I would like to harass talk to CQB as well, though about a different matter.
Meesei turned the page in her notes as she was given the floor to speak once more. The testimonies and physical evidence she had provided so far placed Harriet in the meeting room, alone, with the waterskin which had been used to poison Jerrick, in the time frame that their tests had shown he had been poisoned. There were not too many points left which she needed to present.

"Shortly after the meeting concluded, Jerrick went to the dining chamber, as I, and any were were listening to the story I was telling, can confirm. He pulled me aside to a private room once my story had concluded, at which point he explained to me everything about the vision Hircine had given him. We made our plans for ambushing the traitor later that night, then parted ways. Jerrick set out to make his preparations, and to gather some materials for me, including a soul gem so I could enchant an invisibility scroll for him, and a welkynd stone to aid me in sustaining my spells over the course of the night. Through all of my investigation, neither I, nor anyone assisting me, has found evidence for any other opportunity at which Jerrick's waterskin could have been poisoned. At that point, he was aware the traitor would be targeting him that day, so he would have been on alert, and I had cautioned him not to eat nor drink anything for the rest of the day, to which he had agreed." Meesei explained. With that point, she had given strong evidence that the only lieutenant who could have poisoned Jerrick was Harriet. However, there was still the vial remaining.

Reaching into her bag, Meesei produced two sealed glass containers, one with the vial, and the other with the rag. The corner of the rag which the witnesses had touched had been cut away, while the vial was entirely intact. "I believe the evidence presented so far is enough to show that Harriet was the only lieutenant with the opportunity to poison Jerrick. However, there is another piece of evidence. During the course of my investigation, I had Grolak search Harriet's room. In it, he discovered a hiding space under a broken stone in her floor. In that space was this vial, and this rag wrapped around it. The vial contained traces of a black liquid, which Sabine and Carana tested and confirmed to be the same poison used on Jerrick. Furthermore, the vial bears a symbol which resembles certain depictions of Clavicus Vile. One of my first thoughts upon learning of this was that it could have been planted, as its discovery did seem almost too suspicious. However, after investigating myself, I found nothing that would suggest it had been planted by anyone but Harriet. The hiding space in which it was found was well-hidden, and would have been easy to miss. It was fortunate that Grolak managed to locate it. If the traitor wished to plant false evidence, then it would make more sense to plant said evidence among her belongings, rather than in a place where it would not so easily be found. Additionally, the only scents which I could detect in the hiding spot, and on the rag found within, were Grolak's, Harreit's, and of course my own. There were no traces of anyone else on any of the items. When I confronted Harriet with this and asked her to show how it could have been planted, she made no effort to prove that the vial was not hers. Being made primarily of glass, the vial itself does not easily hold a scent. The cork may still hold the traitor's scent, however; there was not sufficient time before the trial for Sabine and Carana to finish their test. I have brought both the rag and vial in sealed containers so that you may inspect them. I still would like to allow them to finish their tests on the cork, so I would ask that you not open its container. But, the rag has been sealed away for a few days and still should hold its scents." Meesei said as she moved to give the containers to Najirra.
Well, it didn't exist in Batarian history, but if present-day is anything to go by, there will still be people who keep using ancient Human techniques. Keep in mind, a normal katana would not be practical in most situations (since they cannot cut through combat armor). If it were something like the Cerberus phantoms used, then it could be an effective melee weapon. However, melee also isn't something you can exactly rely on when everyone has a firearm. If you use something like a tactical cloak or biotic charge to get close, though, it could be a viable tactic in some fights.
I'm going to let CQB post, as he needs to decide what the Cabal does, since splitting up would put everyone in a lot more danger.

I wasn't concern about that.

She would still fight. My point, which I might've been explaining wrong, was more we have a lot of PCs who could easily take the leadership mantle in the rp. Like Ssarak, or Grey in a way during combative situation, did in the Blood mission. Raa, by default, is what I class as a full on follower type because of her passive behavior. It's more an issue of confidence in an area she hasn't any experience in that keeps her from stating her thoughts rather. It's more of an IC issue, rather than an OoC, because how I designed her as a PC. If someone tried to butt into an knowledgeable area, like software or tech, she would be more assertive in telling them to back off or what to do.

Well, Donny seems to have taken the lead, or at least done something to get people moving. Could just follow that.

Wait, whoa. Can I be a gentlemanly Vorcha? An angry Elcor? A Samaritan Batarian? The possibilities are endless!

Or even a dumb Salarian! Actually, not such a good idea.

Hello. I should be able to accept characters for at least a while longer.
"Of course, as you wish, Najirra." Meesei responded. With his wounds, Meesei did not like the idea of bringing Oswall out into public, but he was stable, so there was not likely much of a risk to him. As long as some of the healers stayed with him, Meesei could be comfortable with him giving his testimony in person. It was not as if it would harm her case in any way, since he was not going to change his answers for the trial itself.

Meesei continued from where she left off, which would be to talk about the meeting itself. "More than one source confirms that Jerrick did drink from his waterskin after the lessons were over. And indeed, one would expect that, after such intense physical activity as a werewolf transformation, one would be prone to looking for a drink of water. As such, the poison could not have been applied before that point, which leaves his next destination after the main hall: the meeting. Once all of the lieutenants had arrived, the meeting started as fairly mundane, since they discussed matters pertaining to the normal operation of the clan. Midway through the meeting is when myself and my pack arrived and were brought to them. After introductions, we explained our purpose in coming here, which was originally to investigate a group of Vile's agents who we knew to be making their way to this area. Then, my pack was taken on a tour of this ruin by Oswall's son, while Jerrick and the rest of the lieutenants remained in the meeting room for a while longer. All lieutenants, even Harriet, agree that Oswall was the first to leave, as he was eager to speak to myself and my pack in the dining hall. Afterwards, Darahil and Jerrick stepped out onto the mezzanine overlooking the dining hall to speak, and both Darahil and Vera agree that Jerrick forgot to bring his waterskin with him and instead left it on the table in the meeting room. This left Vera and Harriet in the room with his waterskin, with the one who left first being the one with an opportunity to poison Jerrick's waterskin. During my questioning, I encountered the first evidence of a directly lie regarding this point, as both Vera and Harriet claimed to have been the first to leave the room. However, Darahil, as well as members of my pack who had been observing the mezzanine at the time, say that Vera left the meeting room before Harriet. This means that Harriet was left alone with the waterskin, and during my questioning, attempted to deceive me of that fact." Meesei explained, pausing a moment as she cast her gaze to each of the lieutenants present. "Can the lieutenants confirm my statements?"
Bad part, while I might lean to saving the humans and do would Raa, getting her to fight for that option is another matter completely.

Does it help that there is no option that keeps civilians away from fighting?
Yes, it would be cqb's decision, so you should probably edit it out of your last post that they split off.
As I had Avatar mention in IC, I would strongly recommend not having anyone split up, mostly because it does kind of defeat the purpose of introducing a choice between helping the humans or not if we can just take both options. Whatever choice we take, everyone needs to take it together, as there is no way to keep the civilians out of a firefight. Enemies are everywhere.
I'm about to head to bed, so I won't be able to respond tonight, but I will in the morning.
