it still wasn't enough to complete relax him. He pushed open the door and slowly stepped inside, "Holliander?!" Arus shouted awaiting a response.
Kosdar sighed, his brothers were so petty at times. "So presumptious the lot of you." The statment was aimed at both his brothers at Bessie, as he lazily got up and made his way to the closest desk. "Never bothered with hum- English reading and writing, though I suppose you'll try to teach me." Kosdar asked knowing the answer. Neither of them had a choice in the matter, now Kosdar didn't know much about teaching but these circumstances seemed rather... ineffective for learning. "I have some basic understandings of math, don't know anything about sciences, I don't care about history and I only vaguely know what a computer is. No idea what iron has to do with clothes. Don't know what those are and I've never wasted me time cooking. Anything else inquisitor?" He hoped that other girl would get here, the prettier one that had make the snarky comment.

Hadaron looked at the battle worriedly, this was no good, if he couldn't land an attack on that Sandile than it would be impossible for him to win. The only way way he could see getting anything out of this would be... Hm, if he was right then it should work as long as Sandile didn't pull anything else unexpected. With this strategy he should be able to at least tie with his opponent. "Ralts, use Magical lLeaf, but wait until it attacks, then strike it at the same time. It either can't attack or can't dodge, you just need to be tough enough to outlast him." Hadaron disliked having to share his plan with the enemy but in this case he had no other options.

If Garret decided that it would go to a war of attrition then he could only hope that Ralts had enough training to suceed. Ralts nodded and focused intently, creating the magical disks once more but this time they hovered around Ralts, waiting for his mental command. It watched the Sandile from with its hidden eyes, relying more on sensing where it was with his powers then seeing it with his eyes. Of course if the experienced gym leader commited to such a tatic it was a sign that Garret thought he would win, but Hadaron trusted that Ralts would preform to the best of his ability.
I'll save it for later then.
If we go a day or so longer, though i'm sure GM will post by then, I'll poke my head around some random club for some reason.
