Totally down for the concept. I love Initial D (and cars/racing in general), but haven't watched enough of it to be comfortable in a canon setting.

I'll put in a vote for the prime continuity, and I'll say that I'd be happy to play whatever position is necessary - one of the starship positions (need a Counselor?), side characters, a villain, whatever. Heck, I'd be happy to play nothing but throwaway characters as necessary to the plot. Doesn't matter to me.
Not what this is, but I've always wanted to see a ST RP where each player plays their own ship and crew.

Emily scored a Killtrocity, ending the Halo match. As the next match loaded, she put her controller down once more and got up to go look at Penelope's drawings. "Well, I like Miss Universe better than iDoctor," she chuckled.
Reaching Penelope's table, Emily peered over the elastic female's sketches. "Ooh, that's nice," she remarked. "I like it! Especially the lace. See, I knew I could trust your fashion sense," she concluded with a friendly grin. While she was at it, she took a look at some of the drawings for the others, including the one Vee had just put on the table. "We're going to be quite the varied group," she remarked absentmindedly and walked back to her place in front of the TV.
Jumping back into the match, she also commented on Heather's name suggestions. "Lady Voltage isn't bad," she said. "You could do something with Lightning too."
Nope, I was just waiting for more than one other person to post before I did again. Now I can! -frolics-
Scoring a double kill, Emily didn't turn from the screen but listened to the conversations around her.
"Elastigirl might have a problem with you using Elasti-Girl, Penelope," she called out jokingly. Glancing over at Felyse, she grinned as she remarked, "I'm just going to call you Chel anyway."
Her face changed to one of mock repulsion as Felyse gave suggestions. "An Apple product? Please, spare me," she replied. Grabbing the extra XBox controller before Felyse could and waving it teasingly in front of his face, she said "You can play if iDoctor goes away" with a smile indicating she was thoroughly enjoying herself but still serious about the name.
"I like Chimera though," she admitted, turning back to the screen holding out the other controller for Felyse to grab while resuming play herself with one hand. "Without the 'Lady' in front of it, I think it suits Vee nicely."
