I've been on here since before the fall, way back when I was a middle schooler. It seems a lot more slow paced on here then it once was. I'm also old now soooo maybe that is it.

OMG!!! Thanks to the Wayback Machine, I've found all my Characters, and RPs before the guild fall! Pure JOY!
And how long has Helena been queen? is she Queen of the whole merworld, or just the island?
I'm assuming she is the only ruler, as the merpeople are peaceful there is no reason nobles/royals/people would fight over titles, land, or resources. So it would be one united kingdom?
Since its a monarchy she would have gained her position after the last king/queen died, and she would have most likely been princess before hand, what was the rumors among the merworld about her absence/missing. (when she was gone during her time as a slave I mean. Since no one knows.)
And how did she escape and come back to the island/ocean?
@SinfulSkills Well Matilda has lived in Nottingham for about 4-5 years, so they could totally know each-other. What kinda ideas do you have for them knowing each other, or how they met? I'm just finishing up Matilda's bio. I'll be adding how Matilda has been apart of the robin hood band for about three weeks now. Among other stuff.

Appearance
Name Goes By - Bones or Matty Real Given Name - Matilda Bynames - Matilda of Seacourt, Matilda daughter of Augustine, Matilda the Midwife, and Matilda Winterborne. Nicknames - Matty, Tilly, Bones, and Tilda. Alias - Matthew of Banesebury, Matthew Key.
Age 21
Gender Female
Weapon of Choice Throwing Knives/Daggers?
Matilda is very daring girl, and has a thirst for adventure. She is not made for the typical quiet life of marriage, and child rearing. She stakes all her property and even her life on luck, and being clever. She is strong, impulsive, courageous, agile, and sly. Basically everything she is not suppose to be as a medieval woman. She see things as black-white, and she can be idealistic to a fault.
Her fathers name was Augustine. At three years old Augustine was left to the church as a orphan. So he was educated as a boy, and expected to take the cloth, but he met a Irish young woman named Toiréasa, they fell in love, and ran off to elope. Five sons later, Matilda was born. Two days of painful labor in late winter, during one of the worst storms of the decade, she came into the world.
Her father worked as a Apothecarist, and also was a Storyteller for their small village of Seacourt. Her mother took care of all six children; Edwin, Patrick, Alfred, Paul, Jerome, and Matilda, but she also helped her husband as a herbalist for the apothecary shoppe they ran together.
As a child, Matilda and her family lived above their apothecary shoppe. It was a cramped and cluttered home, but also one full of love. Having five older brothers, Matilda was treated as one of the boys. She only owned two skirts, and she only wore it to church (when forced or bribed by her mother). Other then that she wore her brothers hand-me-downs, and ran wild with them and other village children. Climbing trees, flinging mud, swimming in the lake, sword fighting with sticks, and wrestling around.
She was very close to her father, who she called papa. Though her father was always very busy, he always had time for his only little girl. In his spare moments, he would teach Matilda about all the medical plants, how to read, and write, and everything else he knew. At night before bed he would tell her stories he remembered from the bible, and other books he read in his youth. He instilled in her to always follow her heart and do what she thought was right. She liked to help her father in the apothecary.
When Matilda was 10, her mother decided it was high time Matilda started behaving like a young lady. But the headstrong, fiercely independent, and tomboyish girl she was, had other ideas. Traditional women's pursuits, were not her idea of fun, so in defiance she cut her long hair off. Young Matilda didn't want to just marry, have babies, and spend the rest of her life cooking and cleaning, she wanted to forge her own destiny, and do as she pleased, She wanted a adventure.
Needless to say Matilda's relationship with her mother was typically a mixture of quarrels, frustration, defiance, and aggravation, with a few loving tender moment thrown into the mess. They loved each other, but they did not understand each other. Her mom wanted Matilda to be more girlish, to care about her appearance, to wear dresses, and play with dolls. Matilda wanted her mom to accept her for who she was.
By the time she was 13, things began to mellow out between her and her mother. As Matilda started to mature, most of the village boys had more interest in stealing a kiss from her, then practicing sword fighting, or running races like she wanted to do. Thirteen and her life was changing from a wild child into a 'blossoming young lady' as her mother like to say.
When Matilda was 14 her father died, after battling a fever for over a week. It was a crushing blow to Matilda, as her father was the person she loved most in this world. The death of her father helped her bond with her mother, as they both mourned over their loss. Her oldest brother Alfred took over the apothecary, and Matilda joined him for a short time. With her father gone, money became tighter then it already had been, so her mother took work in Nottingham as a spinster. Matilda had always wanted to leave Seacourt, her small little village, so she opted to leave with her mother. She was not going to stay behind and be a burden on Alfred, who had a family of his own to take care of now.
