She was obviously friends with more than just the ghosts in Witchpeak City. Dawkin carefully observed the events as they occurred, feeling very out of his element and rather useless overall. It was a relatively new feeling and not a welcome one either. Still there wasn't much he could do about it at the moment. "Yeah I'm coming." Dawkin said quietly to the lone Yamask that turned to look at him. Dawkin simply planned on following Amelia, hoping that using the Yamasks to cause distractions as they delved deeper into the tomb didn't backfire on them. At least he still had an escape rope.

Sofia found herself reasonably well armed with knowledge about what an A class threat entailed, as those sort of things tended to be surprisingly available. Whether or not that information would stick very well, much less be useful, was perhaps a different matter. Regardless, it seemed whatever the A class threat was coming was here? Sofia nodded in response to Jason's question, "Ready.", though for what was still unclear. Oh well, this mission should be a lot better than the last one, which Sofia still find herself thinking about with disturbing frequency.
Bladedancer and Magna Carta were on the prowl again, roaming around the city at night a few blocks away from each other with what amounted to small walkie talkies to keep in touch with each other. The whole thing was very strange for Bladedancer, she wasn't used to trying to do this at all, let alone with someone else. It didn't help that the two of them seemed to have vastly different philosophies on this whole crime fighting thing, though that had been pretty apparent as soon as Magna Carta had killed someone in that warehouse. Bladedancer has been hoping that was a one time revenge thing, but somehow it felt like it had just escalated things. She was jolted out of her thoughts by a crackling of her walkie, "I ran into trouble."
Bladedancer's heart skipped a beat, though whether out of fear or excitement, she couldn't say for sure. "I'm on my way." She said and immediately sprinted through an alleyway, jumping a fence and crossing a small street to find Magna Carta standing in an alleyway that was almost literally painted with blood. "W-w-what happened?" Bladedancer asked in shock, resisting the urge to vomit, staggering backwards and leaning against a wall. She immediately recoiled from it upon realizing that there was blood there too, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths.
Magna Carta had a cruel grin on, thankfully hidden behind a strip of cloth. "Well they tried attacking me and one of them had some sort of fire power, so I had to defend myself. Guess they picked the wrong victim."
Bladedancer managed to open her eyes and look at Magna Carta with a bit of unease that had nothing to do with the nausea in her stomach. "Did you have to kill all of them like that though?"
Magna Carta frowned and looked at Bladedancer with disgust. "What the hell do you mean. You think I should've let them just kill me? Huh? You thin-" Her speech suddenly stopped and she looked away, seemingly ashamed of herself now. "No, no, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, please don't hate me." She said passively, her voice dropping away, the last words almost said fearfully.
Bladedancer was confused but haltingly took a step forward to get closer to her partner in an attempt to comfort her, even if Bladedancer felt that she herself was more in need of comforting. "No, its fine really, its fine. Just, next time try to call before trouble comes and maybe if you can, take them down a little less lethally. Ok?"
"Ok"
Things had seemed to calm down after that night, Alice had been very withdrawn, seemingly just trying to avoid doing anything that could make Everissa angry at her. Everissa was a bit confused but was attempting to be as supportive as possible. They were just returning from a trip to the grocery store when they heard a faint yelp echo out of an alleyway. A glance was shared between them and they quickly moved in that direction.
They found a teenage girl being pushed against a wall by a thuggish looking man that couldn't have been younger than thirty. Guessing by the smell and the bottle he had in his had, he was drunk. Everissa could feel Alice trembling in anger beside her and squeezed her hand. "Let me handle it." She whispered and set down the bag of groceries, stepping forward. "HEY CREEP, why don't you find somewhere else to drink." Everissa said aggressively, stepping forward and taking out a butterfly knife with one hand, casually flipping it around in one hand as she continued stepping forward. In her hands the knife was a blur of motion, rarely pausing and seemingly jumped around like it was barely even solid.
The drunk man took a look at her, looking her up and down for more than one reason and then his eyes flicked to the knife, a glimmer of fear in his eyes matching the glimmer of steel in her hand. He took a step back and Everissa pressed her physcological advantage, "SCRAM!" she shouted and the blade seemed to leap forward for a moment as if she had thrown it before flipping around back into her hand. Not that the man saw that, he'd flinched back and ran as soon as he thought he was in danger, not looking back. Everissa was satisfied she'd scared him off with no harm done and turned to his would be victim. "Are you ok?" The girl nodded and ran past Everissa out into the more populated places of the city. Everissa let out a sigh of relief and turned back around to grab her grocery bags, "See, and no one had to die, let's get going again." Alice nodded wordlessly and followed her. But there was an ugly look in Alice's eyes.
Everissa shook her head. "It doesn't matter if they're criminals or not, you shouldn't kill people unless you have to."
