Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

we're reading through that bit of lore. Got distracted by IRC for a bit. (sensible discussions can be very distracting.)
That logic is... infallible.
good to know.
We'll look at it.

You working today too, or up to dropping by the IRC,@SimplyJohn?
out of curiosity, could you point to the relevant lore, @SimplyJohn? Never hurts to read more lore.
The nice thing about having players in all primary groups in the RP is that the numbers can be scaled with the player/character count. When one faction grows beyond a certain size in comparison to the other two, they can be scaled up. If there is an excess of prisoners, new Sith and rescuers can, and will be permitted.

Or, of course, people end up dying. You never know for sure. But the deaths could, of course, just as well be in Sith and rescuer ranks as in prisoner ranks. That, naturally, will open up slots as well.
Should players in occupied slots drop, such slots will naturally open up. Should there be an excess in the prisoners group compared to the others, more slots may also be created. In time, it will also be opened up for multiple characters from players, which in turn can promote such new slots being added.
Yes. that is often common in mary sues.
Fair enough.
We've heard that pathfinder is a pretty easy system to play with... Our experience with it supports that. To run a pathfinder campaign, you only need a single book. The core rulebook has everything you need for the basic stuff, whereas D&D 5e requires both the player handbook, the GM book and a bestiary.

You can download the pathfinder core rulebook (legally) free too, but its often easier to also have a papery version, as a 600+ page pdf can be slow to move about in.
Decent concept @SimplyJohn, except for one thing... The Grand Master at the time of the Sacking, Zym, wasn't on Coruscant at the time. He was on Alderaan, negotiating the peace treaty with the Sith Empire.

Also, why would the Grand Master be summoning him anyways? There were tens of thousands of Jedi, if not hundreds of thousands. Thus knighthood isn't something truly special for the leaders of the order to get involved in. They had more than enough to do with the war effort and the peace negotiations.