And so began the journey to Nottingham, and the many hardships to come. Her brother Patrick also tagged along, more in search of work then anything else. Even Jerome wanted to come along for the hell of it. Only 2 days into the week long journey to Nottingham, and they were already having problems; two broken wagon wheels, and a run in with a pack of rabid wolves, that resulting in having to put down their only horse. They were basically stranded in a town called Banesebury. And to add to all that that, Banesebury was having an outbreak of pox. Of course Patrick left town as soon as he saw the first cart of dead bodies, he was a pansy when it came to plauge.
So it was just her mother, Jerome, and herself stuck in 'pox' town. With the rest of the money they bought a few nights at the Inn. Matilda's mother caught ill only two nights later, and without money to buy another horse they were stuck in Banesebury indefinably. So Jerome went and found work as a Bricklayer during the day, and a grave digger at night, so they had money to rent a room and feed themselves. Matilda tended to their mother, who was not getting any better, as the days changed to weeks. A month later their mother finally succumbed to the pox. Jerome and Matilda were on their own. They both decided to work to save up enough money so they could get to Nottingham, and rent a place. Matilda sent word to her brothers in Seacourt of their mothers passing.
She needed a job, and there was no such thing as a decent paying job for a 15 year old girl, unless she resorted to selling herself, which was something she would absolutely not do. Being a burden to Jerome was not an option. After cutting off her hair, dawning her brothers clothes, and calling herself Matthew, she finally found work at the Locksmiths, and in the stables. Acquiring lock picking skills was a side benefit of the job. Jerome and Matilda left the Inn to rent the cheaper room above the candle-maker shoppe.
They estimated that in four months they'd have enough to buy a good horse, and set off for Nottingham. But a lot happens in four months... Jerome developed a gambling problem, so all the money saved, was lost to cards games, and bets. Pretending to be a man, was more complicated then Matilda expected it to be. She missed her parents. She missed the days when her mother would braid her hair, and sing songs. She missed her father calling her his 'beautiful darling', and tell her all about medicine. She missed the days when she didn't smell like sweat and dirt. She wondered were she was heading with her life. As a child she wanted to be a knight who saved people, or an explorer who discovered new lands, and fought off assassins. But life was not panning out how she wished, as the four months turned into a year.
At 16 years old, she gave Jerome an ultimatum, he ether stopped gambling and payed his debts, or she would leave for Nottingham without him. Jerome was the brother she was closest to, but she was sick and tired of him coming home after losing all their money, or coming home beaten and bloody from not paying his dues. She had had enough with threats and fighting that came with Jerome owing money to half the town. They argued, and he marched out of the house. The next day the sheriff came knocking, Jerome was dead. After he had left during the night he got drunk, ended up in a huge brawl outside the bar, and passed out in an alley. where he died from internal bleeding. Matilda blamed herself, and considered herself a murderer of sorts, but she also wanted revenge on the ones who caused his death.
After his death everyone Jerome owed money to came to Matilda for their payment, which she refused over and over, only to get her ass beat on a weekly basis. She had only stayed in town to find out who killed Jerome, and she had found out who'd done it. It was the local moneylenders two cronies, Slim Eddie, and Franks. At first she had no idea what to do with this information, and the sheriff didn't seem to care. Then she came up with a plan, she wasn't going to kill them, though the thought had crossed her mind, no she would just steal all their money, and maybe burn their place down. She knew where they kept all the money, she had even helped install the locks to their "treasure" room. After planning the heist out she got to work. Saturday nights they were always down at the tavern drinking, so once it was dark she headed out. Getting into the place was easy, she filled up three huge bags of coins and tossed them out the window onto the cart she had waiting below. She was quick about it, and once she had all the cash in the cart outside she tossed a match onto the hay covered floors. She was done with Banesebury, and saw no reason to stay and watch the place burn. Letting her hair down, she left for Nottingham.
The four day journey to Nottingham was unpleasant, every town she passed buy she left a sack of coins in the churches donation box, gave handfuls away to beggars, and so on. She didn't want any of the money, it felt wrong having it, and she had begun to regret burning the place down, that had been a tad much. She tossed the last of the money into a field full of sheep for some shepherd to find. Once she got to Nottingham, she finally wrote her brother Alfred, on how Jerome had died, and where she was now. Coming into town she went straight to work on finding a job, as she only had enough money left for a week at the inn. The innkeeper took pity on her, and offered free room and board if she would work for him around the Inn, his last maid quit anyway to go get married. Matilda took him up on his offer, but she knew she would need to find payed work soon. So in her spare time she'd looked for one. Fortunately, she found one a few weeks later, as midwifes apprentice. Matilda had impressed 'Midwife Harriet' with her medical knowledge of plants, illness, and such, so after a long talk, she obtained the position of apprentice. The wage was nearly nothing, but she only needed money to but food, drink, and clothing.
