Current People are torn apart in the status bar ? Not me. I am heavier than iron, splitting me apart will release dangerous levels of energy.

I got money, I'll just buy the whole prison including all inmates from the state, but not before placing a bet on the financial markets that crime rate will massively increase very soon and suddenly.

Colleagues told me I'd look like a viking. I'm not sure whether that's a compliment, a warning, something derogative or all of these things.

I'd change the name from 'President' to 'Presidentist' to troll the nation. If a press conference is too noisy, I let a piece of chalk screech on an old whiteboard in front of the microphone.

Why doesn't the US government order the invasion of their own country, North America got plenty of natural resources, too! *looks at ICE and national guard activities* Oh wait, they already are...

Bio

Welcome to my profile page!

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress

And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Want to RP with me ? Shoot me a PM, but don't shoot me!

Thanks for visiting!

"Personally ? Nothing!" the gifted shouted back to the witch so he could hear him without too much effort. Asmund then looked at Mrs. Fairfield, trying to determine just by her facial expression if it would be okay to more or less briefly interrupt the lesson. Not that he really wanted it, but in his mind, seeing Vlad doing what he had just done was an obvious catastrophy waiting to happen.

"Let's go." he said towards Niall and dismounted from the draft horse. He didn't feel that confident about his riding skills that he dared to stay on it until it was right next to Vlad, and he certainly wasn't eager to let this beast Niall was sitting on to come close to him. It didn't take long for the gifted to reach the scarred man.

"I'm just worried about your safety... honestly. Wasn't Laurel's behaviour this early morning enough for a while ? Or did she soften up everything retroactively and tell you that everything was okay ?"
@Fetzen Reworking the guy into a gargoyle sounds amazingly cool. You can keep most of your stuff, simply change the toxin to “stone skin” or something. Also, I'm looking forward to having our characters clash. You'll have to invent some reason to not tear Seth to shreds though, might be a short adventure for him otherwise :P

Maybe it's a PvM server where you can't attack anyone anywhere at whatever time you want :D

Your character is a social chameleon. You could use just that on Kerylun to keep him halfway cooled. If everything fails Seth could go somewhere where my gargoyle can't. He's an almost three meter, half ton dude. There have to be such places. Or get out the broadsword and start using agility.

@Holy Soldier How does the following sound ?

Petrification - This is an active ability that doesn't last long, but grants him increased damage resistance so he can engage in melee combat and make full use of his physical prowess.
Level 1: Kerylun's upper layer of skin becomes tough as granite. It becomes very resiliant to superficial damage like cuts and scrapes. Exposure to excessive heat, cold, lightning or other elemental effects does only cause reduced damage as long as it is very short.
Level 2: The effect expands inwards, now involving the entire thickness of his skin. Damage reduction is also applied to stabbing damage like arrows or sword thrusts. Time of exposure to elemental attacks before damage reduction fails is increased.
Level 3: The effect expands further inwards, including his muscles and tendons. Damage reduction is now granted against all kind of physical attacks except very heavy blunt weapons. Exposure to elemental attacks has to be long in order to break through the damage reduction.
Level 4: Kerylun now basically has the consistency of a tank. Damage reduction is granted against all kinds of physical or elemental attacks/effects with no limit to the time of exposure.
Dalca was standing next to the large table where the map had been laid out. The map of catastrophy, so her inner thought. Not because it was of bad quality, but because it was of so good quality that the severity of their situation was all too obvious. The young, curvy woman had been one of the first to go down the stairs. What was the point of attending to a briefing when you weren't able to see the object of interest the highest ranks were talking about because there were people in front of you ? The ones who happened to let their glance range across her appearance would notice how she was scanning the parchment, one of her elbows held horizontally in belly-height to act as a support for the other arm whose fisted hand her chin was resting on.

She didn't say anything though. First of all she felt that her plans might not be fully fledged yet. Secondly, there was a question pending for Reinhardt. It would probably be considered impolite to interrupt this with own comments, even if it meant that there was a bit of silence.

Her giant brother didn't have such worries. He wasn't of high rank, so he wasn't down there with them. Instead, he was plodding through the extensive camp around the church. The general arousal had gotten him out of the improvised dining tent, he knew that it was the eve of battle. He knew that he likely wouldn't be able to sleep, so he had already strapped himself into the major parts of his gear. The decision of sending the Templars dead ahead into battle was far from reaching his ears, but wasn't this the order's usual approach ? Seis had to arrange for a suitable horse for that, so the man was on the lookout for someone who would actually be willing to give him one.

You'll see if you challenge him.

Sulley's enemy clearly is the ordinary software engineer, or maybe the hacker. There are bugs, dirty workarounds, incompatibilities, flat-out security issues like code injections or maybe just eastereggs waiting to be exploited in pratically every major program.

I'm a tad demotivated. I really don't know how to go on even for the mid-term perspective. Looks like wrong character or wrong style of playing or something I don't know.

meh...Sulley can take him :)

Doing so can result in fatal injury.

You just have to be clever...
@KuramaaaZ He's a norse gifted, halfway descending from a giant and Thor himself. He can take quite a beating (and return the favor), but he certainly would be hurt by exploding fireballs.
This fireball was powerful enough to destroy a boulder of about 200 kilogram.

Not enough for Asmund I think, if the situation should escalate :O
I hope that I'll be able to post this evening, but I can't guarantee since I'm starting to feel a bit ill.
I have to admit that the creation of An-Hasst was an unusually high effort, but I once have GM'ed a fantasy game in a small german community and have invented an entire race named 'Hasst', so the idea was readily available.

My way of finding names can roughly be divded into two different approaches:
  • Usually I take the name of something ordinary, a person, a landmark, a chemical element, a unit name in an RTS, whatever, and manipulate single characters or syllables until I come out with something that sounds good.
  • Hidden innuendos as it is the case with An-Hasst. For this case I go into old myths, folklore etc. to find a name of some creature that is really not commonly known and that has some similarities with the character.

The step I always perform afterwards is to hack it into google and check if it does NOT appear on the first page or does appear only in some weird circumstances. The top rule is to find something that is not popular and frequently used.
