You showed up.

One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.

I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.

As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.

For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.

I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.

Also, fuck you, Broken.

It's probably because joining in is actually somewhat intimidating with all the stuff going on. That or holidays caught up with them.
Are you referring to when they land with their arms outstretched and they're almost like crouched? @Darkwolfx37
Uh, so Christmas resulted in me acquiring some more games and I am afraid I got caught up with those. Neither I nor TsundereStorm are actually dead, if anybody is wondering (well, maybe storm is, we'll see).

Been working on a collab in another RP, but once I'm done with that I'll attempt to catch up and my kawaii little assassin will return! C:
Would it be possible to make an application for Robert Rotten?
Zachary Ackerson

The same young boy sits alone, surrounded by a dark forest he knows not the way out of. For as far as one can look to any direction, there are no landmarks, no ways to discriminate one tree from the next, and simply no feasible way to discover which way one would head. On top of this, the landscape was almost pitch-black while the floor was covered with roots and rocks, and branches occasionally blocking his path. The minuscule light he owned gave him but a couple feet's notice before he might trip, so he was sure that simply taking off in a direction would lead to unnecessary injury.

It was a situation that inspired no hope.

And so it had been for some time now, but it wasn't always like this. At one point, the young boy knew of an ever-present brightness. A sun that knew not but to shine. Although he sometimes believed it to be too much for him to handle, he now missed its warmth, its brilliance, and its company. The Sun had not entirely abandoned him. It merely could not keep up with its old habits. Rarely, he would be blessed its swift return and the light that came with it, before being met with an even swifter goodbye. Each time it came and went, it took longer to reappear and it was there for a shorter amount of time. He knew, given this trend, that it was only a matter of time before the Sun would eventually cease to come at all. And so, each appearance left him with a very bittersweet feeling.

In the dark, the trees seemed to take on a sinister appearance. Each one was terrifying in some way, but they mostly consisted of unsettling expressions of anger or some twisted happiness. No matter what, though, they all managed to cause the young boy distress. This was particularly true for a bigger, scarier tree. It caused the young boy to startle each time he saw it. It was the most recent addition to the forest, too. It made him realize that he wanted to escape more than ever if things were going to get even worse for him.

"Can anybody hear me?"

The young boy unsurely asked into the dark of the forest. He received no answer.

"I would like to leave this place. I'm scared."

A soft whistle of the wind was his only response.

"...please, I need help...I want to leave..."

His voice grew softer and softer after each failed attempt. Eventually, he could do naught but whimper and by then he decided it would be best to just give up. His voice would not reach anybody, he knew this.

Despite being alone in a forest, the young boy was not the only person here. In fact, there were so many people here that he could spend days and days counting and never be finished. But that did not mean he was safe. It was quite the opposite, really. Because there were so many people around him, it was much more difficult to find help. The truth of the forest he found himself in was that there was not a single tree in it -- it was a forest composed of faceless people who heeded no words of his. They frightened the young lad, ignored his pleas, and gave him no way to escape. He had begun to 'understand' that he was never going to make it out of this place, as he could no longer rely on the Sun to light his way for him. The forest was not a real place, but simply one of many ways he perceived dealing with life.

He was weak.

The boy, to some, might appear otherwise in another situation, but the truth was that the young boy could not do things on his own. He lacked true confidence in himself. He intentionally hid this under a guise of overconfidence, but in truth, there was only one thing he could really say he prided himself in, and aside from that, he felt he was rather useless. An existence lacking in purpose, and one much too cowardly to put an end to itself. All he had was his father and his skill with a bow.

Unsurprisingly, the young boy was none other than Zachary Ackerson, the Infinite Archer. A young man who earned a title many could only dream of acquiring. A man who showed no signs of doubt when nocking his arrows and striking his targets, a man who nearly bested another Infinite at their own talent, and a man who claims they could do so again.

A man, many would say, was overconfident.

A man, unknown to most, who was a coward.

There was a contradiction.

The young boy in the forest was Zachary Ackerson. But he was also a completely different person from the Infinite Archer. It would perhaps be better to say, rather than him being the Infinite Archer, that he was the one behind Zachary Ackerson. Zachary Ackerson, the Infinite Archer, was merely a mask. One that was intended to protect himself, but in reality only managed to cause him indirect harm. Foolish as he was, he did not know that this was the case, and so he chose, willingly, to continue wearing it. Both hiding his true character from the world and removing his best chance at finding his way out of this cruel forest of people.

