Vix -- A Slightly Awkward Change...
"So you finally found one, hm?" Vix inquired with a tilt of her head, curiously inspecting the stone that Jaden held from a distance. She was hesitant after all, for itnwould be a rather significant change.
The boy nodded, and asked if she'd like to evolve, and the little fox blinked for a second. At least he gave her a chance to contemplate whether or not she actually wanted to do this.
With such a stone came power, and with such power also came the improved ability to defend him against whatever might cross their path.
She had a promise to keep. One which had involved cross pinky fingers that felt like an eternity ago. This little stone would help her guarantee her end of the deal. She would make him proud, and this little glowing rock would help her insure that.
"Yes. Let's...let's do this."
She nodded then, and her trainer lightly held it out for her to touch. Gingerly, her fingertips ran across the length of the stone before clasping onto his hand, and with it the stone itself shattered!
Taking a step back then, wisps of blue light traversed through the air, swirling about her in a cerulean vortex, and then it would envelop her into a blinding azure sphere of light. Lifted skyward, while within the orb, the little Fox changed shape amorphously, only to come crashing back onto the ground in a disheveled heap of clothing and platinum hair unceremoniously.
Humorously enough, very much like how they had first met!
Yawning, and stretching, the newly evolved Ninetales rose to a stand. Blinking blearily was the smoke cleared and the world came back into focus. Comical as it were, the first thing she would notice was that the little Fox was standing almost eye to eye with Jaden.
She had gotten taller. Much taller.
Then feeling behind her back, she would notice six adorable tails she had once had had changed into something else entirely. Looking over her shoulder, Vix could see nine long, luxurious tails that seemed as soft as an cloud, gracefully curving outward from the small of her back.
What had once been fiery curls of red hair, had transformed into an elegant platinum blonde. Her ears too, had become slightly larger than they had been last.
Turning her gaze studiously to her front then, she quickly realized two things. First, the most shocking one, was that, well, she had blossomed as part of her evolution. Deviously sultry curves that had not been there in her Vulpix state were now prominently on display because of what she noticed second: her clothes didn't evolve with her. And as a result, what had fit comfortably for a Vulpix, meant that she was practically spilling out of it was a Ninetales.
Clutching the fabric together, and trying to cover herself up as best as she could, the absolutely awestriking girl looked to her master with an embarrassed smile while her cheeks began turning a vibrant shade of red.
"Jaden, mind stopping your staring, and, well, er...fetching me a new set of clothes?"