Six months later her brother Edwin and his wife Elizabeth rode into town. Edwin always the lucky one, had received an old farm, and some land in Nottingham, after his wife's uncle passed. So they had come to run the old farm. Edwin of course insisted that Matilda come live with him and his wife. Seeing that they would need the help Matilda left the inn to live and work on the farm. Working on the farm helped out her brother a lot as he didn't have the money to hire a farmhand. Matilda kept to her apprenticeship, and helped out at the Inn for some extra money. Any spare time she had she spent shooting bow & arrows, throwing knives at trees, and practicing sword-fighting with a broom handle behind the barn.
She was 17 years old when she met Cedric. Edwin had hired him to help on the farm. They disliked each other immediately. She saw him as arrogant, and presumptuous. He was handsome, but she couldn't help wanting to roll her eyes every time he opened his mouth. He saw Matilda as stubborn, shrewd, and conceited. Basically she had mild disdain for Cedric and he was indifferent towards her. Overtime their bickering and retorts turned to playful teasing, and flirty remarks. Then one night of drinking, and a spontaneous kiss later, they were on their way to a cheeky romance.
Cedric proposed to her on her 19th birthday, and she said 'yes'. She had never thought she'd ever want to get married, but Cedric made her feel complete, he supported her, and loved her exactly for who she was. She couldn't see ever loving anyone, like she loved him. They planned to marry in a year or so, once they saved enough to have a proper wedding, and find a place to call their own.
Haha, I haven't even started working on it yet. I still have to write up politicians, write up an OOC tab, a TWK tab, and a tab on the magical rebellion

______________________________ Dr. Sylvester Maddox created the Panzer clones, and later he created the Genesis children. This RP is about them, learning what they really are, escaping the facility, and then living on the run together, as they find a way to take down Maddox Corporation, and free the others. You would play as a GM human subject (Panzer or Genesis person).
My main inspiration for this RP came from this video. Maybe it will inspire your interest. Youtube Video
GM: They have perfectly modified immune systems, and cannot get sick with any known human/animals disease.
Creation-Birth: A DNA sample is taken from the Maddox Corp DNA bank. The scientist then uses 'Pazner Cell GEN3 method' to genetically alter the DNA. Then the GM-DNA is inserted into a cleansed Human Ovum, creating a embryo that is then inseminated into a breeding cow. Nine months later, once the Panzer fetus reaches full gestation, the cow is given a c-section. You then have a little Panzer Clone baby
Development after Birth: GEN3 Panzer clones reach developmental milestones 50% faster then 'real' non-GM children. For example; at 10 months they can speak in complete sentences. At 12 month they can walk comparable to a five year old. At 14 months they can read as well as any third grader, and at 18 months, they can count to 1000 with no trouble. They are emotionally mature, comparable to an adult, but with the ignorance, innocence, curiosity, imagination, and creativity of a child.
Blood: Pazer blood is a mutated form of blood. The blood is combination of bovine and human blood groups. Though the RNA & DNA is completely human even with the GM parts.
IQ: Panzer IQs have been documented to range from 135 and above.
Other Discoveries: Mixing Genesis and Panzer blood, creates a plasma that can be used to prolong non-GM human life, and can cure diseases.
Abilities: Their abilities manifest around the age 3-5.
Other Info:
GM: They have modified immune systems. Their strengthened immune system is unlike Panzer, Genesis is susceptible to illness, but only if given major doses of the virus/bacteria. Their bodies are quick to fight off the infections that are purposefully introduce into their bodies. deadly diseases, only last a few hours or days in the Genesis system, as their Immune system cures themselves quickly
Creation-Birth: A woman in her 1st, or early 2nd trimester of pregnancy, is recruited, and taken to Marple Farm. This is were she will spend the remaining months of her pregnancy, as her unborn child's DNA is experimented on in the womb. Unlike the Panzer clones this is a completely different process, and still has no official set method, on how it should be done exactly. Though the past five years before the project ended, many more advances had been made, resulting in less stillbirths, miscarriages, and expectant mother deaths. Because there is no set method, the specific GM varies very slightly from child to child. The mother then gives birth, and raises her child for the next three year in Marple Farm. Once the Genesis child turns three years old they are separated from their bio-mother, and sent to one of the 5 facilities to live.
Development: The Genesis children develop at a almost normal rate, being only 5% faster then 'real' non-GM children.
