Also, just in case you're wondering, those two non-English words she says in the post, "ξυπνώ" and "έρχομαι", are meant to be the Greek words for 'Awaken' and 'Come', respectively... though I used Google to find this out so it's possible that might be wrong.

Seeing as her weapon is Amazonian, I imagined that Kendra's magical spear (which I feel needs a name, but I have no idea what to call it) would respond to Greek words as commands. Just an idea.
After a bit of aimless wandering, Kendra’s search for the HQ was interrupted when she started hearing a loud ruckus nearby, and a sudden burst of dizziness overcame her mind, accompanied by several flashing, ghostly images.

What the hell? she thought. The image was too chaotic for her to fully identify, but she knew that trouble was dead ahead... and that it may have been the trouble Wonder Woman had warned her about. Damn, I don’t even have time to change into my armour, she thought irritably as she pulled the hood of her dress up over her head. She ran towards the commotion.

It was not long before she saw the cause: the local police station and all the area around it had seemingly become a war zone, with a multitude of young meta-humans battling against a large army of cyborgs. Well, that’s not something you see everyday, Kendra thought. It seemed she had found her teammates. She reached into her bag and pulled out a strange metal cylinder. Hoisting her bag back over her shoulder, she held the cylinder out in front of her.

“ξυπνώ!” Kendra commanded, and the cylinder slowly began to change shape, becoming thinner and taller until it was no longer a simple metal cylinder, but a spear. Time to put my past year or so of training to the test, she thought before charging towards the cyborgs. Several turned towards her as she approached and raised their guns to fire. Kendra threw the spear at the closest one, which pierced its stomach and caused several sparks of electricity to fly from its ‘wound’. Kendra felt a fiery burst in her head, courtesy of one of her more ‘short-sighted’ visions, and rolled to the side just in time to avoid a few shots. She turned back to the cyborg she had stabbed, which was still moving slightly. “Tch,” Kendra scoffed before holding out her hand. “έρχομαι!” she called. The spear began to move slightly, as if it were alive, and tried to escape the cyborg’s body, though it had a little difficulty getting through. Eventually, it got loose and went flying to its master’s hand. Kendra caught it.

“Let’s try this again,” she muttered before charging at the damaged cyborg, using her ‘danger sense’ to guide her through the other cyborgs. Once she was close enough, she threw it at her target again, this time bringing offline for good. “έρχομαι!” she called her spear back to her once more before turning to the other cyborgs.

“So…” she said, getting into a fighting stance. “Who’s next, eh?”
I'm still here... just saying. I'm just not sure what to put.

Sorry, just stepping in to say I'm dropping. There's been quite a bit of interest since I submitted my ap, but I feel as though even if the IC were to go up today, I probably wouldn't feel up to making a post in the first place. My slot would probably be better served with someone who still had interest in the game, sorry for any inconvenience! Thanks for having me though.

Sorry to see you go, Pacifista. I apologise for how slow things have been, guys. I'll try and get the intro post up soon.
Erm, hey... is this still open? I'm somewhat interested.
Name: Setsuko Anzai

Age: 15

Appearance:

Personality: Setsuko is a very anxious girl, always over-analysing every little detail and imaging the worst possible outcome of a situation and thinking about how she can avoid it, which causes her to often become upset and even frustrated, which has caused her to lash out at some people when she's pushed far enough. Most of the time, though, she's fairly quiet and tries her best to be kind an helpful to others, putting on a mature and polite persona. Due to the strong relationship with her mother, she often tries to appear motherly to other people and desires to be dependable and strong, which has led her to a little bit of a perfectionist at times, aiming to do jobs as well as she can. She's a good person, really, but has yet to learn that no one is perfect and she shouldn't push herself to her limits. She needs to learn how to smile a little more and quit being so serious.

History: Ever since she was diagnosed with Aspergers at a young age, Setsuko's parents have become very protective of their daughter, spoiling her and making sure she was happy, keeping her safe and never relying too much on her. As such, the younger Setsuko was a very happy, innocent child. However, this changed aged 13 when Setsuko's mother started to become overworked. What with looking after her daughter, taking care of the house and working, Setsuko's mother became very stressed very quickly, until she eventually suffered a nervous breakdown, causing Setsuko to start to feel like she was a burden on her mother and the rest of her family as well. Even after her mother recovered, Setsuko started worrying. It didn't help that she read online that stress could lead to someone having a heart attack, and fearing that her mother became harmed, she started trying to become more independent and less of a burden. However, this has also led her to being worried all the time, and fearing that she causes problems for others. The only outlet she's had for her feelings is Kendo, an afterschool activity which she takes part in and one of the few passions she has. She actually got into Kendo because she heard martial arts make people more confident, so she had been training herself. In some respects, it has boosted her confidence, but she still has low self-esteem.

There's space at the moment, so unless I get a sudden influx of new signups you're perfectly welcome to join.

Oh really? Thank you. I'd be happy to ^^
I'll ask: is there a space open or do you have too many characters already?

I'm not sure what's holding you guys up to be honest. I've been looking forward to reading the IC.

It's a mixture of waiting for Lost Cause to finish their CS and the fact I haven't heard from Digi in a while. He doesn't always have time to get online so I hope he'll be back at some point.

I will start working on an intro, though. I have a vague idea about where we will be starting.
I was tempted to join this but it seems like you already have enough people...
