Flicker didn't even bother trying to hold back a loud sigh of relief once they saw the enemy retreating. They weren't sure how much longer they could have kept on fighting like that. Swaying slightly on their feet, they made their way over to their companions, thankful to see than none of them were too worse for wear. Cascade in particular seemed to be still full of energy if her cheering was anything to go by. Noticing the water genasi looking over at them expectantly. "Nice work out there, rookie," Flicker said, giving her a sleepy thumbs-up.

When Jormund approached, they tensed up slightly, not sure what mood he would be in after all that fighting. However, the rage that overtaken him moments before seemed to have gone as quickly as it had arrived, and he thanked them for snapping him out of it. "Yeah, I know you'd do the same for me," Flicker responded quietly before looking down at their feet, as if slightly embarrassed. Quickly, they changed the subject. "And yeah, rest sounds pretty good at the moment..." They swayed on their feet a little more and had to take a moment to steady themselves. "I feel like I could sleep for a week."
Due to playing a lot of Elder Scrolls, I have a tendency to associate Goblins with rats. As such, I like to give goblins rodent-like features, which is where Jub's pinkish ears and buckteeth come from. XP That is as far as I felt I could go with the rodent theme without making him look out-of-place around the rest of Faerun's goblins.

Though someone else pointed out to me that he looks a little like Yoda because of the ears. That was not intentional at all.
I'll get a post up over the weekend. If anyone wants to add anything before then, go ahead.
While we wait for the next post, enjoy this quick portrait I did of Jub with his hood down, since this is how he's looked throughout Chapter 2.

Also, this is further reason Jub's getting the Enlarge/Reduce spell: make Brutrumukk easier to carry the next time he faints.
Out of everything…
The book did not consider players running away from this battle. ^^”

Maybe the writers just assumed Agdon and his crew would down the party quick enough for fleeing to not matter.

I mean, he had shown himself to be quite fast. Would it even be possible to outrun them? XP

Jub could still wriggle his way out from under Brutrumukk. XD
He'll just take half of his movement to get out from under him and stand up.

Yes, but imagine...
Jub: Alas, I have fallen. Looks like you must face the bandits without me.
Gabriel: Jub, you're still-
Jub: Truly, there is no way I could continue to aid you against these bandits.
Gabriel: Jub, if you just-
Jub: Farewell! *dramatic faint*
Gabriel: Jub I swear-
Me, before rolling a Nat 1: Looks like it's literally the bard and the wizard against all the bandits.
Me, after rolling a Nat 1: Correction, turns out it's ONLY the bard against the bandits. You got this, Gabe!
Don't prepare Feather Fall, I told myself. You won't need it any time soon, I told myself.
Goodness, I go to sleep for the evening, don't check my messages in the morning 'cause I had somewhere to be, and then finally check them this afternoon to find we're being completely destroyed xD

... and if that not bad enough, ya boi rolled a 4... which because Jub has a +3 for Acrobatics, makes that... a nat 1.