Blood: Genesis blood is exactly like non-GM Humans blood. Types A, B, AB, and O. The only difference is Genesis blood, has a inordinate amount of ribozymes, and abnormally shaped White blood cells.
Other Discoveries: -Genesis Antibodies cannot be used to make a vaccine, or cure for Non-GM human, as they are deadly to Non-GM humans. Resulting in a strange blue rash, and extreme internal Hemorrhaging throughout the whole body, and then death.
-Mixing Genesis and Panzer blood, creates a blood plasma that can be used to prolong non-GM human life, and can cure diseases.
Abilities: Their abilities manifest around the age 4-7.

I would advise reading the history below, but it is not exactly necessary.
- April 1929 - The 26 year old genius Dr. Sylvester Maddox and his hand picked team of scientists and doctors, were given a government grant and go ahead to research human genetics, pertaining to the immune system, and disease prevention.
- August 1933 - Dr. Maddox and his team made significant advances in understanding the complexity of human genetics, and began experimentation on creating the first clone. With the idea that through manipulating the clones DNA during development, they could fight against disease, and harden immune system on a genetic level, effectively eradicating disease. But first they needed to actually be able to clone something perfectly. Thus they began work on creating the first clone.
- November 1936 - They were able to successfully create a clone, by using the DNA of Dr. Maddox pet monkey Gunther. Making an exact copy of Gunther, was an amazing scientific break though, very advanced for the time. The story was released to the press, so the public could celebrate and marvel. The backlash from the public and the churches was immediate. Who knew that boasting about playing God was not something that would be praise or accepted.
- January 1938 - After non stop outcry, and protest from the public, and other countries; The government opted to shut down Dr. Maddox's research on cloning. Dr. Maddox didn't like it, but he did as he was commanded, and stopped his research on cloning; at least publicly, as he continued his research at home in secret. He and his team changed there work to genetically altering sheep embryo, to see if it was even possible to control genetics. Splicing, and so on, researching the outcomes.
- March 1939 - The money was gone from the old grants, and no one was investing in genetic disease prevention research now that the war had officially started. So Dr. Maddox and team again changed their research to fit with the times. They began work on creating things like paralysis gas bombs, truth serums, and other such war time weapons. As the war on the Nazi's was only just beginning. The government was happy to pay for such weapons, and any other scientific grants, money, and investments, were only going towards war efforts.
- January 1940 - Skimming from the government research money Dr. Maddox kept working on his Genetic manipulation, and cloning experiments in secret, in the the privacy of his home lab. While he and his team worked on bio weaponry for the government.
- October 1941 - He graduated from using farm animals for cloning, to using unsuspecting humans. Using his medical degree, he gained a part time position as a doctor at the local hospice. Thus giving him full access to all the dying patients DNA. Using this DNA, he secretly began his work on cloning the first human being.
- December 2, 1944 - After more then 500 failures, he finally succeeded in creating the first living human clone. The clone was born by artificially inseminating a breeding cow with a modified version of the cloning experiment used to clone Gunther the monkey, that Dr. Maddox dubbed 'Panzer Cells'. Dr. Maddox decided to raise the clone baby as his own adopted son. He named him, Adam Maddox.
- July 1946 - With the war having ended in late 1945, Dr. Maddox and his team finally resumed work on there genetic disease prevention research. And he began planning how to unveil all the work he had done in secret, without getting arrested, or letting anyone know about Adam, as he had come to love the toddler as his own son, rather then another one of his experiments.
- October 1946 - Dr. Maddox was able to gain permission to continue his cloning experiments. Though all cloning research was restricted to the top secret government lab in the middle of nowhere. The research compound was, half underground, highly secured, and located 300 miles outside Denver CO in the rocky mountains. This compound would later come to be called 'The Maddox Corporation.' thought not for another 15 years. Dr. Maddox expanded his team, and began pushing them towards human cloning ideas, theorizing, and experimenting, hoping to nudge them all quickly towards what he already knew without revealing anything.
- April 1947 - Dr. Maddox and his team officially cloned the 'first' human being, using Dr. Maddox's 'Panzer Cells' theory, with an addition of scientifically manipulating the DNA that was used, to harden the immune system. The baby boy clone, was dubbed code name 'Primo' or Subject #G01B01. The ethics of it all never came into question among the compound, as Dr. Maddox and the government made sure of it. Little did they know they had just accidentally created a breed of superhumans.
