D&D 5e - Asembia: Untitled Roles

Hi everyone,

My days have been pretty busy, but hope everyone is still doing good on their end. This is just a small notification that I may make a post in a few days as it has the passed the 7 days mark of when I would wait for everyone to post or not. But before I do, is anyone still planning to make a post for this round and who would would like to continue the pursuit on the escaping masked man and his backpack of a kobold? I know Orchid could catch up and it was mentioned Blue may sprint ahead to help out. Else I could have turn order end, then party and remaining people can gather their things and thoughts as they prepare their next plan and move forward from where they are.

After getting fully dressed, she wondered if there will be any other surprises for them before the reach the Majadan Empire.

@rush99999 Seeing that Angus moved onto the stairs, he would be able to see Azzen leading against the wall at the base of the stairs.

Would I be able to Sprint down the hall and catch up to Orchid and the one running?

If you are using the Sprint Rule of going 5 times your movement in a straight line. The max would let you pass the runner by about 30ft, but then your turn would end. simple moving 30ft and action dash another 30ft, you can still bonus action to use as you would be next to a nearly unconscious Azzen, Orchid would be about 30ft away, and 60ft is the runner going down the stairs.

I've forgotten, but have we been to the first floor? I've been operating on the premise that we started from the bottom and worked our way up, but this guy is heading down back where we came from, right?

3rd Floor - teleport room (everyone else)
2nd Floor - messhall and barracks (Orchid, masked man, kobold, Azzen, Celeste hiding)
1st Floor - entrance and storage room
Basement - prison

The way the kobold was on the clinging to the masked man, he had some cover which cause the eldritch blast to not hit him.

I usually had a physical notes on every NPCs health history. But seeing as Azzen's health has been a consistent 10 HP in my past posts, I'll keep it at 10 and thus only have 1 health left. The other NPCs health history in my previous posts appear to match up from previous posts.

Nadir, Seeing the lizardman treat the woman and started to heard her beginning coughing, he rushed over to her through the remaining flames. "Layla, come, we must hurry." Quickly picking her up, both left the smoking room. Aron, seeing the boy recover as well, gave a nod of thanks to the blue lizardman and stepped in to help safely carry him out of the burning room.

Angus, now in a simple room. Towards the wall to the north, that room does appear quite bare, but remains of a broken chair and old blood staining the ground. To one corner there can be found a metal collar with chains with the end nailed into the ground, parts of the ground also appears to slightly eroded, almost like some acidic burns. Then there remains a desk which drawers hastily pulled opened as if in a hurry along with some burn paper scattered. Then there are the two chests near the desk that don't appear to have a lock on the front. As Angus approached and investigated the chest exterior and surrounding, nothing appeared to be keeping it locked or protected from outside.

Down the stairs, Orchid was run fast enough to shove the masked man prone on the ground. Seeing he was down, Azzen kept his 60ft distance to be at the bottom of the stairs as he yelled "You coward!" yelling as he cast vicious mockery, but the masked man appeared able to resist the magic effects. Getting up from his prone state and beginning to move away, the kobold still clung to the man with his firebolt pistol aimed not at Orchid, but Azzen. With one shot, the firebolt shot sailed past Orchid and pierced into Azzen who screamed in pain as he almost fell unconscious. The mask man would then began moving away as we ran about 45 ft away from Orchid, beginning their descent from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor.

Sorry everyone for the bit of silence on my end. Work and life got pretty busy as a few sudden things caught my attention and had to handle. I will have a post ready in a couple hours when I wake up. But how is everyone doing so far?

With the roll of 15 and given the amount of time each round, Blue would be able to discern where the likely people were that could survive the fireball long enough to be saved vs those who were too close to the initial blast. After checking the most exposed bodies, he would fine a fared skin human boy with short brown hair who was likely a teenage years and a human woman with long dark hair who is very recognizable of sansea ancestry. Although there is a faint breath, they are badly scorched and dying out.
