Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

Intriguing. Where at the play and pause buttons?
We'd suggest elaborating a bit on this IC. Try to figure out how he'd fit into the crew and scientists. If you want to work on a collaborative post to do so, feel free to ask?
Its blasphemy, y'hear us? Blasphemy!
Its an interesting character.

Did his studies focus on animals of that region in general, or was it especially about a specific group of animals? (mammals, arachnids, fish, lizards, insects, etc)
You express interest in Good-vs-Evil. Would you perhaps then be interested in joining a Star Wars RP that delves into the nature of the light and dark sides of the force? Where the Jedi characters are prisoners of the Sith?

We have just such an RP available that needs more Sith. You can find it linked in our signature.
Still lookin'.

Don't be afraid of the Dark Side. We have cookies.
The Langford is crewed by people from all sorts of nations, so it could be possible for there to be someone from the other US branches.
Per right now, all the Tok'ra slots are filled, but there are plenty of Tau'ri researcher slots left.
We're thinking remis, as in both being terribly lethal if used right/wrong. But then, bioweapons are more epic. Nanites are pretty boring. Besides, your physics needed aid from engineering. So, yes, checkmate. In our favor.
Physics can break the body. Bioweapons can obliterate it. Painfully. Over a long time. With no chance of reprieve.

The worst forms can do it so that it remains undetected until it is too late to stop. And if she develops the hoped-for version, it won't be traceable back to her, as the weapon will self-destruct after mission is complete. Just imagine... A small sample is ingested as part of a meal. It is unnoticeable. Over the next time period (week, month, whatever) it attacks something vital, like the kidneys, liver or such, striking slowly, breaking it. Making it fail slowly. When that is done, the virus self-destructs and is naturally destroyed by the body or purged from it the way any other waste product is. Then, a week or a month later, the person slowly weakens as the affected organ(s) slowly ceases to do its job. As a healthy individual, the body can last a while before the buildup of bad things affects daily function. Perhaps long enough for the organ(s) to fail completely. By that time, unless they have a replacement on hand then and there, it is simply too late.

As this happens weeks or even months after the original insult, most, if not all, have forgotten it. Organ failure can occur in even the healthiest individuals. There are too many things still unknown about the human genome.

Mind you, it takes more than a simple insult to get Ylva to do such to anyone... We think...