- June 1947 - It was decided that 'Primo' would be raised in a temporary substitute family, like a normal child, until the age of 10, when he would come back to the compound as a full-time test subject. The makeshift family, was made up of fellow colleagues Dr. George Giles and Dr. Julie Nash, who both volunteered, and agreed to dedicate ten years as the temporary parents of 'Primo'. Dr. Giles and Dr. Nash, became John and Susan Davis of Ouray Colorado, with their newborn son Edward.
- November 1948 - Baby 'Primo' reached all developmental milestones much earlier then 'real' children. At 10 months he could speak in complete sentences. At 12 month he could walk and run comparable to a five year old. At 14 months he could read as well as any third grader, and at 18 months, he could count to 1000 with no trouble. Twenty-four more clones were born by the end of 1948, all of whom would show the same abnormal development rate. In all there were 25 Clones for the first generation.
- 1952-1953 - The five year old Edward Davis ('Primo') began to show signs of Telekinetic abilities. His IQ was 174, and he was emotionally as mature as an adult, but with the creativity, innocence, and imagination of a child. Dr. Maddox saw this a brilliant breakthrough, but he also decided to end the 'family unit' part of the project early, as it was to risky to leave 'Primo' outside the compound, and among the public. So Primo was brought into the facility, and his 'parents' resumed there old names and jobs under Dr. Maddox. --- The fact that 'Primo' could move object around in the air without touching them, did not escape the interest of the government that was funding all of Dr. Maddox's research; they come up with the idea of super soldier in a matter of seconds, and told Dr. Maddox that it was now top priority to use his 'Panzer Cell Clones' and DNA manipulation to create a breed of super soldiers; fearless, strong, fast, and lithe. Dr. Maddox had started this whole thing as a way to eradicate disease from the human species, but things were getting out of hand now that the government had taken full interest. The other 24 clones also began showing signs of Telekinetic abilities, and other such things.
- March 1954 - Test subject #G01B09, a little six year old clone girl, was given a shot of pure TB virus to see if they had successfully altered the genetics of the immune system like they had planed too. #G01B09 was completely fine, no symptoms, no infection, and no illness present. But there was also no antibodies in her blood, it was as if TB had never been injected into her system. Over a course of six months they injected subjects G01B09-G01B18 with all illnesses, viruses, and bacteria they could. Not one of them got sick.
- February 1955 - Two of the clones began to mentally deteriorate, showing signs of dementia, and amnesia. They started having seizures, and manic episodes. The two were separated from the rest of the subjects, and quarantined. By the end of the year they both had gone in and out of catatonic states, and comas, until they finally died from system failure. There was no explanation for it. As more and more tests were done on the subjects, the test became less humane. Later in the year six new clones were born, this time they had been genetically modified per Government super soldier order; generation 2.
- May 1958 - In the past four years, eight more of the Gen 1 subjects died from the strange mental deterioration as the two in 1955. Three others died during some of the inhumane test, and Dr. Julie Nash ran off with 'Primo', stealing her 'son' away from the compound. Only 8 Gen 1 subjects left, Dr. Maddox put a stop to the inhuman treatment of the them, as he had always been sickened by it, but understanding the necessity of it for science. He was getting nowhere with his immune genetic research, he was able to make the clones completely without illness, but there was no way to transfer that to the general population of the world. The goal he had been working for his whole career, was going down the drain rapidly.
- October 1958 - Gen 2 clones already four years old, resembled gen 1 with the fixed immune systems, and fast development, but that's were it stopped. They seemed to have no emotions, and were unexpressive, there intelligence was tested as high, but they could only speak in gibberish. Their skin as they aged became hard like armor. They were extremely strong, able to life 3x their body weight, and brake concrete walls with a punch, they could see in the dark, and were basically the creepiest children ever. Dr. Maddox saw them as a failure and the team agreed, many suggested 'putting them down'. The government had different ideas, as they brought in agents to teach Gen 2 how to fight, and use knives, preparing them to become secret weapons of the future.
- July 1959 - Dr. Maddox was done with helping the government, and wished to stop the clone program. He knew that the only way was to destroy everything, including the clones. His most trusted colleagues agreed and so they planed the end of everything they had been working for. On the night of August 27 the clones were herded into the quarantine room, were the doctors began the euthanasia. The body of the clones were laid side by side in the quarantine room, a jug of gasoline and a lighter ended the 'Panzer Project' as all the paperwork, research, and documentation burned with the children's bodies. --- Dr. Maddox of course wanted the government off his back, and the freedom to continue his life's work on his own terms, in secret, so two of the Gen 1 clones were secretly spared by him, without his colleagues knowledge. Two of the euthanasia shots were of a serum called 'Biocorux' and would only render the clone into a deathlike state for 12 hours. The 57 year old Dr. Maddox dragged the 11 year old clones G01B20 and G01B03 out of the quarantine room, and then went back to light the rest on fire. And as everyone watched the building burn, he hulled the two clones to his car, and drove home. He renamed the Clones. G01B03 became Eve, and G01B20 became Levi. He kept them in his basement, which had always been his lab, but two weeks before bringing in the clones as he had planned, he renovated the basement into a studio living space to keep them in, and relocated his lab into the guest bedroom.
