I've been wanting to GM a game on the forums for a bit now, and after recently replaying through the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, I've got the idea of running a game where you play as dragons stuck in my head. And it just so happens that there is a game dedicated to just that.

Epyllion is a game made using the Powered by the Apocalypse system, meaning its rules-lite and focused more on narrative. You play as a clutch of young dragons (drakes) who are tasked by their elders to investigate rumours and solve various problems throughout the dragon lands, which in this particular campaign is actually several floating islands that have been raised above the clouds. There was an apocalyptic event many centuries ago that lead to the entire world being consumed by darkness. The dragons (as well as other magical creatures, such as fairies) were able to use their magic to take a few islands up into the sky where the darkness couldn't touch them. No one's entirely sure what has become of the rest of the world, as anyone who has attempted to go beneath the clouds has never returned.

I'm looking for 3-5 players, and please bear in mind that I'm very, very new to GMing, and have never GMed a PbtA game either. Hopefully ya'll can understand, and we can all have a fun game together.

(Btw, for everyone who might be interested but doesn't own or know the rules for Epyllion, don't worry, I will be explaining how the game works. It's also, in general, a very simple system.)
Flicker was surprised when Cascade name-dropped an elven god as her deity of worship, albeit one that had played little role in their religious education growing up. A small, forest-dwelling village of wood elves had less reason to offer prayers to an ocean god like Deep Sashelas than the other Seldarine, but there were still efforts made to make sure the youth were at least somewhat familiar with all of the pantheon. Flicker squinted slightly at Cascade, wondering if, like them, she too had elven heritage.

They didn't get the opportunity to pursue this line of inquiry, however, as the conversation moved on to their plans to aid Zephyr. Flicker shot Jormund a look when the earth genasi began chugging down copious amounts of drink, with the suggestion that they enjoy the festivities for the night. "How much have you had to drink?" they said. "Considering we're traveling tomorrow, you might want to consider slowing down a little." They were attempting to sound concerned and sensible, but their tone made their words come across as more judgemental.

When Cascade asked what everyone would like for her to carve for them, Flicker glanced over at her and shook their head slightly. "Err, nothing for me, thanks," they said. "Me and wood don't exactly... mix." They gestured to the fiery glow of their hair and eyes.
Hello everyone, wanted to let yall know I'll probably be rejoining this week.

Good to hear from you again. How are you doing, considering everything?
Vigil

Vigil had been mostly keeping to himself after the audience with the Princess. The others may have spotted him wandering around the palace from time to time, often seeming very deep in thought or just looking completely lost. Any attempts to converse with him would find him just as talkative as he had been on that first day - as in, not much at all. Responses, if he gave them at all, were short and to the point, and it always seemed as if he challenged himself to use as few words as he could to get his meaning across. Many might consider his mannerisms purposely stand-offish, but in truth, his guarded nature was simply to hide how out of his depth he felt. This land, these people with their ways so different from his own, the variety of new sights, sounds and smells. He was being given a lot of new information all at once and he had no idea what to do with any of it.

Seeking some distraction from these anxieties, Vigil decided to go seek out the two young'uns who had come to the palace on the same day he had. In particular, he wanted to talk to the behemoth boy, as he was curious to know what one of his own, especially one so young, was doing so far from the Badlands. Perhaps he'd ended up captured like Vigil himself. Perhaps some common ground could be established, and might help the behemoth warrior feel just a little less isolated in these new lands.

He'd seen the children, along with their new Noctem friend, hanging around the Palace Gardens so he decided to investigate there. As he made his way, he kept his ears alert for any strange sounds, the sudden attack from the Tralaya looming in his mind. Should another swarm attempt to fall over the city, he would not be caught off guard again.
...Oh damn, you're right.

Nothing to see here folks. Move along.

O_O

....*looks up*

Oh. So, we are!

...We totally meant to do that...

In all honesty, I've been expecting something like this to happen for a long while.

... Granted, I thought I'd be the one to make this particular goof, but here we are xP
@Guardian Angel Haruki@rush99999 Err guys...

You're posting in the wrong roleplay xP
Gonna try get a post up at some point today. Vigil's gonna go check on Gen and Regis, probably gonna ask Regis how he got to live on the streets and why he's so far from the Badlands xP
Alright, fixed. Jub missing actually works better in this case, to be honest xD
It'll be with the same attack roll of 11 if Jub does re-aim his attack at Snake B. ^^"

Alright, good to know.

Yeah, just for the sake of characterisation, I'll change it. Give me a moment.
Actually wait, reread the post... would Jub try and attack Snake B if it was grappling Brutrumukk? Not sure...
