@LuckyBlackCat I chose Absol and Arcanine because they are often overlooked and they have revered status (less so for absol). They also are two of the best pokemon that I can apply the sun and moon themes. Yes, I planned to have Sol and Luna as foils to each other. There are many layers.

@LuckyBlackCat As I learn in drama at school, characters live outside the confines of the story. They may not be the main focus but previous main characters may influence current main characters and impact the world around them. Like I said, there is much to explore.
@LuckyBlackCat I want to expand the Sol and Luna's universe but with other characters. I want to do a story on Sol's son Luke years later. After getting and reading the letters from his dad, Luke sets out to find his dad. I am also thinking of other plotlines that just have ordinary pokemon as the main character but set in the same universe. There are quite a few avenues that I want to explore.
@LuckyBlackCatYou're welcome. It is nice to share my stories with others. I hope my heavy stories do not make your emtional state worse. I wish the universe is all raindows and sunshine most of the time but my worldview is forever changed by angst, anger, violence and tragic events among other things.
@LuckyBlackCatI got so busy that I had little to no time to write. By the time I had free time, I had lost interest. Because of you, I am interested in writing again. I am already starting the next chapter of Luna's bacstory.
