My main nitpick here would be is that your triggered power generally is supposed to help fix the problem you're suffering from in some way or form, even abstractly. I can't see the relation between the problem and what he's suffering, other than possibly the amnesia?

I think you could perhaps make it more interesting by making him dependent by what he sees through the camera. Like he can think up the best solution for anything he sees in the camera, but only factoring the things he sees in the camera. Food for thought. ^.^
