I can see how you might have been occupied...

I'm going to post soon. I've been really busy.
@ArenaSnow Uh, did you forget about Edict's flanking and sword slash?
Still need your defense speech to have a status effect like: Selected ally gains Motivated for two turns. While motivated the target gains defense equal to their level +1.

Done. Idk how I forgot that.

I wouldn't count out Cassius' speed.

His inexperience is gonna get him killed though.
The first sword charge will be easy enough, dealing with flanking... either that's going to be hard to do or it will cause some degree of damage, although there is the demon-forged armor to consider in that, along with the... robust nature of "demon magic".

Remember Edict's anti magic items though.
@Genni

Yes True neutral. In my head the whole reason he's indentured is because he has 154 counts of disturbing the peace. But he also has helped out the police force then went on the start a riot the next week. Also, I imagine him a punk rocker with a megaphone.
@Elitestpotato Azavarn: "Oh magic doesn't work on you old sport? Good, I always found most magic quite tedious. I always preferred a more physical approach." *draws three arrows*

Edict: *sells soul to defeat rest of Keeper's forces along with the Keeper*

Just kidding. But honestly, Edict probably doesn't have much of a problem with Azavarn. I mean, Edict is a neutral hero and Azavarn just preys on mostly the greedy and idiots as well. I don't think Edict would actually sell his soul though. Especially after he spent so much money for a security system.
Edict thinks for a moment. Aezophyl... Demon... Fire...
Edict's thoughts are suddenly interrupted by the young guy attacking the demon.
"Fucking idiot! Gno-... Tirarian! Get inside the inn! Save innocents! Oh, and take this." Edict yells as he tosses the satchel of powder he used earlier to the Gnome. "Xusin. I know you're not helpless. Flank left. Attack when you feel it's right, got it? And for god's sake don't be a dumbass and get killed.", at this point Edict is barking orders. Tossing a small bag at Maria he barks, "There's more than enough gold in that bag. Now if anyone comes out of that inn you heal them got it? ", if Maria were to open the bag she'd find a small fortune in gold.

Having set up a plan, the Witch Hunter springs into action. He draws his sword and throws a magic-draining dagger towards Aezophyl's helmet. Using a combination of the dagger and the young guy's frontal assault as a distraction, Edict flanks to the right, runs full sprint at the demon, slashes at the right knee of the pyromancer then proceeds to flip backwards a few feet and raise his shield.
@Elitestpotato, And I'd like to say that Torrens by default outputs fire as ordinary fire, unless he wills it otherwise, which obeys standard physics and carries ordinary thermal energy. So Edict may be resistant to fire balls or fire bolts or flame shields or the like (since the only way those would hold shape is by magic), but if Torrens just unleashes an inferno Edict's going to roast.

In my opinion, the Empyrean (set to instant incineration) would burn either just the shield, or all of him, depending on the intensity.

Ah, but you forget that Edict has studied demons and therefore would know at least somewhat about Torren. You don't think he has dealt with that kind of fire before? He's not just going to instantly combust and that's the end of him.