Akuce was clearly fruterated, "Don't you understand? Every time you let someone go or leave them tied up you give them the chance to keep ruining people's lives, even if the cops get them they'll just break out or get out on parole, if they even get hard time at all. You can't rust the justice system to do anything!"
"We still can't kill people, I refuse to be as bad as the people I'm trying to stop."
"You already are!" Alice was pratically screaming at this point. "Or did you forget the part where you murdering someone started your crusade?"
Everissa was inevitabvly getting heated as well, "That was a-" Her voice caught in her throat. Fuck. Alice was right. "It was... I was wrong then. I made a mistake. I'm allowed to learn from my mistakes aren't I? Besides, if I hadn't started my 'crusade', you'd be dead!" Everissa said, striking back.
Alice took a step back as though the words had been a strike to the face, hurt and disbelief openly flashing across her face, as easy to read as a street sign and Everissa immediately regretted her words. "I mean, it's just..." Well she was right wasn't she?
Alice was tightlipped with fury now and simply turned: leaving the small apartment, not even bothering to slam the door behind her. Everissa stared after her feeling dismall. Well, she had really gone and done it now.
Alice was gone for a few days before she finally came back. It was around noon, all she said when she came back was, "I'll cook dinner." Everissa wasn't sure how to respond, but Alice didn't seem like she'd be taking no for an answer. The air seemed tense for the rest of the day and Everissa was unsure how to get rid of. Dinner rolled around, it was just heated up chicken really. It did taste kind of funny but it wasn't really th-
Everissa's eyes suddenly flickered open, but the darkness didn't go away, it just changed in hue. She could feel that she was on some sort of wheeled thingie. What. What the fuck!? Everissa desperately tried to recall what had happened last. She remembered Alice coming home, sitting down to eat... Fuck. Had she the food gone bad or something? Was she headed to a morgue? Was she being kidnapped? Everissa heard voices discussing something above her but the bag made it hard for her to hear.
Then she heard a sickening thunk, then screams of pain followed by gunfire. A weapon. She had a knife in her pocket. Everissa struggled within the confines of the bag to reach her pocket knife and quickly cut herself free from the confines of the bag and escaped. She found herself on a trolley of some sort. But more importantly, she could already see one dead person on the side she'd rolled out from. Desperate to get some understanding of what was going on Everissa's head swiveled to take in the situation as she lay on the ground, hopefully avoiding attention.
What she found was Magna Carta darting around, various objects flying away from her to impale the remaining three out of the original 5, guessing by the two corpses. Everissa wasn't sure what was going on, but she knew that the gunmen were trying to kill Magna Carta. So Everissa quickly got behind one and put her knife to his throat and began pulling him away.
"Struggle and I'll kill you." She hissed in his ear. In that time Magna Carta took care of the last two, somehow avoiding all the pistol shots that came her way. Everissa wasn't exactly pleased with more dead people but this certainly was a do or die situation, though she wasn't quite sure how she'd gotten into it.
"Magna, are you al-" Huh? Everissa blinked rapidly from her position on the ground. What? Why did it feel like she had icicles in her stomach. Cold was spreading throughout her. She looked down at her stomach to find there were holes in it. The man that she'd dropped somehow was next to her too, with matching holes. Finally Everissa looked at Magna Carta, full of confusion. "Wha…" Magna Carta waltzed over with a sad look on her face and patted Everissa's face consolingly.
"I'm sorry, I just... Couldn't trust you." She said mournfully and walked away. "But at least you were good bait." And just like that, Everissa was left to die with nothing but the cold ground and the wet, bloody, breathing of the man next to her for comfort.
"I hope...she'll be okay."
Alice sat in Everissa's aparatment. Her apartment now really. She doubted any questions would be asked, if they were she could take everything of value and just move somewhere else. She was sad that she'd had to kill her. But Everissa had been trying to control her. Trying to change her. Alice just couldn't trust her. So she'd had to get rid of her. Oh well, at least she'd been good bait for the trap she'd set for the Community.
Alice fiddled with the mask Everissa had gotten her. Magna Carta. She still didn't know why Everissa had chosen that name. She didn't even know what it meant really. And every time she thought of it she thought of Everissa's face. The betrayal Alice had seen in her eyes. As though Alice had been the one in the wrong. Alice let the mask fall the ground and stood, her feet crushing it with painful deliberation. She couldn't use that name anymore.
Lodestone. That would be the name that haunted the Community and Lethal Force. She would hunt them and be like a law of nature unto them, impossible to deny or escape from. And eventually, she would ensure they all died.
Dawkin watched the girl from a distance somewhat nervously. This could go very badly for all of them at the drop of a hat. His tenseness made him jump a little at the sudden call from a masked ghost Pokémon "Uh... You really do have a knack for ghost Pokémon don't you." Dawkin said, somewhat alarmed by the small horde of ghost Pokémon that had showed up. At least they didn't seem to be aggressive, or attracting the scary Pokémon in the next room. Anyway, he decided to just wait for Amelia to handle it in some way, this was her area of expertise after all.

