To put it simply, I'm a High Schooler living outside of the U.S who happens to hold an extreme interest in 20th Century obscure historical figures such as Huey Long, Gregor Strasser, Father Charles Coughlin, and Corneliu Codreanu. I've been RPing on here on and off since I was 12 (fuck it's been awhile) on multiple accounts (I started this one when I was around 13), over that time, I've most certainly gotten better both as a writer and someone who's able to get into character. My favourite (and really only) types of RPs are NRPs because I feel like they play into my interests of politics, character creation, and historical contexts/world-building. My favourite settings are those stereotypical post-apocolypse dystopias that you would see the generic Young Adult book protagonist wander around, though I'm also open for Sci-Fi, Modern, and Historical settings. I'm not the biggest fan of Steampunk though, so it's slightly more difficult for me to get involved in those. When RPing, I prefer not to get involved into the stats side of things, as I'd much rather dive deep into the lore of both the setting I'm RPing with and the Characters/Nations I'm using for that RP in question.

Now, for more about myself, I'm a massive fan of Music in general and a Singer. My favourite band changes what seems like weekly, though I'd say I'm a massive fan of Nine Inch Nails, Turnover, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Weathers, and Smashmouth The Wombats. My favourite songs are probably Closer, by Nine Inch Nails, Knights of Cydonia, by Muse, BYOB, by System of a Down, Pumped up Kicks, by Foster The People and I Don't Wanna Know, by Weathers. My favourite games are NBA2k18 and Crusader Kings 2, though I'm also a fan of HOI4 (yay Kaiserreich) and EU4.

Database of some RPs I've ran:
Age of Rebirth (Post WW3)
The original. Was a popular NRP for it's time but eventually died out.
The Rise of Man (Fallout-like RP)
The "sequel" to Age of Rebirth. Was quite interesting building off the history of an NRP that already happened to create a new one.
Sollus Supremus (Dune-like Space Opera)
I decided to venture out of my comfort zone a bit with this one, some really generic Space Opera.
Age of Rebirth: The Rising Tide [Post-Apocolyptic NRP]
Honestly my favourite one I've ever made, though that's most likely because I've become a better writer over the past 3 years, considering I'm no longer 13, like I was when I made Age of Rebirth.

History of the Nation:

With the fall of Belfast and the perceived abandonment by the British, Ulster largely retreated into the British-made "Shelters", which dotted the border counties and larger cities across Northern Ireland. However, there was never a threat of nuclear war made on the Republic of Ireland and Dublin stayed intact. In the weeks following their closest neighbour, it became apparent that large clouds of radiation were travelling across the Irish Sea from Europe and the country was put under a state of emergency. Many Irish people fled to the deep countryside or the shelters dotted across the country.

In Ulster, shelters were largely mixed, which was a change to the usual segregation by religious lines. Despite sectarian violence being common in the early years, over time, many Protestants and Catholics made their peace and it was decided in the large Belfast Shelter that upon returning to the surface, the people of Northern Ireland would no longer seek unification with the Republic of Ireland nor the United Kingdom. Instead, the province of Ulster would become it's own state, with its own laws and customs. This idea of an independent Ulster proved popular in the Belfast Shelter, especially with the younger generations who were taught to stand against the violence of their ancestors.

When the Belfast Shelter opened its doors in 2240, it found a barren wasteland where the city of Belfast once stood. The leaders of the Vault came into contact with survivors quickly. The idea of a fully independent Ulster was popular among survivors, who had largely ignored contact with other religious groups in Northern Ireland. The Derry Vault was opened by the members of the Belfast Shelter and the Republic of Ulster was proclaimed in Derry in 2262 by delegates from across Ulster. They laid claim to the old province of Ulster, from the tip of Malins Head in Donegal to the old border of Cavan. It took years of treaties and the occasional military conquest to form the Ulsterian Republic that stand today.

The old Republic of Ireland was no longer in existance and was instead inhabited by various small city states, built around the old counties they called home. Despite facing no nuclear attack, the Republic of Ireland collapsed shortly after the rest of Europe due to the pressure of no longer having viable trading partners. The Republic of Ulster shows little interest in expanding its border beyond their current form and have largely stayed on good terms with the city states in the south.

