I had to take a double take for a moment there, namely as I have another PC in another rp that has a very similar name. Khan Jevarath, however I like it and just thought I share that.

Appearance:
Khan is a man resembling, in a limited sense, a bear. His face is often unshaven, in fact he rarely goes out of his way to find a conventional blade to put to his face. The hair above his facial hair is unusually long, kept in dreadlocks for his convenience during rapid movement. His hair has a deep, hazelly color in his hair, blending well with the soft beige pigment of his skin. His stocky frame is large, six feet tall in height, and thick with muscle all throughout.
Flaws:
He is prone to hesitation when it comes to hurting people. For this reason, he likes to avoid direct confrontations. Even if he is in a clearly superior tactical or moral stance, he must push himself beyond his comfort zone to consciously cause pain. His belief in people's ability to be redeemed may often lead to unnecessary risks, such as the threat of bodily harm or betrayal. At times, he considers the lives of less sophisticated or non-sentient life forms to be of equal or greater value than the 'people' around him.
Alright, one question. Does the non-sentient refer to animals, or does that include droids too? If does include droids, you might want to clear that up a bit and also include why or how that happened.
What is the reason for his hesitation here? How has he coped with this during the war with the Sith Empire? If this flaw is as marked as it is, why would Master Novan contact him, considering that the rescue mission guarantees he’ll come into direct confrontations and combat?
You speak of “his people”. Who are they?Skills:
Having lived in the forests of Kashyyyk, he has developed acrobatic finesse and the ability to climb many varieties of trees with his bare hands, or using his lightsaber when necessary. When he can hold himself together in combat he is very effective as a lightsaber duelist, deftly batting his blade unexpectedly in a risky, though typically rewarding, fashion. Also worth noting is his physique. While he is no match in a serious contest, he has playfully wrestled with Wookies for years, increasing his musculature massively through regular practice.
I know it’s not required, or mentioned as it’s needed, but I’m curious. What is your Jedi’s form in combat? Each one has specific areas, like Soresu is mostly known for its defense and out lasting and opponent while Makshi is more suited for 1x1 dueling and less able to combat a whole group at once. However it also depends on many factors like duelist experience, focus, and style. Some Jedi dub in more than one style creating one of their own, though being an ‘expert’ on all styles is very bad as they start to smash together. That’s why some Jedi take bits and pieces of 2-3 styles at most and design their own, however some weakness are present with the strengths. something that usually happens with any combat style.
Does he have any others skills? how is he with working with technology? Can he pilot ships? (if yes, how well?) Force capabilities:
In addition to standard force abilities, he has an obvious aptitude for turning animals to his side and befriending them, leading to a mind-link with creatures in a 'mid-level' intellectual range. While he is not capable of a Force whirlwind (yet), he is capable of creating one-directional winds, akin to a force push from a direction not his own. Useful while he is amongst beasts is the Revitalize abilities, also used on occasion for more intelligent beings around him.
I think the force ability you’re looking for is Animal Friendship which, to my knowledge, no one has yet. Feel just to state that in the section and I believe it’s an uncommon one which is rather nice. I’ll make sure he gets to use it a few times.
Biography:
The planet Coruscant had been the cradle for many infants in the realm of the Republic, but one of them would be quite different from those around him. Khan Javari had distinguished himself from his peers shortly after birth by building a lifelong relationship with a mere rodent, which would play with him, lay with him, or even fetch such things as a bite to eat for him. When he was three years old, Rauma, as his companion was named, died in her sleep.
Khan was given up by his parents to the Jedi Temple for training before he could develop any real memories of them. As was the case with virtually all around him, he dreamt of becoming one of the highly revered Jedi Knights, respected and beloved by all of the Republic. Yet he was initially awkward when compared to the others, little in size and uncoordinated in the realm of social exchanges. His greatest company and best friends were whatever animals happened to be near him.
The Coruscanti Jedi Temple isn’t the only place of training for Jedi, nor do most who train there stay on Coruscant during their entire training. Seeing how you appear to want to tie Kashyyyk into his story, we would recommend that perhaps he spent a lot of his time on that world, perhaps even had a wookiee as his master while still a padawan.
In addition, we’d add under skills that he understands a certain number of wookiee dialects. Spending years among them would make that easy enough to learn.Often the subject of pranks or social opposition, he was relieved when he was selected as apprentice by a Jedi named Bell Karama. By Karama's side, he honed his saber wielding abilities and got on a course of being a brutally effective duelist before being traumatzied by an unforseen torture. A mad Sith forced him to experience all the pain he'd caused others to feel through a psychic link. His master was a bit late to save him the pain, but did save his life.
Ellri? A little help here? I’m not sure how this would be possible, within the starwars universe, namely if it’s a force ability, torture droid, or chemicals. The reason I said this is I’m sure unless you're related by blood and very closely connected than Telepathy is very, very limited in what it shares. And that’s the only skill I can think of off the top of my head that would be able to produce that result you’re speaking of. Namely take Jayda. Hymo, who was her master and blood father, would have a deep Telepathic connection to Jayda but using that skill on other Sith or Jedi is more vague and could easily get jumbled. That’s how I understood it.
However, since this seems to be a key aspect to your PC, I can offer up alternatives to get a very similar result without much change.