- January 1960 - The government did not penalize Dr. Maddox or any of his team, as it all had been top secret, there was no evidence or issue that the government could pursue. On the outside life seemed to go on as if nothing had happened, but inside Dr. Maddox basement lived the two clones, Eve and Levi. Dr. Maddox bought the abandoned compound from the government, and created the 'The Maddox Corporation'. (Maddox Corp.)
- December 1961 - Maddox Corp. became a leading private research institute, and facility, owned and operated by Dr. Maddox. He hired only the best and brightest doctors, and scientist, some were even members of his old team. 75 floors above ground dedicated to scientific research in the fields of, genetics, bio-medical science, Embryology, Biochemistry, Genetic engineering, Chemistry, Epidemiology, Neurobiology, Pathology, Toxicology and the list goes on. Then there are the 10 levels underground, top secret, top clearance, top security, and all kinds of illegal. Dr. Maddox brought Eve and Levi to live there, as he started up his 'Panzer Project' again.
- March-November 1962 - Levi began to mentally deteriorate, like many of the clones before him. Dr. Maddox and his new team, began work on a finding an explanation and cure for the strange affliction. The affliction came to be called 'Leviathan Syndrome'. Months past, and Levi got worse, to the point that even if they found a cure, the damage had been done. A month before Levi finally died, they were able to develop a pill that could reduce the symptom, and prevent any recurrence, as long as you took the pill every day. Dr. Maddox started Eve on the pill when she showed the first signs of Leviathan Syndrome.
- 1964 - Dr. Julie Nash got into contact with Dr. Maddox, extremely distraught that 'Primo' now known as James Nash, had begun to show signs of the mental deterioration, that many of the other clones died from. Dr. Nash didn't want to be found by the government, as she was still on the wanted list for stealing 'official CIA government property'.(aka kidnapping a Clone). So they came to the agreement that the best place for James, and Dr. Nash was Maddox Corp. Two weeks later, he brought them into the underground facility, started James on the pill, and Dr. Nash was given a lab of her own. The bottom floor, was fixed into a home for Dr.Nash, James and Eve to live comfortably in. --- Adam Maddox now twenty years old left for Dartmouth College to pursue a degree in medicine focusing on Neurology.
- 1966 - Eve is found to be pregnant, with James's child. Dr. Maddox becomes furious with the news, and starts giving James placebo pills, causing his Leviathan Syndrome to start back up in full force. Dr. Nash has no idea, about the placebos, and is overcome with depression after James becomes rapidly ill, and dies several months later. December 4th Eve gives birth to a baby boy, who she names Ajax after the Greek hero.
- 1968 - Adam Maddox graduates and begins working for his father Dr. Maddox, he then is shown and taught about his fathers life work in cloning, and gene/DNA manipulation. Dr. Maddox begins teaching Adam how to run the Corporation. Dr. Nash, Dr. Maddox, Adam, and the team begin work on improving their control and understanding of genetic manipulation, and cloning. With the help of the new information gathered from baby Ajax's DNA, who was born from two (genetically modified) GM clone parents. And the new knowledge of Eve's DNA Flaw, they are able to make the perfect clone.
- September 1968 - Eve is now 20 years old, as her health starts progressively worsening, developing Cystic Fibrosis, Parkinson's Disease, Lou Gehrig's Disease, and Huntington's disease. The cause is her own recessive DNA releasing the genetic disorders she is a carrier of, even ones barred deep in the ancestry line of DNA. The scientist also learn that this would have happened no matter what, as there was a fatal flaw in the genetic manipulation and coding done before she was even created, in fact all of the Gen 1 & 2 clones would have most likely died before turning thirty from the gene flaw.
- June 1970 - New improved Panzer clones are born over the next ten years. Adam suggests recruiting pregnant women into a new program dubbed the 'Genesis project' where the scientist would enhance and manipulate the pregnant woman's unborn child's DNA.
