Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

To be filled in over time.
yes, Barks is remembering all the stuff we keep forgetting to cover and the IC is mostly his work. Barks may think he has a lesser effect upon things, but if he does, he is incorrect.
considering the disparate schedules of the plotters, we can't really give one yet.

We can say this much: most of the lore has been hashed out, the OoC to a large degree worked out, and the IC composition started.

Other than the IC, there is a little bit of hashing out left in what should go where. But it will not be long now.

We'll be busy this weekend, so not sure if we can get it up before then. if not, then it should be up by the start of the next week.
The new Relics concept has really shaped up today after we worked well with AlidaMaria. We have high hopes it can be ready to launch soon.
We still need to name a few nations and such, but thats actually fairly a minor thing considering that everyone will start in Othea.
if you want to name some, feel free to use the map posted earlier for reference.
Named nations are:
Blue center (Othea)
Green NE of that (Kalnach)
Red East (Kalesia)
Yellow (tentatively, "Haunted hills")
Southern peninsula (Dominion of Idris)
some of the eastern islands (Da-Hyun)
two-three not-quite-placed nations (Oragos, Harra?)

You can work out from this framework: (use this link to get the code)

one: we didn't spot any spelling errors on reading, so your english is good.

Two: Studying for exams + sickness = perfectly good excuse for not being able to participate.

three: exactly what color is what on the map isn't sure. Those are border suggestions. The islands are easy to change the borders for. It takes a bit more time on the land borders, but its entirely possible.

Now off to that PM.
A lot of stuff still needs constructing, especially for Othea, and there are a few places we've left question marks. Another thing that needs deciding is what neighboring nation is where in relation to Othea.
We added nation shapes too all the landmass now. We can potentially change that section you wanted if you PM us the concept you had, Wilson. If it fits into everything else, we'll add it in. We could also suggest a few other places to put it. There are a few spots at least as hard-to-get-to as that one. Including a few that aren't half a continent away from Othea, where everything will be focused initially.

We're waiting on Alida to get back from wherever. And a little for barks to throw stuff into the plans. (preferably wrenches). We don't want to design everything for this RP. Part of the charm here is the fact that elements have so many architects.
A katana has no previous use in the Stargate Universe. They're undeniably cool, but they're not truly superior to other swords of high-quality materials (despite what certain parts of the Internet want you to think). Even if someone should own one (which is not entirely unlikely) they wouldn't have it as part of their regular uniform. If they're Japanese, it could feasibly be part of a dress uniform, but as others have said, swords are no longer part of regular field combat. Of the likely options, if your character is an officer, he or she might have a Katana on a display in his/her quarters. (S)he might even know how to use it. (everyone has hobbies after all)

That being said, a fancy weapon shouldn't be the focus of your character design. No matter how you put it, a weapon is a minor detail. What you should think more on is everything else about your character.
Sorry Wilson. Ignoring you was not intentional. We just haven't been able to keep track of everything. You don't have to ask to PM us if you have something you want to mention/discuss/whatever.