Sofia didn't like how they had to use cars to get everywhere but here they were. Thunderbird had told her that as long as she was covered up and staring at a phone she'd be ignored. So, with a hoodie and baggy sweats making her basically just a lump of gray holding a screen, Sofia walked through the airport with everyone else. An A class threat to an airport huh. Sofia's thoughts wandered. What kind of threat could it be. And what did A class mean again? If it was like school it was the highest threat but how much bigger was that than like a B threat? What was it that made it an A threat and why did Broker know about and why did he want them to stop it? Maybe she could look it up. Sofia tailed along behind Thunderbird, looking now looking up information about A class threats on her phone.
Dawkin looked at the situation uneasily. Those were very powerful Pokémon there was no doubt about it. They may have been able to use mostly brute force to get this far, but any direct confrontation from here on would be incredibly dangerous. They carefully crept forward and Dawkin barely resisted letting out a shout as a dark shape suddenly flew by them. Ghost Pokémon. Dawkin shook his head and swallowed the noise he'd almost let out. The girl they'd been trailing seemed to have no such qualms, sprinting right past the danger and running up to what appeared to be the human leader. "It doesn't look like we can do anything but watch and see what happens." Dawkin whispered to Amelia. After all they couldn't fight, couldn't get much closer without being seen. Really all they can do was wait and see if the girl succeeded on her mission.

Col had not given up. He didn't understand what was happening. Where he was going. Even his sense of time seemed off. He might as well be asleep for all the control he had over the situation. But he was looking for a way out, for something to do, for some way to win still. Somehow along the way the incomprehensible journey came to an end and Col realized there was hard ground beneath him. He struggled to his feet, his entire body feeling tingly like when he slept on a limb. An ocean? A lighthouse? A giant- oh not this shit again. Col desperately ordered his limbs to move and get in the way of the charging dog but he barely managed to get to his feet and retrieve his sword before the dog had reached them with his massive thundering stride. To his great surprise however, it did not immediately consume Lorenzo, instead coming to a halt just in front of him. The time between the dog and its apparent master felt tense, as Col was waiting for the massive beast to attack them at any second, though he would be able to do little about it even if it did. At least by the time its master arrived he had regained full feeling and seeming capability of his limbs.
Apparently Marque knew this old man? And he seemed to want them to follow him. As the two spoke Col took this chance to grab the rest of his equipment that had landed on the ground around him. Merlin was safe according to this stranger but his saddlebags apparently had stayed here. Not sure of the logic behind this, Col decided it best to bring it just in case, slinging it on top of his own shoulders with a grimace, they were quite heavy. At least he hadn't become weaker over the journey. The last minute shield he had acquired, however long ago, now seemed to be strangely shiny. Col moved the shield around to see if was some trick of the light but the effect persisted. Well, it was perhaps one of the least strange things that had happened all things considered. Col was still confused as the robed man began walking away, imploring them to follow him. Had situation gone on any longer Col certainly would have asked the old man to explain what was going on, but Marque kindly spoke up again.
Col would follow the Marque but was most curious to hear anything the old man could say to enlighten them as to what exactly was going on. It wasn't like he had much of anywhere else to go, had he been alone he would've headed to the lighthouse regardless.

Dawkin wasn't surprised to hear her response. It would be a waste to leave now. Amelia suspected there might be an Aegislash further in, it would be strong enough to take both of their teams combined, probably with very little effort, considering how many lower level pokemon it had working for it. Yeah, like because we're stupid enough to try killing ourselves over a battle we can't win. Dawkin thought to himself grumpily, displeased with Joshua's babying. Whatever, "Yeah, let's go." Dawkin said, heading after Amelia.

Titania's eyes widened to the size of saucers as a Manakete jumped over the wall and announced herself. Titania began stuttering out an answer to her question but was quickly overridden by the, apparently rather overbearing, manakete. It seemed she was able to sense the Fire Emblem, which was frankly a little concerning since it meant there were likely other people who could do the same thing. On the other hand it might just be because she was a manakete and considering Titania hadn't seen one before this, they were pretty rare. "Uh well, we're more than happy to have your help considering how outnumbered we are. Let's be careful everyone, if we fight in the houses then-" Oh there goes Isolde. Not only did she began charging forward, she did it so poorly that she managed to get her dragon to do it without her, crashing into the newcomer Servus as if in direct defiance of Titania's call out. "... Someone should help her." Titania said, more to herself than anything else.
The skirmish had gone pretty well and things were basically finished. "Wooper, mud shot. Good work you two." Dawkin said, recalling Atlas and Wooper once he'd seen Honedge faint. A quick glance ahead showed Joshua had dealt with the kidnapper Golett, and the kidnappe was running off. Dawkin turned to Amelia, "Well I was on planning on following that girl deeper into the temple in case she runs into trouble, especially since you and her seem to be after the same thing. Sound like a plan?" Dawkin asked. He had contemplated asking her if she could get Joshua to leave them alone, but figured that question would be in poor taste.
