Cheol's mask is a douche.
- Vice Principal Nina Smith -

'Whatever you need from me, Master.'

Nina once again had to suppress a shudder as Deia intruded into her mind, this time with a message. Other than Deia, only one other at this school had telepathy, and that was Isaac Archer, otherwise known as the Interceptor, and he obviously had the wisdom and decency to know when using his powers was appropriate or not. Deia was a child, a child raised under very dark circumstances, and like any child, she needed to be taught to identify what was right from what was wrong.

Before she could respond to Deia, Dorian spoke up as he went to help Cheol. “Already on it,” he grumbled. “No need to yell, vice prez.”

Nina merely smiled at his gruff manner. Dorian scooped up Cheol into his arms, carrying him the same way someone would carry a baby. “I’ll in the infirmary if you need me,” he called over his shoulder, and headed off in the direction of the infirmary.

Once he was a little way away, Nina quickly decided to address the students. "Don't worry," she said, already noticing the concerned expressions on some of the students' faces. "As some of you may already know, Dorian is not only a nurse, he also has the ability to heal others. Your classmate will be fine." She smiled. "Now, go ahead and pick your rooms. Anything on your person that you don't need to carry around, feel free to put it away. I'll give you five minutes, then I shall show you to the dining hall." With a small nod, Nina then turned away from the children and went over to Deia, hoping that the students would go about their business and she'd be able to take a moment to take Deia to the side and talk to her quietly.

Crouching down so she was eye-level with the girl, Nina gave her a smile. "Deia," she said gently. "Now I know things were very different for you at your last two... 'homes', but here, things are different. There are going to be some new rules. For one: I would appreciate it if you didn't call me 'Master'. You may call me..." She paused. What would be the best thing for a young girl, horribly broken and likely very scared, to call someone who would be looking after her?

Vice Principal seemed far too formal, and while she would be fine with terms like 'Professor' and 'Miss' from her normal students, Deia probably needed someone a lot more solid and caring than a teacher. Like a...

No. No, Nina. Don't.

Just don't.

"You may call me Nina," she said. "Unless you're in a lesson, of course, then you must call me Professor or Miss, just as your classmates would." She paused for a moment before giving a little nod. "Second: from now on, could you please use your powers sparingly? If you want to ask something or talk to someone, use your voice. As useful as your powers can be, if someone is in listening distance, it would be better to talk to them. Intruding into people's minds, well..." She grimaced slightly. "Some might not like it. You understand?"

- Cheol Akiyama -

The last thing Cheol became aware of before he completely lost consciousness was that someone seemed to be carrying him. Then he must have blacked out, because when he woke up, he was lying in a bed in a room he didn't recognise.

First thing he did was feel around for his bag, the one that held his mask. Once he felt it, he gave a sigh of relief and pushed himself up into a sitting position, his head feeling fuzzy, and it took him a moment to regain his memories. Once he did...

'Ha!' a familiar voice hissed in his mind. 'Wimp!'

Checking his surrounding and seeing he was alone, Cheol unzipped his bag and brought out the mask, lying it on his lap. "What the hell was that for?" Cheol hissed in Japanese.

'You were ignoring me!' the voice whined. 'You took me out, showed me off to your new girlfriend-"

"Kitty's not my-"

'And you stuffed me back in the bag and forgot about me!' the mask continued. 'You haven't put me on ages! Come on!'

"Now is not the appropriate time," Cheol said.

'Pfft!' the mask scoffed. 'You are so boring! Boring, boring, boring!'

Getting annoyed with the mask's attitude, Cheol started to put it back in the bag.

'Hey! Hey! Hey! What are you doing? Don't put me back in there!' the mask whined. 'HEY!'

With that last shout, Cheol suddenly felt a horrible pain splitting through his mind and he gave out a cry, accidentally knocking his mask off the bed and onto the ground, clutching his head.
Wait, whyyyyy?! xD

I have no idea. I went to bed at 4:30am. So I've had sixteen hours of sleep. D8
Me... me too.

Also, I'm sure there's some underlying reason for this, but I'm starting to wonder why exactly Herculean Academy is considered secure enough lodging for a girl with deity class super powers. I mean, isn't sticking her in with a bunch of other kids who are all constantly causing chaos... a bad idea? xD

Well, considering she's supposed to be confined to her wheelchair and straightjacket and isn't allowed to make skin contact with anyone, I suppose they're expecting Nina to keep her away from the other students.