It was here he thought he would sit until eternity. He gave up on hope and was allowing despair to take root. He had figured something out: That if Zachary Ackerson, the Infinite Archer, was able to lead a more enjoyable life than the boy stuck in the dark forest, then should he not simply remove the boy altogether? Why wear a mask when you can BE the mask? The young boy was unsure of himself, bad with other people, and plagued by a guilt for committing a terrible crime fueled by rage. The Infinite Archer, however, was confident, perhaps not the most likable person, but one many could respect. Someone strong enough to stand on their own two feet and escape the forest alone.

Yes, that was all correct. And since he was now trapped in a place much more frightening than a dark forest in reality, it would be best to give up on that young boy and let him disappear.

And so the young boy gazed one last time towards the many 'trees' in the forest, but was startled to see one that looked particularly frightening. It was the newest, the biggest, and the scariest of the 'trees' in the forest. But... the young boy did not actually feel frightened upon seeing it again. Rather than that, he had begun to notice something he hadn't noticed before:

...it was glowing.

Zachary Ackerson awoke the next morning, just as the announcement went off. He did not feel tired as he had the many nights before, despite what had happened yesterday. It was probably because, after all, that was done, he was incapable of doing much else BUT sleep. Today would be the first day since he got here that he'd slept well. And hopefully, today would be the last day he could say he'd experienced an execution.

With the current intent of getting a cup of morning joe, he left his room.

"Nobody calls me cuck!"

So... things happened. Lots of things happened, actually. At this point, Zachary was relatively sure this kind of situation was simply impossible for a person to just understand and be able to follow properly. He'd gone from a painful guilt, to determination, to simply incapable of comprehending the situation, to finally being irritated that this damned case wouldn't let him just stay emotionally stable like he was used to. On top of this, he was being personally attacked and even Jez had kinda cut him off. He wasn't made of patience. He had ground his teeth until they might as well have been dust, and finally, he snapped.

His mostly-pleasant public face had worn off, which would become quite apparent the moment he began speaking.

"Wait, can we fucking pause for half a second so I can catch up here?" the enraged archer begged. "I know I haven't exactly made this case flow smoothly myself, but where in the fuck did this whole scene come from? Mafia? We've got some kind of rival gang fight going on in this death 'game' we're already part of? What the actual fuck? I'm half-expecting Ashton Kutcher to fly out of the shadows and tell me I've been pranked or something."

Zachary exhaled rather audibly, taking a deep breath in after he did so. He then continued. "Let me go ahead and explain my earlier actions since I am not confident in this whole mafia deal being the last "twist" of this case." not allowing anybody to deny him this, he began his rant/explanation. "This clown fiesta actually makes me feel like a complete idiot for taking this case so seriously. I had been stressed out because I had realized rather early on that I had absolutely no real alibi, and that my earlier mistake had caused Marianne to die. I admit it. I panicked and then I lied about the arrows being in my room and nowhere else." Zachary rubbed his temple as if he'd a pounding headache from all of this. Another exhale and inhale later, he once again continued. "Since that whole ordeal made me realize that the sisters are pretty fucking scary when they have a gun trained on you, ready to kill, I figured I would get used to the arrows Calvin made just in case anything like that happened again. Who knows, maybe I could actually do something. I'm sorry I've never been trapped in a place like this with killer robots before. Anyways, I went ahead practiced in the dojo and had accidentally forgotten them a day ago, probably due to the fact I haven't been able to sleep soundly since I got here, but I won't use that as an excuse since it had given the killer a weapon to murder with. And, of course, it seems like they used it. I'm not going to bother elaborating on my own past because we've had enough of that for one trial and it's irrelevant, but let me tell you this: I REALLY loathe the idea of taking another life. I'd honestly probably rather die than to take an innocent life."

He hadn't stopped there, only pausing to let loose a rather sorrowful sigh, but he perked right back up again and resumed with just as much vigor as before.

"The important part of that part is that you guys understand that I had been rather emotionally compromised at the start of all of this, and I made some stupid fucking decisions. I'm sorry. Or I was. But yeah, now I really am not sure if I even should be. This all just seems like some big joke. After all, we're not acting like somebody just died and that we could be next. We're almost resorting to ad hominem, Jezebel and Cyrus are both so busy dropping verbal nukes on each other to the point where I'm worried that World War 3 is beginning, the atmosphere is crippled, and if it weren't for the fact I'd seen her body from so close, I probably wouldn't be surprised if Marianne showed up alongside Kutcher."

