I'm not victim blaming but all generalizations are false, even this one.

Gravios shook his head at Dana's declaration of independence. Honestly any of the other sins would've been better off on their own. Oh well, he doubted the girl would listen to him, no respect for the elderly these days. Still he called out, "Be careful." to her as she left to conduct her own investigation. "Good job kid, lets go follow those footprints." he said cheerily as he slowly followed after Grod.
That bad huh? :<
Dorisma sighed, well they'd gotten nowhere so far so it seemed asking around was unavoidable at this time. She'd been about to look for a target to ask when Trey showed and imparted to them some valuable information. Personally Dorisma thought that she could take a dragon by herself and with Miles it would be easy, but better safe than sorry. "Good plan, will do." She said as way of response and re-evaluated who to ask. Perhaps a black dragon, however if they stuck to the good old honor amongst thieves doing so would be pointless.

She might ask a white dragon as they were more likely to notice a white egg, but by that logic any thieving blacks would most likely avoid whites. Then it seemed best to ask any of the other spectrum of dragons idling around. Finally given her shaky use of common, it would likely be best if Miles talked instead of her. Besides they would probably like it better if a drake asked questions than an ogre. "Time to ask, not black or white dragon." Dorisma said to Miles as she crossed her arms and waited, hopefully making her intent clear. He seemed smart, he would figure out a good way to go about it.

Megan Claravet

Megan turned her head slightly, archive? Did he have a library or something? "Archive them where exactly and why?" she asked curiously. Perhaps he was one of those who liked to have cards simply to have them. She still didn't know his name yet, which made this really awkward because she would either have to ask him his name or simply continue conversation without referring to him as anything other than 'you'. Frankly she was surprised at how few other students were here. Megan would've thought that after such a rude wake up call that the first thing on most peoples' minds would've been breakfast.
Late response but verily
Alexander gave a sigh of relief as they finally arrived at the hideout and the bewildering fumes lost their effect. He lay on the couch and checked his wound. Luckily from what he could tell it wasn't anything major, it would probably heal in a couple of days. The unknown hunter's parting warning gave him some concern, apparently this Nawar wasn't just some random scoundrel. Alexander looked at Sapphire's cloak, now matted with blood regretfully. He pulled out his coin purse and emptied out enough to pay for it. Unfortunately he didn't have much of a nest egg so that was most of his money, oh well, he probably wouldn't need it. "Sapphire, I hope you stay with us. Even if you don't please take this to make up for your cloak, I'm sorry I ruined it." Alexander said hopefully. It was bad enough to lose one member but losing two would be insult to injury. Of course if Sapphire wanted to leave he was neither in the condition to or would stop her. Then again she wasn't looking so good since they'd made their way away from the fire. Alexander was glad Imgor seemed to know how to cook, Alexander could make meals but they were more eatible the delectable.
*tries to think of something clever to post*.... "Hamburgers?"
Gravios shook his head at Kallen's eagerness. No need to be hasty and if one of them headed out on their own they might get into trouble. Oh well, the young lived to learn. He simply shrugged when headstrong Grod stepped next to him, clearly intending for the pair of them to search. "Alright laddie," he said cheerily and began searching for clues in the opposite direction of Kallen, "let's go looking, keep those young eyes of yours roving." He wondered what the scarecrows were for, usually they were put up to scare of demons or birds. It looked like in this case it had scared off all the villagers. Gravios hoped they were all right but he doubted it with the syndicalism of age.