I would suggest one of three things that could have the same result: A Sith apprentice (these fellows are the equals of Knights usually so isn’t unlikely) captured him, then either tortured him, experimented on him, or tried to turn him mad by making him witnessing experiments/suffering/and worse on innocents. The mad Sith making him actually feel, relieved, and actually experience the memories as his own seems rather out of sorts with what I’ve seen in Starwars Lore.
Exactly how did this encounter come to happen? If you want the trauma of this sort, try to find a reason for it beyond a random encounter with someone. To suggest something to tie into your wookiee plot: Have a certain telepathic connection to his master, then have the master encounter Sish, the trandoshan Sith Lord controlled by Rtron. That character is rather sadistic, so if his master did not get away or died quickly, you can be certain the agony was intense. Masters and padawans often have noticeable telepathic connections, so the emotional torture as his master is tortured would be strong. Given the trandoshan/wookiee relations, such torture is far from unlikely.At the age of seventeen he was freed of his apprenticeship, and unsurprisingly turned to a life of general seclusion in the forests of Kashyyyk, where he befriended several Wookies. He did so naturally because the Wookies proved too advanced mentally for his skill set. He never left Kashyyyk when higher orders didn't force his hand, but they did so annoyingly often.
This part might be a little harder as most knights, Xid would’ve been included in the rooster, would’ve been sent into war rather than allowed to go on their own way. I suggest he was likely spending most his time on Kashyyyk Fighting some. I don’t recall much fighting but something that comes into the realm of possibility is maybe he was tracking a key Sith apprentice and that took many years, allowing him to live isolated on the planet. Jedi couldn’t easily give him support for a single tracking mission. This would also, if you’re willing, allow him tracking skills that would aid the Jedi besides purely combative skills.
See the point further up about him being on Kashyyyk earlier than that.While Khan himself was twenty-two he encountered a boy, thirteen years in age, who'd been living among the Wookies for a few days. The youth was capable of speaking basic, but couldn't remember his own history. More unusual though, was the story told by the boy's molten red skin and tendrils hanging on his face. He was a Sith Pureblood. Quickly, Khan made a pact with the Wookies, thanks to one of them who had a convenient speech impediment that enabled him to speak basic, that they would keep the boy's existence a secret. This Sith was named Bell, and he became the secret apprentice of Khan Javari.
I like this aspect, but the probability it up to Echo and Ellri. I would image Red Sith don’t often travel outside Empire space, let alone into a wild, savage land. However, I don’t have any PCs of this race and I could be wrong. As for the speech impediment, Wookies speak through growls, yells, and more animalistic sounds so it would be too farfetched to use an animal to communicate with them? Or contact/keep a translator droid around?
Sith purebloods, especially children, don’t go outside the empire much. At that age, such a child would have been on Korriban, going through training as a Sith, as all force-sensitives in the Empire are law-bound to do.
Also, the wookiee vocal structure is physically incapable of speaking basic. We know there’s one in a few of the EU books that supposedly had such a speech impediment (Ralrracheen), it doesn’t really make sense. If they had been similar enough that a small mutation could let them speak basic easily, then they would have been able to learn to speak rough basic in the first place. Its far more logical for him to understand wookiee speech.
If you want to have such an apprentice, you need to build a strong story and reason for it. Something to explain well why whomever brought him out of the Empire would break imperial law to do so as well as explain how he got left behind and was found.When other Jedi were to come around, he concealed Bell with a helmet and forced him to keep in a cloak at all times. The years passed by and Bell eventually was taught to use a lightsaber, after much deliberation and peaceful indoctrination by Khan.
Umm, I assume he was force sensitive since he’s being taught. If Jedi visited, they would’ve sensed the boy’s talent though I’m not sure what they would’ve done. Though on a planet like Kashyyyk, there would likely be less chance of encountering other Jedi on the planet. However, Jayda and Khan are around the same age and she, chasing down Sish, was on Kashyyyk. Khan could’ve been informed of Sish and even briefly met Jayda trailing after the Trandoshan. It’s a possibly as I don’t have many Jedi who actually know her and I never said how long her tracking Sish down was, though she does kill a Wookiee when communication is a heavy barrier.
Now that he is twenty-seven years old, he has been contacted by Jedi Master Lyric Novan in response to a number of Jedi disappearances. Entrusting Bell to handle himself responsibly, Khan decided to turn his back on the declarations of the Council and Republic for the sake of his brothers in arms.
Reasons for his being contacted and his choosing to join would be useful.Personality and/or Motivation:
Khan is not lenient on his stance as a user of the Force's 'Light' side. In fact, he considers it his mission to help bring at least a few of the Sith Purebloods to the Light. He has long tried to spread justice and equality, respect for every individual. He hates no person or beast, attempting to redeem every life in his ability so they don't deserve a terrible fate at their end. However, he does hold a mighty distaste for wicked actions and qualities. When in the defense of those already innocent, he is going to be willing to take a life.
So his goal is to turn the Sith to the light, almost no matter how much they resist?Player’s long term goals:
In Star Wars there are too many species to number, or at least more than I care too. All in all there are none I can think of that are painted as dark as the Sith Purebloods, discounting the Y. Vong. Prejudice would naturally result. Khan's story is an exploration of Jedi relations with the Sith species, Nature versus Nurture. I want to have him bring a sentiment nearing sympathy for the Sith. Naturally clashing idealogically with Jedi more concretely against them.
Would he have studied what knowledge is available about that particular species, even the darker elements like the Sith Holocaust?Relations:
