@Card Captor It was something I found most interesting about your character. I got much amusement out of it when I first read it. And yes, he threw them. Teleported into the air, threw them, then teleported back. Odd move, yes, but hits harder than he can AND gives the choice to either save them or save Kiante.

Hit hard by the blasts of arcane sand, Xenon and Radon are pushed back a little. The wall of people around them closes in, with whichever people have their feet on the ground running in full sprints, until it appears as just a pile of bodies around Radon; Xenon teleported out before it could completely close. He briefly appears on the mound, grabbing two people before teleporting away, throwing them from the sky a short distance above Kiante, before teleporting back by the mound with a feral look on his face, and sweat now pouring from his body.

EDIT: It's clear that Xenon is off balance and quite weakened now, but could easily regain his strength and balance.

@Double Defend is save someone else. Take a powerful blow is to resist a hit against yourself. Also, it was a reckless move when he didn't know if they had bombs strapped to them. But it was in-character, so I can't really say no...beyond what I'm about to say to Raijinslayer. I rolled 2+3 for Take A Powerful Blow, and with no conditions marked, that means you mark potential, and say how you weather the blow. So...if you want to level up sooner and not get hit, take mine. Otherwise, if you want to roll for yourself...hope you roll low, I guess?

@Framing A Moose I'm thinking that may be the best idea...to prevent posts where too much happens.

@Raijinslayer That is...a lot of different actions. O_o Also, >"a single sentence" >Says two sentences. But yeah...try to limit the number of actions you do in the future. I'll allow it THIS TIME, but really, that is a LOT to do before anyone else has a chance to do anything.

The rolls for the abilities aren't to hit. That's done by the enemy. The rolls for the moves themselves are for Unleashing Your Powers (unless they say otherwise, but for a Nova, pretty much all of them are Unleashing Your Powers or additional effects when doing so).

For Juggling, I'll roll for you since you didn't: 2+5+Freak (2) = 9. "On a 7-9, mark a condition or the GM will tell you how the effect is unstable or temporary." If you choose the latter, I'll go ahead and edit that into my IC post with the supervillain reactions.

The use of Reality Storm is a use of Directly Engaging a Threat. Since you rolled a 7, choose one:
● resist or avoid their blows.
● take something from them.
● create an opportunity for your allies.
● impress, surprise, or frighten the opposition.

Downtown Halcyon City, 5:48 PM
City Hall.
Sunny, with a few wispy clouds.
Nothing appeared to be unusual.

Then the various people ran toward each other, all aiming to kill each other. At least, that's how it appeared at first. But then, once you eight arrived, in your first major incident, it was clear the people had no desire to kill each other. From the looks on their faces, they had no desires at all. They had, at that point, all huddled in a ring, tightly weaving their arms and legs together in so many different configurations.

In the center of the ring, a girl no older than anyone in the team. She was easily familiar to Argon: Radon. She has her legs crossed, sitting on a landing in the middle of the steps to the Hall, a smile on her face.

She has those in front of her lower themselves enough for her to be scene. "Argon~" she says in a sing-song voice, "We're here for you. I won't lie, Xenon wants you back even more than I do."

Then Xenon chooses to show himself, with a loud BAMF, appearing mid-uppercut below Argon, finishing the uppercut and poofing away, back to Radon. He says nothing, but he has a thin sheen of sweat over some of his face which he wipes off with the sleeve of his NOBLE jumpsuit.

Radon continues to speak. "You come back with us, o Argon, o my great brother, I let Xenon kill them peacefully. You don't, I let them run around killing people. Either way, they're just being normal humans, right? Not like us." The side of her face spasms as she talks, and the people surrounding her part, dragging each other across the ground with no regard. Amidst the crowd, you all catch a glimpse of the mayor and a a few visiting senators and representatives before others in the crowd cover them.

What do all of you do?

We didn't go anyway. Changed our minds (or rather, one person with a very strong will changed their minds). We had it planned for weeks. But hey, now I have a giant sushi plate in the fridge, which is about equal. That and I don't lie if I can help it.

Ignore This Rant

If I wanted to talk about how life is hard, I'd have milked that memorial service thing longer (if I even brought it up in here). Or that I have some RL things to do that could get me kicked out of this house, fired from work, blacklisted and, if I'm not particularly careful about this, hurt/killed before I have anywhere else to go, and all this based on perfectly legal discrimination (gender identity is not a protected status where I am, and the news covers it up saying "a gay man" for a transwoman if they say anything about it at all; usually they just give a little footnote like story saying "a man is found dead," more or less, MAYBE with a name). But you know, I could totally lie about seeing Deadpool a third time.

Regardless, I AM going to start this in a dramatic moment, if not in combat (which is what the game wants). Probably in combat.
I plan on using occasional comic book "noises" like BAMF and POW. Maybe even pictures. -shrug- I'll try to work on it today.

Edit: Working on the first post now. It'll be all of us together. We can decide how we split in-game. Starting with a minor villain.

I don't expect long posts all the time, btw. Really, "extra credit" if you make your post into actual webcomic pages. Because grades are important? Dunno where I'm going with that.

Regardless, potentially seeing Deadpool a 3rd time tonight, which is why I said tentative post tomorrow and not today.

@Double Going to repeat that you don't have to be in that team. The teams were just one person's suggestions. You could suggest which people Red Falcon would get along with the best.
@Raijinslayer You should update the Relationships in your sheet; the second one is still missing for both.
@Arcanaut Might as well add the Relationships.
@FantasyChic I noticed something in your Relationships: "You once hurt Doom when displaying your powers." Am I forgetting something? Or did you mean Memory (The Doomed)?
