Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

IntCks have no single "correct" formula. It depends a lot on setting, what level RP, whether its a new or old RP, what sort of players you seek, and of course luck. It doesn't matter how good an interest check is if the players looking at the time aren't the sort you seek.

What an interest check in general needs is something to catch the eye of the prospective players. A stylish image (again, a matter of opinion) can help here.

We also find hiders to be useful to keep it short-looking initially. Headers tend also to help. And sometimes, so too can colors.

Finally, don't give up on one. The one we're currently operating did not have blatant effects the first couple of days.
Addendenum to @Fallenreaper's words...

Just because Koren ordered the others not to follow him or whatever, its entirely up to them whether they obey.

Similarly, the challenges Navi will face, are to make the captives prove that they truly do care about escaping. Even if you as a player have no intent to have your character succeed in escaping, doesn't mean that your character doesn't want to escape. But if you truly don't want him/her to escape, just inform the GMs and we'll help make sure your interest comes to pass.

Remember, Jedi generally don't want to be Sith captives. It takes a long while to become phased by failed escape attempts. Aside from a few rare characters, most of you haven't been captive for even a small fraction of that time.
If you have any questions, ask them.
Here, PM or elsewhere matters not.
Take what time you need.
excellent.
We'come, @Sohtem.

What do you have in mind so far as character type?
no problem, @Mifuyne.
That is entirely up to you how much you try to catch up with on when. But if you wish to know most of what has happened, this might help, @Mifuyne.

If you've not noticed, @Mifuyne, Fallen is very much fond of Zabrak.

By non-human we mean species that aren't in the near-human category on the wiki.

Sole restriction we have is that the species has to be able to speak galactic basic. Echo has the restriction on no Miraluka.

Near-human is also fine, but its interesting to see new species played out, provided they make sense.

Do try to avoid those species without any significant sources. (one-shot species, for example, appearing only in one or two books/comics)
@Fallenreaper, when you're operational again and such, would you drop by IRC so review can be continued?

Its begun in Slobberoth.