- August 1970 - Facilities 1-5 are built to become the home of the Panzer clones and Genesis children. Facilities equipped with state of the art labs, medical equipment, and security. **More info on the Facilitie located in its own 'tab'.**
- 1971-1972 - The first 95 pregnant woman are recruited by the false promise of money, abortions, safety, prenatal care, fame, shelter, or what ever else they wanted; for the 'genesis project'. The pregnant woman are taken to 'Marple Farm' in middle of nowhere Illinois, to rest and relax, as Scientist experiment on their unborn babies. Unfortunately of the first 95 pregnancies, there were 46 miscarriages, and 20 stillbirths. 22 of the expecting mothers died during experimentation, and Only seven healthy living Genesis babies were born from the first recruitment of women, by the end of 1972.--- --- Marple Farms is owned by Dr. Sylvester Maddox. It resembles a kind of spa medical retreat ranch. There are five buildings. building A has a spa like atmosphere, and is the residential building for the pregnant woman. Building B is the medical building, were the experiments and births take place. Building C is more like a communal boarding house, were the mothers who have successfully given birth live with their babies, until the child turns 3. Building D is the recreational community building & cafeteria, it has things to do for entertainment; movies, broad games, Art Room, library area, Television, and gym equipment. Building E is the residential building for the live-in staff. The rest of 'Marple Farm' is pretty and green with trees and flowers. Their is also a nice veggie patch that the woman like to tend to. It is 12 miles to the nearest road, and from there 79 miles to the nearest neighbor.
- March 1972 - Eve dies, leaving behind six year old Ajax, who is sent to Facility 3, to be raise alongside other Panzer clones and Genesis children.
- 1972-1980 - Hundreds of more pregnant woman are recruited, many from other countries. Over a 8 year span, only three dozen more genesis babies are born alive and healthy. The birth-mothers are 'erased' after their child turns three years old. The child is then assigned, and transported to one of the five Facilities, to live among other Genesis Children, and Panzer clones.
--- 'Erased' as it is written in the file could mean one of many things, depending on who the overseer was at the time. During 1972 Lobotomys were preformed, and the woman after recovery where left at asylums throughout the country. 1973-1975 The overseer of the time, secretly had the woman euthanized, after harvesting there organs to sell for his own profit, and then there remains were cremated. 1976-1981 A newly developed memory erasure surgery is used on the woman, and they are then placed back in their city of origin, missing three years of there life. The side affects of the surgery varied but all woman did loose 3 to 6 years of there memories, many lost their short term memory, and abilities in language, hearing, or sight. 1982-present, the woman are flown to 'Vector island', were they can live out the rest of their life.
--- Vector Island is a private island owned by Adam Maddox and the Corporation. It has nine new apartment buildings, two old hotels, a renovated barn, and a dozen cabins, where the mothers live. There is also a theater, library, hospital, town hall, church, art gallery, park, Cemetery, a community recreation building, public pool, and a post office. All of this is located in the middle of the island, and contained within 9 foot concrete walls. The woman are prisoners, but with the freedom of living in a makeshift town. Outside the wall is surrounded by four miles of forest. And finally outside that, there is the dock, two helipads, and Vector Tower. Vector tower is where doctors/scientists/security monitor whats going on inside the wall, and help control/run the inside town. --- Everything the woman needs (food, clothes, soap, medication, blankets, paper, etc.) is given to them on a weekly basis. The 'post office' is used by the woman to special order things like; books, cassettes tapes, music records, jewelry, art supplies, etc. --- There is no contact to the outside world, no TVs or phones within the wall.
- 1974 - Sylvester Maddox journal entry: -- "The Genesis children develop at a almost normal rate, being only 5% faster then 'real' non-GM children. They have high intelligence like the Panzer Clones. Their immune system is strengthened as predicted. Unlike Panzer, Genesis is susceptible to illness, only if given major doses of the virus/bacteria. Their bodies are quick to fight off the infections that we introduce into their bodies. Deadly diseases such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, and smallpox, only last a few hours or days in the Genesis system, as their Immune system cures themselves quickly. I believe we may have finally accomplished my goal of ridding the human species of disease." -- Next Entry -- "Genesis have the antibodies necessary to create vaccines, for any disease introduced to their system. It takes 150% higher of a dosage for the Genesis systems to even register a infection within, but we can do this. I have been pondering what the offspring of a Genesis and a Non-GM would be like. None of the Genesis subjects are old enough to reproduce, but in 15 years time, we may have the first beginnings of a new breed of sickness immune humans." -- Next Entry --"It is all a failure. The genesis antibodies were taken, and made into the first vaccine, and cure for Malaria. Two dozen malaria patients were brought in for the study. After being given the vaccine, it took only an hour for there symptoms to dissipate, but they were replaced with different symptoms. A strange blue rash appeared around the injection sight, and spread to the whole body. Bleeding from the ears, mouth, nose, and eyes began. Hemorrhaging started throughout the body, and nothing could be done. By the end of the day all two dozen were dead."