... but Nina won't do that.
Yo all. I woke up at 8PM today 8D
I'll work on a post too, though I'm not sure whether it should be Nina AND Cheol or just Nina.

Deia is starting to scare me. O.O Although how a person fainting makes them a threat is beyond me, but I'm sure it has something to do with Deia's experiences.
I like extroverted, cheerful characters… so Melody has been, uh… an adventure for me, I guess. Mostly because she's polite but not all that cheerful, and she spends a lot of time either obsessing over Abigail, or being really super angry about someone or the other fighting with Abigail. And she's really very lonely.

She's probably the least well-adjusted of all my characters. And I get the feeling that she's not very likeable either. XD

But I don't care! I like her! And I'll hit her with character development until she eventually becomes a relatively stable human being!

I feel like a mom. And I'll probably give it half an hour, maybe. >.<

Well, it's good you like your character. Most of the time I've lost the inspiration for a roleplay is when I can't get into the character I'm supposed to be playing, but with Peggy, Cheol and surprisingly Nina are quite fun to write. Which is interesting considering when I first came up with Nina, she was pretty much only going to be there so we had someone to be the Vice Principal and spout exposition. But now she's all motherly and stuff :D
She does rather like her navel gazing. xD

Debating whether I should stay up and wait for Rune to post, or just go to bed~

Arghhhhh, I can't decide~!

Seems to be a theme with my characters. Cheol, Nina, Peggy... They all spent way more time thinking to themselves than actually doing anything.

I really hope once Wendy is introduced this trend breaks. I need to start writing louder, more extraverted characters XD

Also, I'm going to bed shortly anyway, so if you want to, no one would blame you XD
Posted. Peggy is feeling sorry for herself. Again.

Peggy, I like you, dude, but you're really going to have to develop beyond moping and feeling sorry for yourself.

With that single slap, chaos broke lose from the rest of the group, and Peggy, currently seeming to be in a state of shock from what she had just done, just watched blankly as the madness unfolded.

Jackson pulled out a guitar-like instrument and started playing a mocking song, unmistakably directed at Abigail, and Blake was now in hysterics. Avery, with a shout of “Aww… GROUP HUG~!”, gathered both Peggy and Abigail in a warm, friendly embrace, and Peggy could only imagine he was trying to act peacekeeper. Her body tensed at the contact. She got hugs from her mother often, as Erica seemed to need some reassurance throughout the day that Peggy was not only safe, but still loved and appreciated her as a mother. However, Peggy hadn't been hugged by a guy for over a year now, since her grandfather had died, it made her feel uncomfortable.

She apparently wasn't the only one.

"G-get off!" snapped Abigail. Peggy could see that she blushing as she tried to pull away from the boy. Seemed like she and Abigail ahd at least one thing in common. ”Arceus Avery, warn me next time when you're going to go touching people! Some of us don't...don't like...uhm...the whole...touching thing." After getting free of Avery's hug, Abigail turned back to Peggy. "You know," she continued. "I'm not going to waste my time on someone with such hideous taste in clothes." The words stung a little, but no where near as much as Abigail's earlier comments about Peggy's family. "I mean really, green? That is the most disgusting color in the history of mankind. I think you'd actually look better in...maybe a bright red? Perhaps a blue or a yellow." Peggy didn't say anything in return and simply watched as Abigail walked off a little away from the rest of them. Was she mad? Upset? It seemed like she might be. Melody followed soon after, and Peggy was left there, being awkwardly hugged by Avery. After a moment, Peggy pulled away from Avery's hug, feeling the shock starting to wear off a little and give way to sensations of guilt and shame.

Why had she done that? Peggy hugged hers arms to her chest, looking down at her shoes. Yes, what Abigail had said was mean, but was hitting her really the best response? She should have just sucked it up and remained silent and unmoving, should have just taken it. At worst, she should have attempted some kind of retort, not too hurtful but snappy enough. But no, Peggy'd gone and overreacted.

Big surprise.

While Peggy was moping, Jasper had been watching her trainer with half-interested expression, but seemed to be getting bored now that Peggy had gone all mopey on her and turned her attention to some leaves blowing past, carried by a gentle breeze, and went after them, batting and swiping at them with her paws in a manner that partly playful, yet partly aggressive.

Now that the chaos was slowly started to die down, Ryley, clearly the most mature of the group, stepped forward. “How about we make camp soon guys? I don’t know about you guys, but a bit of rest sounds amazing”.

Peggy didn't respond, didn't feel she had the right to speak at the moment after how she had behaved and simply shifted her weight awkwardly from foot to foot.
