Bristle resisted a sigh, they had more magic practice? Just thinking about it was getting him tired, still at least he'd confirmed that they got food. He wasn't quite sure with the spartan like ways their master had shown so far. Bristle winced a little at the last pointed statement, if words were real he'd be bleeding right now. He would've tried to look at his magic again but figured that he'd better wait until magic practice. And there was no way the master wouldn't notice so there was no point in trying to sneakily do it. No stupid questions was a phrase that had always amused him, as Alex seemed to be hitting every one of them reliably. Still, it was better than not asking. Kinda. It wasn't that Bristle didn't to talk, it was just he didn't have anything to say.

Alexander nodded, it seemed Joshua had thought things out well ahead. He liked the thought of getting wyvern scales, it'd be effective amour but still light. Rather appealing. By the time he was able to raise his agreement Joshua had already run off. "Well, I guess we go the gates, c'mon buddy." Alexander said, the last part of his statement directed at Larion and he began lightly jogging towards the town gate. At least he hoped he was going to the right gate, he didn't actually know how many gates this place had as he'd only left by one or maybe two. Bloodleaves hm. It sounded dangerous and Alex was pretty sure he'd heard of it before. From what he remembered saying that it wasn't a nice place was an understatement, what would being stationed there be like?

Alex growled roughly to Leon, "At least if I scare them off the restaurant won't be sued for your... habits." he said scornfully before grabbing the muffin tray with a sigh, holding it in his good hand, and taking it out there. He competently skated to the women's table and recited with a half groan, "As per Wi-Hi café policies, valued customers who spill their initial drinks within the establishment will be given a complimentary blueberry, whole wheat muffin. Look I'm sorry if I was a little rude, anything else I can get you?" he asked, the last portion of his speech leaning towards politeness. He glanced to the side as even more people came in. Today? Really? God it was hot. Alex was suddenly sweating and his thin shirt was quickly getting damp, sticking to and revealing his well developed chest muscles. And he'd just seen three other things that weren't computing very well. And his morning had been going so well. What's more Alex had a feeling his day wasn't going to get any better.

Artemis quietly surveyed the various events of the cafe with her chilly friend. "I wouldn't having a a drinking buddy in the morning, I'm Artemis by the way." So much happening. The goth girl was emitting even more heat, a strange flickering man had walked through the door, someone had briefly given off the appearance of having a massive shield. Shyvana or perhaps Brand. Ekko or maybe Zilean. Braum although possibly Leona. The connections were there, though why was something of a mystery. Finally her attention returning to the shivering girl next to her. Suddenly cold. So cold. Anivia? Lissandra? Cyrocore Brand? "Oh no, of course I'll help." Artemis said quickly supporting her new found friend to the restroom. Perhaps the heat girl was getting to her. So many things to consider, thoughts raced through her mind as she tried to analyze everything going on at once.

Fireworks were up next to awe them into submission.

Arus's face didn't display the surprise he felt at the whispered words. He merely nodded in for reply, then turned to survey the troops that were left. Far fewer than he would've liked and not even that many he recognized. He'd just started moving to pack up his tent when the camp crier spoke, well, cried out. Arus was once again surprised, they were given a day off? They were fighting a war! They couldn't just, take a day off. Ugh, there must be some bigger reason behind this. Regardless he now was to figure what to do for a day. Arus had already gotten plenty of sleep, he had no desire for more. He'd checked his equipment already and food and been prepared. With not much left to day Arus simply decided he would patrol camp, it wouldn't do for an attack to occur while they were resting and he wasn't sure that anyone else would take the duty upon themselves.