With a tightly-clenched fist and closed eyes, Zachary exhaled for the final time as he finally seemed to have calmed down. "I am just... done. I understand my rant just now did nothing productive to the case, but at least now hopefully you guys will take me seriously when I say that the next person who throws a wild revelation out here on the court is going to get my vote out of mere spite. I am quite literally done with this entire situation. I don't want to be here anymore what with cops questioning my manhood and politicians calling me a cuck, which is an irony I can't exactly appreciate. Let's just get things over with."

An angry, tired look on his face, Zachary glared at Shaun. "Well? Out with it. Defend yourself or have a breakdown, let's move things along."

Short enough to give headpats to.

"It's my time to shine!"

Contrary to Zach's belief mere moments ago, things had started to get even more heated during this trial. How were people even capable of registering everything being thrown back and forth? These people weren't human! Well, that's probably what the average person thought of all Infinites, now that he thought about it. Either way, he was having a difficult time processing everything, but Jez was doing all the heavy lifting for him, he needed to do something. On top of that, he couldn't disagree with that cop calling him pathetic if he didn't say anything at all. It was time. Zachary would go ahead and finally be of use to the case and to Jez specifically, so she wouldn't have to carry him through this.

"Actually, the arrows were---"

“Like, no way!"

This is actually a Jez post

Jezebel giggled confidently, completely unmoved by max's jab at her “naivety.” “Oh gosh, where do I start with this one?” She used one hand to prop up her head and the other to tap the top of her podium. “Mercy and I both didn't believe Zachary. I totally think this trial shot his nerves, but why he said something untrue we can worry about later. Mercy said that she saw him get into a scuffle with Geina, and I so remember Geina telling me about the event as well. Aren't you suspicious of him because you think he lied? Or do you think Mercy is also lying? Like how many people need to be liars to make you right? It's all a bit grody. like your logic.”

“So shaun was injected with some junk, won't refute that.” She folded her hands under his chin. “But like, do you know how long it takes for that stuff to work? Could he have injected himself and thrown the syringe somewhere? I bet it was found near his body, wasn't it?” She shrugged. “I hope you're not as amateur with that violin as you are with this.” She grinned playfully.

Jezebel looked at the carnage sisters out of the corner of her eye. “Geina, did you tell anyone else about Parker?”

“No fuckin' way! I'm gunna eat shit over just telling one of you ass holes about that! I wouldn't do shit to help any of you after what you did to Alexandria!”

"This is em-bear-assing..." Monokuma held a paw over his black eye. "You can rest assured she didn't reveal any more critical information to anyone else. Nor did the other sisters."

Geina looked around the court. “Wasn't it obvious I only told Alice Masson?”

Jezebel rubbed one of her cheeks with her index finger, rolling her eyes as she did so.“Not to Krista.”

“That was unessisary but true.”Nariko shuttered.

“This is so my favorite part of your retort. ” She was giggling. “So like, if Shaun prepared Marianne's death before hand, her buzzer is totally the last thing he'd need. With her dead, couldn't he just like walk into her room and take the buzzer with her handbook? Then he could drop it by her body before using the buzzer and junk. All he'd need to know is that I gave it to her. ” Jez broke out into laughter. “Blond is so your natural hair color isn't it? ”

“What's left to cover? This retort is totally as flimsy as a rubber chicken.” she cracked her knuckles. “Can I hear what Parker actually said? Is there a way to do that?”

"Well." The bear lifted a paw to his chin. "I believe Alice saved the entire discussion, so you should have acess to it on your E-handbook."

Jezebel decided to play back Alice Parker's testimony.

“He did not like being looked at.” She whispered. “I only knew it was a man by the sound of his voice. Perhaps I should have tried to look at him, but I was hoping to gain his trust by remaining in hiding as he left.” She laughed like a wraith.

"I knew it!” Jezebel was practically dancing behind her podium. "You see it right? She never got to see him, so it could still totally be Shaun.” Jez reached into her uniform and pulled out a device. "No trickster goes anywhere without THIS!” She held up the device. "It's the voice leviathan 9000! With it, anyone can totally sound like anyone! And so...” She pointed at Shaun. "Shaun's the other trickster, so he totally has one!”