In todays Ulster, the area around Belfast is lawless and mutated. The capital, a famous walled city on the River Foyle called Derry, is the largest city in Ulster and by some predictions, the island of Ireland. Many Ulsterians are still divided on religious lines but the old issue of British or Irish was blown up along with Stormont Castle. Many don't feel Irish or British but simply Ulsterian or rarely, Northern Irish. The various paramilitary groups that existed before the bombs fell still exist in some form or another but only serve as the military wing of the political parties. The standing army largely uses weaponry stolen from old Irish or British army bases that now lay within its borders.

The Ulster Republic views the United Kingdom with suspicion and fears future attack from the British Crown. They have had limited contact with their neighbours and view this as a blessing rather than a curse. Still largely isolationist, the Ulsterians will soon need to begin extending their diplomatic arms or face the end of their independence.

So instead of hogging this space on the map and piddling about like an idiot, I'm going to withdraw from this for now. I'll be keeping up with this with the intent of rejoining later, but for now time is stretching and I don't have any ideas anyway. My space was the reddish color in cali-mexico.

Sad to see ya go, but seeya.

History of the Nation:
The right to self rule had always plagued China from the Tibetan plateau. Whether in active resistance or in passive. But ever since its reoccupation by Chinese forces in 1950 the Himalayan kingdom had not known independence. Even as his holiness the Dalai Lama passed from this world and the lineage of the reincarnation of Gendün Druppa in the 14th century. Although gone, the Gelug sect of Tibetain Buddhism remained. Even as the bombs fell.

For those that could not retreat to protective shelters built in the highlands by the Chinese government they fled to the monasteries that dotted the Tibetan highlands and took refuge there among the monks until fire ceased falling from the sky. And when it did, all semblance of a China that was had been eradicated. And so shielded by the Himalayan mountains where what fallout existed had fallen with the rains in the southern lowlands life readopted – if somewhat unceremoniously – what it had since before even the Qing.

When the nuclear shelters finally reopened a new demography of Tibetain re-emerged. Sheltered from the brutality of the war and the climate they were a group of shelter dwellers unaccustomed to dealing with life in the mountains. But life in the shelters provided something a life tending yaks could not: they were academic.

Alliances between strong individuals and monks of the plateau effectively created and built a new bureaucracy. With these princes deriving legitimacy from the blessing of monks they named and styled themselves princes and assumed their posts to rule the harsh rocky landscape of Tibet. From the highest peaks to the lowest green valleys.

An effect of monastic influence though tempered with the secular authority derived from the princes in turn eroded many of their old-world familial names as many turned to align themselves even closer to the monks and themselves took up the name of Tibetan Monks: Gyatso. This has in turn effected inter-prince relationships by destroying dynastic identity in favor of monastic loyalty.

The first to practice this was the self-titled Prince of Lhasa, Dromtönpa Tsongkhapa; a young shelter-born Tibetan with a certain martial prowess. His adaptation of the name Gyatso earned considerable respect among the monasteries and still new to the surface others followed suit.

Dromtönpa Tsongkhapa Gyatso was ultimately assassinated by rival princes in the year 2270, hoping his son Samten Khyenpa Gyatso would prove distantly inept in his hermitage adventures. However on his return home later that winter he was horrified and astonished at his father's death. He retreated into mourning and meditation, only to come out to be crowned as the second Gyatso prince of Lhasa. And though considered philosophical, the sudden violent death of his father had brought to light a vengeful fire.

Per the rest of Tibet, the Gelug – Yellow Hat sect – of Tibetain Buddhism provides a level of lower-level social harmony. While the princes may play the pieces of political control across the highlands much of the charitable work is organized by the monks and the Lamas. Princely association is wrought through protection of these missions and to the monasteries. The operational apparatus of the Gelug has as well maintained associations with the predominately Buddhist Mongolian tribes of the north as much as through the rest of the Himalayan mountains.

