Don't worry, maki... The "did not post"-bit was on the recent roll call, not referring to IC. There were no consequences for not responding there, so don't worry there. It's good to see that you are still around.

Not sure about whether a thorough licking counts as an attack, Fallen...
So, in a couple of days, that gives a present count of eight people.

The ones not checked in, from the CS list are:
Maki, Sep & Freeshooter.
We know Sep has temporarily dropped out due to overload from other RPs & Freeshooter is working on that post with Alida, so that leaves Maki as the only one with a CS that hasn't posted.

Echo, you should put your CS into the thread. And did you have a CS, Wilson? If so, see what we told echo.

Anyone else not with an approved/posted CS that are around?
It seems it might be a good idea to have a roll call about now... Things are too quiet here.
Name: Angie Nic Cuán
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Faction/Allegiance: Neutral
Relic Description: Appearance unknown. Grants the evoker the sensory abilities of a wolf, as well as the ability to “talk” with canines. She also has some of a wolf’s endurance.
Appearance: A young woman, with multi-toned light brown hair. Dressed as most other women in Amaryth. The thing that stands out about her is the wolf-like yellow eyes. This is also the reason the Inquisitors hunt her.

Flaws: New to the relic. No combat skills. Little experience
Skills: Running. Common sense. A bit wily. Oh, and she’s an excellent baker.
Biography: Born and raised in Amaryth. She was an apprentice under her Father, a master baker, fully intending to take over the family business when he died or retired. While they do own their own bakery, they are not really a rich family. Everything about her life was going well. Her family’s primary client was the local chapter of the Order of Idris, and all knew how they viewed evokers. Neither she nor her parents were particularly religious, but when she by chance triggered a relic of the Old Kingdom. At first it was easy to hide, for all it did then was to improve her senses. But later, as time passed, the improvements to her senses improved and she started being able to understand, and speak to, canine animals. After several months, her eyes took on a decidedly wolven cast, turning from a Kaokan brown to a bright yellow. When by ill luck one of the Order’s inquisitors got word of that, her father got two choices; either he could turn her over to the Order, or he could lose the contract with the Order. In other words, either he could lose his only daughter, or he could see the bakery go bankrupt. There were no good options. For weeks he managed to put them off, but the demands grew ever stronger, until one late evening he caved in, vowing to them that he’d let them take her.

Of course, by the time the inquisitors came for her, her mother had sent her out on her way. She never saw her family again, so she never knew if her father had been punished or not. For days now, she has been struggling to elude the inquisitors.
Personality/motivation: She wants to live. Thus she’s running.

NPC
Name: Stevan Vlahovic
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Faction/Allegiance: Dominion of Idris
Relic Description: N/A
Appearance: Stringy, lean type. Black hair & Beard. Clean, Dark blue Inquisitors’ robes. Medium height.
Flaws: There is only one truth. Nothing else is acceptable.
Skills: Interrogation. Torture. Preaching. Some fighting, though is preferred form of combat is oral.
Biography: Stevan was born and raised in the Dominion. He joined the order as soon as he could, for he was a true believer. As the years went by, he steadily advanced through the ranks, eventually aspiring to the lofty rank of Inquisitor. Recently, he was sent to Othea to help convert the populace to the one true faith, a goal he has pursued with eagerness.
Personality/motivation: He knows the truth and intends to make all others believe as he does, no matter what they feel about the issue. He is ruthless, methodical and unyielding.
A collab between us and Echo is now coming along nicely. Should move things along well.

Sorry to hear that Apokalipse, but no worries. The RP will survive.

we've begun another post, this time without Thora. Should hopefully be finished sometime tomorrow. It'll reveal more about the Kalesians in Amaryth and provide an example of an NPC character.
yes, we are alive. But still without net. We're really starting to get annoyed at that particular lack now.
Its not as good as we'd have preferred, but at least there's a post in now. Should begin to introduce Thora. Anyone can feel free to build upon that framework.
Dawn was not far off, that much Thora knew. She could feel it in her bones. It was only fortunate that the gates of Amaryth weren't sealed shut at night. But then, the guards had no reason to do so. The whole nation was infected with a serious case of peace, so aside from minor border skirmishes to the south and west, there was no conflicts at all in the entire kingdom.

Thora made her way through the gate, seeking to find an inn before the sun rose, for in her weeks of journeying, she had found that it was much better to travel at night, when the sun could not hurt her eyes. Looking back, she saw that there were several soldiers stationed upon the walls, but that the walls also bore signs of disrepair. Or at least she thought they did, not knowing anything about fortifications. There certainly weren't enough soldiers there to defend the walls properly should anyone hostile come calling, but she supposed the barracks held more.

Making her way into the city, she went deeper, searching for an inn that was open. It took her a long time to find anything, for almost all were closed down still. Or full, of course. There were some strange posters about, but she could not understand them, as she couldn't read. There were some fancy drawings of warriors sparring, so she guessed that could possibly be about some tournament or somesuch, considering that war wasn't likely. It had to be one of those. Or it could be some armorer's advertisement. Truthfully, she really had no idea what it was, and there were none around to ask.

First order of business would be to find a decent inn for the morning. Second order of business would be to find someone to help her understand the relic. Should be simple enough, she thought. She'd crossed the entire city, arriving down near the docks before she found an inn with any room left. Guessing from the sign, she thought the name might be 'the gutted Karak'. At least that's what it looked like.

The room wasn't particularly large or clean, but at least it had a bed and curtains to ward out the morning light. That would have to serve for now. She didn't care if anyone found it odd that she'd go to sleep with the sunrise. She was rather tired and needed the rest. Especially since she'd have to go out later in the daylight, something she did not look forward to.
We suppose guilds exist... No reason for them not to do so. However, we doubt most guilds have much close contact with similar guilds in other kingdoms. There would not be any guilds that span all of Azukhar. There are too many conflicts of interest.

Some guilds might have some contacts with guilds in other nations. Thieves guilds probably don't have much reach, if they exist in any organized fashion.
