<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
You’ve seen me. I don’t try to hide myself in the real world. You know enough to find me if you wanted.
You have too much faith in the real me.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
You’ve seen me. I don’t try to hide myself in the real world. You know enough to find me if you wanted.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
That’s not really true is it? You know who I am. You could come try to hunt me down in real life whenever you liked, if you liked. Especially now that we’ve spoken.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Anything is just "since I can" if you're reductive enough about it. It's the substance that matters. Even to a why as trivial as doing things "just for fun."
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
*Raises an eyebrow in return*
You think so?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
It is a why. As much as spite, or enjoyment are. And just as tangible.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
The satisfaction of a job well done? Nothing tangible, really.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
What else would I be thinking? You can read my mind if you want to, even. I’ll let you.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
*Smiles heartwarmingly, ever so slightly*
You know, I’m glad you’re thinking this through with me. It does show a lot of strength.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
You said you feel part of him bonded to yourself. You have no way to tap into that, and feel it out at all?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
I think you’ve got to stop thinking about it in terms of me. I could have left a while ago by now, never confronted you, and likely would have never had to meet you face to face at any point again in the future. And my life would be unchanged. For me? None of this is about me. It never was. Only one of us standing here matters right now, and it’s not me.