Main Race:
Tibetan

Main Religion:
Tibetan Buddhism.
Sects:
Gelug (Yellow Hat)
Nyingma (Ancient Ones)
Kagyupa (Lineage of the Buddha's Word)
Sakya (Gray Earth)
Jonang

Though all the sects exist in practice in Tibet, only the Gelug is the most predominate. Focused on debate and reason the Yellow Hat school arose as a reformist movement to the older schools of Tibetan Buddhism. And since the modern era and prior to Chinese re-occupation it has been at the forefront of Tibetan politics and epitomized by Thubten and Tenzin Gyatso (the 13th and 14th Dalai Lama respectively).

Also:
Bön

Other:
Even before the bombs the Tibetan region has had poor industrial developments. Even when forced by the Chinese economic adventures in Tibet had most often failed. Although the region is poor does not put it out by their own standards and the Tibetans are a resilient, resistant people.

With the withdrawal of Chinese authority from the region the surviving Tibetan population had to re-draw its own military. The monasteries originally filled this roll with the drawing of old monastic guards – or Dob-dobs – to provide protection for themselves and the people. But with the rise of the princes there has been a much greater shift to centralized regional armies organized by them. Though these individuals may often be armed in a way considered more medieval than contemporaries in Europe. All the same, some stockpiles of still-working Chinese weapons are available to the Tibetans but their sparseness ensures that they'll only be withdrawn when the need is dire.

Also furthering Gelug habit, the nature of debate and intellectual argument has bred into the new aristocracy a craving of philosophy and debate and many princely sons do not turn themselves to war but into philosophy.

I like it, accepted.

Relatively short IC post I know, but I'm using it to hopefully set up some contacts (Ethiopia is alone on the continent, they assume other nations have formed, but they don't have definitive proof other then the Kingdom of Jerusalem)

Holy Empire of Ethiopia

The War of Gods itself was a justified conflict made to retake the territory that was stolen from Christianity by the Caliphate in World War 3. The Caliphates conquest of Egypt and the Holy land where unjustified acts that had to be punished, for if not, it would allow them to expand more without anyone challenging them.

The war itself was not meant to result in the destruction of humanity, but it was meant for the reconquest of Anatolia and the Holy land from the genocidal Caliphate, but instead of a quick war, it resulted in the temporary death of government

The city of Addis Ababa was hit the second hardest out of any City during the war, with the city that was hit the most being Istanbul, with majority of the Nukes being dropped from Ethiopia, but with the Russians and Greeks also dropping a large amount of bombs on the heathens and the holy city that they owned.

-Excerpt From an Ethiopian History Book

Zariah quietly closed the book, knowing that today would be another day of meetings and speeches promising that Ethiopia will survive. While the people seemed to believe Zariah, in his heart he didn't believe himself. He knew that one faltering of his attempts to reforge his Empire out of the ashes of Africa and the World could result in everything falling around him.

Suddenly he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in." Zariah stated.

"My Emperor, I have news on the colonies in the east and the colonies in the Southern Yemeni territories." speaked the adviser who walks in.

"And what would that be." Zariah replied.

"They are both going perfectly, the few encounters we've had with the natives have gone just fine. It seems that we might go uninterrupted into into the rest of the Yemeni territories."

"Well that's surprising, I guess my destruction of the tribes down here actually scared them enough not to move away." laughed Zariah.

The adviser nods, "But sir, that's not all, it seems like Operation Zakariah's Revenge is going just nicely, with the scout planes we sent to the Levant are stating that a civilization is there now."

"Is this civilization Turkish, or something else?"

"Well sir, that's the thing, we don't know. Accounts of Greek tribes wandering as far down as the former territories of Kenya during the 200 years of Darkness have been made, but proper proof hasn't been made."

"We can make contact with this nation now though, correct?"

"Yes sir."

Okay then, send that message out immediately.

And this will be the biggest focal point of my nation, in that Normandy is too small to occupy everything, and will rely heavily on those conquered to assimilate themselves.

Once I get myself a few more regions, I'll invent a system to randomly generate revolts, or you yourself can just say, "Ya know what, f**K Frengo. Paris just revolted." "Awww but" "NO, no, Paris is gone." ":(" ":)"

I'm easy. Will be more interested in the content of my posts and having fun, than the overarching strategical situation. I mean, this isn't Risk... is it?

No it isn't.
