We can give ya something to peek at. We'll be updating those images slowly. We'd update them more often, but the upload rate here is horrible, so we're not uploading that much. We've added a couple of nation borders after the current version, but uploading a 10-20mb file on a 0.1mbit line isn't fun.

Full size map

Border map, full size
The reboot stuff is shaping up fairly well now.
Sep. This could be a nice opportunity to make the relics of Thora and Kheris similar in function (but not identical). Sort of like how two inventors independently make a thingamajig to do the same thing, but have opposite approaches to the task.

We're thinking that our darkness-weaving NPC will still exist, but not necessarily survive the taking of Amaryth. His power, while intangible, is still very useful. That in itself is a reason it shouldn't be too readily available.
yes, we agree. Plot should be fitted to the current PCs (unless someone of course makes it clear a PC of theirs will be discarded as part of reboot.

Another thing we feel is important for the plot is that there won't be any railroading. This plot here should be an option. If someone can find a decent reason to go off on a tangent, who are we to stop him/her?
the idea we based some imperial evokers around was not directly blood = compatability & better blood = higher compatability, but rather that those with more "pure" blood, if such can even be said after a thousand years, had more of that undefinable magical component that makes them interesting to the relics. Thus it can be bred, but not necessarily successfully. Magic, as everyone knows, can be fickle. The child of two with strong blood might have strong blood, but doesn't have to have strong compatibility.

As for the charisma bit, Free... We fully agree.
We're not charismatic in that way. Throw us in the gritty lore, no problem. Make us deal with people and we're not as good.
We're willing to co-GM with many of the others here, Both Barks and Alida, wethinks would work very well. We don't know you too well, Barks, but we're sure that can be fixed.

We think you've got enough GMing to deal with as it is, thats why we're not recommending you, Sep. Its better for all your RPs to stick to GMing just a few.

you could draw on that image for roughly how you imagine that kingdom you spoke of as being shaped. We can later draw in nicer borders between nations.
we're just not sure what to vote, Barks.

We did fix a bit on the map just now. The primary thing we did was really to expand the river count. Extend the ends so they actually start in the mountains. Add side streams. And add a river down from the inland sea.

We're also thinking that maybe changing the pixels to 1x1 km is better than to 2x2km. That makes calculating distances much easier, and it'll be more than large enough for the RP.

The image has a red border where we earlier at least imagined the Kalesian Empire covering.

The image won't work now, as we're still uploading it on this slow net. But it'll be up soonish.

That image of a suited up dog probably has a bit to do with last part of 3. But its a chuckleworthy image of decent quality, so that doesn't matter much.

We fully agree with discarding most of the NPCs we crafted. Especially the one-shot ones. We just added names to those for depth, not because we actually felt we needed to have them. We're normally rather fond of killing our own (N)PCs, so that'll probably happen again. Especially if it aids the plot.
We're thinking of keeping an invasion, but making it not start so soon.

2. Relics should have some sort of basic rules yes. But again, those rules should be mystical and not really understood. Especially not for the player characters. We'd think they should have some sort of source for their power, something that means most relics can't be on constantly. We'd think it would not be identical source for all, but it could be related.
How relics were made should not be understood, wethinks.

One of the small peeves we have in RPs is that technologies make sense in relation to each other, and that clothing/armor/weapons/etc. are realistic. Mind you, if someone's got the strength of many men, then the armor they wear can be heavier than that of someone with normal strength. It doesn't have to be, though. Chain mail bikinis, breastplates with cleavage, armor with exposed abdomen, etc. never make sense. If you've got the technology to make armor like that, you've got the knowledge of what sort of armor actually protects the wearer. We've no objections to primitives wearing hide loincloths or stuff like that, as societies where that is normal probably don't have the knowledge to make better protection.

We got the raw map from Sparks a bit ago, so we can set up a new map.
we agree there should be some sort of system behind the Relics. It doesn't have to make sense, though.
That sounds excellent, Alida. We could only find the one Sep found, but that wasn't full size.

We'll not be around much then (got work in less than 4 hours), but we'll be on tomorrow again.

we found a nice city that can be used somewhere, though.

Its not really been decided.