- July 1976 - Dr. Sylvester Maddox dies at the age of 73, leaving the Maddox Corporation to his son Dr. Adam Maddox, and to his right hand woman Dr. Julie Nash, along with equal company control given to his protegee Dr. Howard Banner.
- January 1978 - The late Dr. Sylvester Maddox's 'Disease Immune Humans' work is put on the back burner, as the new goal it to study the Panzer Clones and Genesis Children's abilities. The new study is Dr. Banner and Dr. Nash idea. Dr Adam Maddox, wished to continue advancing on his fathers life work, but the vote was 2 to 1. Dr Adam is granted 'facility 5' and the children in it to do as he pleases.
- August 1978 - Dr. Nash retires herself from science field, and leaves her lab at Maddox Corp. She goes to 'facility 4' to run as the principle chairwoman.
- March 1980 - 'Vector Island' has been heavily overpopulated for the last year and half. Dr. Banner solution is to poisons all the medications sent to the island for the women. Effectively killing off 80% of the population of women. As qiute a bit of Maddox corps. money was being used to run the island. This was all done without the consent of Dr. Adam Maddox or Dr. Nash. The bodies were cremated, and ashes thrown into the ocean.
- May 1980 - Dr Adam Maddox finds his fathers work, and documentation on the GEN 2 Panzer clones, and the government project 'Super Soldier'. He shares this all with the team, and they use it to help in their own project. Dr. Banner sees money in creating the perfect human weapons, and secretly begins working on a new Panzer clone GM formula.
- November 1982 - Dr. Adam Maddox finds keys to a safety deposit box of his fathers. In the box he finds, his fathers secret journals that document everything that happened, and what he did from 1928 till his death. He also finds 4 case file labeled 'Primo James', "Levi", "Eve", and 'Adam'. Thus he finds out about his own heritage as the first clone, a non-GM clone. This discovery changes his whole outlook on all the work he has been doing up till now. His treatment of the Panzer clones and Genesis children, appalls him, and he begins his descent into depression, and grief. His only goal is to put a stop to the whole project, and make sure his true origins never come out. He does tell Dr. Nash about what his father did to James. Dr. Nash leaves facility 4, and goes to the government with everything she has on the Maddox Corp, she is never see again. As it turns out the government has been secretly working with Dr. Banner for the last seven years.
- June 1984 - The decision to stop creating Panzer and Genesis children is finalized after a two year debate between, Dr. Maddox and Dr. Banner. No more experiments on the pregnant woman's fetuses are done, and no more Panzer clones are to be created. The last of the pregnant woman lay in wait to give birth, to the last Genesis babies. The inseminated breeding cows, growing the infant panzer clones, are the last ones. Dr. Banner is none to happy about it, and plans on leaving Maddox Corps to work for the government, but he also does not want to abandon his projects at Maddox Corp.
- March 1985 - The last Panzer Clone is born.
- September 1985 - The last Genesis child is born.
- 1986 - Dr. Adam Maddox is found dead, after committing suicide. Leaving a note, his fathers journals, files, and the truth of everything to Ajax. Ajax never receives these items, as Dr. Banner intercepts them. With Adams death, Dr. Banner gains full control of Maddox Corps, and begins to do as he pleases.
- 1986 - Dr. Banner finds that the Genesis and Panzer children both posses a special gene. This is the gene that is responsible for the abnormal abilities such as Telekinesis. He also finds that their blood, have a inordinate amount of ribozymes. ("ribozymes are like molecular scissors that cut DNA. Scientists of Maddox Corps working on the origin of life project have produced synthetic ribozymes that are actually capable of catalyzing their own synthesis. Translation: They somehow make life." - Dr. Banner)... Dr. Banner of course wants nothing more then to also have these power, and he has ideas about obtaining immortality by using genesis blood. He begins what he called the 'Lullaby Project'.
- 1987 - The Lullaby Project is in full swing. All of the tests, experimentation, exploratory surgery, transplants, and so on have ended up killing more then half of the Genesis and Panzer Children. Of the 108 Panzer Clones only 54 are left alive, and of the 51 Genesis children only 30 remain. Dr. Banner had no care for the clones as he can just make more to use, but the Genesis children are much harder to create, as Marple Farms, and the whole pregnancy recruitment division had been shut down three years ago, and Dr. Adam Maddox was the one who ran the whole thing, Dr. Banner had no idea how to start it up again. Near the end of the year he finds that Panzer blood mixed with Genesis blood creates a positive trait plasma. This plasma when transferred into a non-GM humans bloodstream adds years to their life, and miraculously heals all ills. Essentially Dr. Banner has found the fountain of youth, and disease cure. And now he intends to get richer off it.
