Alright guys, we're gonna start making the IC-threads now. I'll be putting together some grtaphics, and if everything turns out alright, we start tomorrow! I'm sorry for the delay, I'm just not used to RPs of this scale. Don't think any of us are.

:D
What job did you get?
Music Combat School thing or something else?

Lol, I'd have to become one of my RP characters before that could happen.

Though, judging by where my hair is going, that could become a reality sooner than later...I've already been called a Dragonball Z character more than once.

I got a job as the horn section coach for IU's funk/soul music group. So basically I get paid 150% of what I was at Target to transcribe music, coach horn players and play in a funk band.

And no, I no longer work at Target. :D

Btw in case you forgot that everytime i said i'll get busy i actually return within one day, what I said before was extreme satire. I just forgot that kind of joke never ever worked well in this rp.

(It worked well for some of us in this RP)
Three posts aren't going to kill you, chux. -pats head-
~ Vikki ~

Vikki eyed the sea monster and the few additional people who reached the deck. Her mind was rapidly forming a plan A, B, C, etc...which were all immediately thrown off-kilter by the arrival of a second beast. "They speak too?" she muttered to herself. The others on deck were thankfully not trying anything stupid, so Vikki was able to formulate a plan.

"Oh, I heard it," Vikki called back to the blue-haired woman. "But I don't speak Loch Ness." Looking around, she took stock of what she remembered from the files she read on the people around her. A moment of calm returned, so Vikki quickly outlined the plan.

"Alright, listen up. We're probably not going to able to be able to do much to that creature from a distance so we're going to try to lure it to where we can do some more damage. We'll worry about the smaller creature later...if anyone can translate aquatic, do so. Next time it surfaces, anyone with ranged projectiles or abilities should use them immediately. That should be most of you. If any of you can agitate the water to get him to surface, do so. Then, be ready to fight it head on. Go for the mouth and eyes, and don't get eaten. Everyone bunch up around me - we don't want any stragglers to get picked off."

She drew her two katanas and kept her head on a swivel, waiting for the beast to surface.

~ Mizuki ~

"It's Kelly," Mizuki said tersely, ignoring the shapeshifter's other attempts at apology and electing to use her human name again. She noted mentally with some annoyance that Prometheus probably already knew her actual name and who/what she really was, but then again in the five years that had passed she wouldn't be surprised if everyone did. Not that she much cared. "Believe me, people have made much worse first impressions to me than you did," she replied, in a half-hearted attempt to quell the man's admittedly amusing blush. She just didn't like people blushing at her. The zenko side of her would, perhaps, but that side of her was quite dormant.

She raised her eyebrows at his gesture for her to enter first and walked in the door, hoping Prometheus wouldn't give her any trouble for doing so. After all, she was supposed to be there.
sanic

Looks like I'm going to be making Vikki posts and other ancillary, non-main canon posts to fill time in the coming weeks, then. Might be just the right time to have a Kali Rana intro/adventure story.

Since none of the other players seem to be active, once I'm finished working for the day (I got a new job :D), I'll begin drafting up some postz for you guys.

In other news, I might be GMing a roleplay soon. I know...try not to have a heart attack.

will you be able to play half-life 2 with sanic mods all over it?

I think I would literally die if I couldn't.
Also, as to upgrading comps, I'm lazy and I know that I won't be sticking to one living space for very long so a desktop won't be very... lucrative. So I'm waiting for a steady place before I get a super beefy desktop together with the boyfriend.

I know that as well, but....................my laptop is the worst thing ever and I can't finish a lot of musical projects let alone play games until I get a computer that can handle them. (My symphony's been on hold for like two years... -cries-) Thus, new PC incoming. I can't wait. :D

Which is why you should build a pc. And its not going to be outdated per se, it's going to be surpassed, because graphics cards continue to push the limits. You can still play all the games on max and run some great fps for a few years. Not to mention you can upgrade any time.

I'll be doing that once I get the money. Too many new games that I'm lusting after to just sit around with my Chromebook and terrible laptop.

i prefer quality over quantity (aka. good amount of good games rather than a fuck-festival of either shitty or half-assed games

I mean to be completely fair, I'd more readily say this as an argument in favor of consoles, what with the countless droves of terrible indy "games" made by 5 year olds with an etch-a-sketch populating the PC universe. At least when a console game shows up, you it's going to be an actually completed piece by someone who actually knows what they're doing.

All that said, I play both PC and console games on a regular basis and I think it's completely pointless to argue which one is better. They're just different, and I have no problem opening my Steam library one minute and booting up my 360, PS3, or Wii the next.
