Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

Heh. That is a reasonable reason not to pop into the IRC.
This concept feels fairly combat-oriented, @Plank Sinatra. By the lack of being in tune with the Force, we suppose you mean that he's not firmly grounded in the light side of the Force?
There is one small concern: If all he's known is Coruscant, how did he escape the Sacking?
If he was on Coruscant at the time, he would either have been killed or captured. While there may have been one or two who weren't, those were driven insane and would never have been considered for the rescue mission even if they had been around other Jedi.

Most Jedi would also have been trained on several planets. Perhaps they have spent most of their lives on one world, but it would be incredibly rare for someone not to go to any other planets at all.

How old do you imagine your Jedi being?
Does he have any skills that aren't combat-related?
Do you have a species in mind?
thanks for the criticism, @Holmishire. We will put it to good use.

Time constraints did mess with the ending, leaving it less than satisfactory. We had a debate with ourselves about whether to submit a half-finished story or to write an ending of sorts (which ended up being a sub-par ending), and ended up with the latter. Not sure which would have been best. We do intend to finish the story sometime.

We do try to not reuse too many words too often, but obviously we failed at some points. That is a flaw that needs fixing. There are far too many adequate synonyms in the English language to need to repeat descriptive words frequently. We'll try to remember the bit about more abrupt endings if we do end up in this same situation again.

The bit on the doctor's view of rape was a good catch. We'll remember that. It was meant to convey just how disgusted the doctor was with the concept of rape, but clearly it did not do it quite as good as intended. An earlier version of the story, which is long discarded, did not have him hold such a view. That in turn made the story not work in the long run, not to mention make it far less entertaining to read.

We feel that when people review our work, they deserve to be answered.
Not found ones we liked sufficiently, and its taken a while to fix up Coruscant Sacked: Aftermath.

You can find several links to it in our signature, @Yekaterina.

What sort of RPs attract you,@Script?
Good to know for later people with the same issue.
getting asked back... now that isn't everyday fare.

Sci-fi, fantasy, lots of things.

Currently only dealing with a large Star Wars RP.
We'come to the guild. We expect you plan to stay here long, yes?
What sort of RPs interest you?
Indeed. Reading is virtually mandatory for expanding on your worldbuilding. We'd actually say that some fandom setting require almost as much worldbuilding as full on original settings do. They certainly require more specialized research if you want to stick true to that universe's lore.

Mish-mash cultures are fun. Both ones mixed from existing ones (or extinct) and those mixed with fictional ones. Sometimes, historic cultures lack that single element you need to make the fictional culture "yours". That is when the fictional cultures built by other authors can come in handy. Unless your imagination fixes it for ya, of course.

For example... You have a classic culture of mounted warriors. Nothing special about that. What happens when you replace their horses with carnivores? How does that change your culture?
Stereotypes are also fun to play with. Like the russian bear cavalry. You don't want to mess with them.

We could probably go on for hours with examples.
