After sending his goodbyes to Amber and Nyxx, Oscar recalls Skoll and Nomia and heads to the outskirts of town. Oscar releases Skoll and Nomia. "Okay. We are going to train together. Although most gym battles might be one on one, I feel that we need to learn aid each other when the time arises. At the moment, I would like to do combining moves and tagging. I will explain more once we find a wild pokemon for you to fight. RR, I would like to sit this one out for now." Roadrunner looks saddened but Oscar whispers to him. "Do not worry, You will get your turn. I want to see if these two have a thing for each other.

After waving goodbye to Mistress Hollow, Oscar replies to Solanna "I will take up your offer. I think a contest mindset can help trainer battles if you know how to apply your knowledge correctly." Oscar brushes off Nyxx's negative attitude towards contests but could not blame him. He could have his reasons. Oscar continues "I think we should train either way before the gym battle. Maybe we could watch others beforehand and gain some insight if possible."
