And up next for Cinder, a really long post in which she goes to her secondary super secret base. If no one in the SE interacts with her anyway. She has plans to work on after all.
Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil Nono watched on in awe, confusion, and amusement as the strange man seemed ready to launch into some dramatic spectacle, only to be cut off by his companion. He didn't seem to appreciate that, and Nono was left wondering, just a bit, what his whole thing would have been like had he not been cut off. After all, it wasn't as if she didn't have the time. Glancing over to make sure Saber wasn't doing anything important without her, which she wasn't, Nono quickly returned her attention to Gilgamesh. She smiled happily, hands clasped in front of her as she moved about. "Thank you," she replied gratefully, taking the compliment as it was. "Onee-sama is a lot better at this than I am though," she admitted, looking back over to Saber so Gilgamesh would know who she was talking about, and also to admire her 'older sister' at the same time. "I'm not much good at fighting people." at least, in her humble opinion. Even if it was true, due to her nature. But from another's point of view, that might be hard to tell.
Cinder Fall, Cinder's spacecraft The trip back to the Shadow Compact HQ was relatively normal, which meant Cinder dealing with Charlotte's antics, which also admiring her captured relic. With the presence of the black cube she could ignore anything the Witch did, and she did just that. Already she was imagining what she needed to do next, what she could do with this item in her possession. It was just a matter of making sure no one else in the Shadow Eternity caught wind of her greater goals. The ship smoothed in past the defenses, past the hubbub and commotion, into one of the hangars for a smooth landing. With it safely coming to rest, Cinder rose from her seat, glad to be back. She had to deal with her plans, as well as....other issues. She grabbed her prize then, before looking down at Charlotte. "Thank you for your help," she told her with a slight smirk. "I'm going to go install this." That she would, though she neglected to say where she would put it. "It would only bore you, so I'll come find you when I'm done, alright?" And, as an afterthought, she pulled a vial full of yellow powder from her pocket, holding it in a loose grip. "And a treat for your good work," she added, before tossing the vial of yellow Dust over for Charlotte to munch down on before exiting the ship herself and heading into the base, prize in hand. Time to go manage this matter to it's conclusion before someone wondered what she was up to.
Misaka 10032, Client world 12262009-A (Macross) For her part, Misaka was a lot less picky, or otherwise caring, when it came to illegal activity than Kakine was. Which was a tad odd, considering their respective origins, but it might have been that she just had more of a penchant for petty theft than he did. Regardless of the reason why, she did not comment on the money that the witch produced from her hat. Asked, she nodded. "Yes," she confirmed, aware that the nature of the Sister Network was one of those things she had to keep secret, for security reasons. It was the whole reason she had a cover identity at all. She then added to that. "'Academy City is our universe of origin, a special administrative zone in Japan devoted to the development of technology and science,' Misaka explains in an instructing manner." And esper powers. But again, that was one of those secret things, since it could attract unwanted attention from the multiverse
Oh right, since Savato didn't post today are you gonna drop a post Flame? I've been wanting to make a move with Suwako/Kakine for a bit. >totally not forgetting a certain silver haired samurai
When I have a free spot amidst classes, yeah. Hopefully Savato doesn't mind, since a post by Charlotte isn't all that necessary at this point anyway. And soon the rest of you will have a cheerfully murderous witch to deal with.
Said hokey religion then proceeded to help a torpedo pull off a ninety degree turn and blow up a planet destroying death laser. So don't knock it.
It is also the same religion that allows its practitioners to manipulate one of the pervasive forces in the galaxy, dodge bullets, become immune to conventional firearms and poisons, and become immortal.
The speaker of that quote proceeded to have three children that were powerful practitioners of the mentioned hokey religion.
One of whom became the Avatar of the Light Side of the Force (Burning out his body in the process), another became a Sith Lord and caused a civil war that resulted in Admiral "Genocide is the best option" Daala becoming head of the Republic, and the third killed the second before going on to further the line that would eventually conquer the galaxy at the helm of the Empire. Fun times

whatever, bunch-a weird mumbo jumbo to me
Not my fault you can't understand the second-most straightforward mythology in the world. The Norse were a very "practical" people.
And then suddenly Loki (*Horse things*)
THomas had been in the process of dodging some of the small creatures when the warning was given by the man, but before he could answer he suddenly found himself rising into the air uncontrollably. Well, for him anyway. He didn't really have experience with the Float spell, so it took him a bit both to right himself and figure out how to move about. He sighed, but made no further of it. Then Reno performed his next trick, bringing the fires in the boiler up to a higher temperature, and a blue color, without even a second thought. At that point Thomas did slap his forehead with the palm of his hand, another sigh tearing free. "I don't think that will be a problem," he called back as he moved about in the air. "Oh. And my apologies for him. He has a habit of doing stuff without considering the consequences." Certainly unlike himself. At least there was someone else, who seemed the considerate type. It made up for being unnecessarily blamed. At the same time, he took it to mind to watch out for this Yubaba, whoever she was. Well, that matter as quickly over, he looked over to Reno. "Feel free to keep talking with your new friend," he said. "I'm gonna keep looking." With that he headed for the passage that had been revealed, determined to find the Sign and get this over with.
I'll give Savato the day to post, since he said he would. Meanwhile, begun Fate/Zero I have, and I'm enjoying how much Iskandar is the spirit of 'You Only Live Once'
Well, I'm interested, and I'll whip something up. For those of us who are pretty much unfamiliar with Fate/Zero though, what's magic like in this RP then?
... Waah this makes me want to do more things I probably shouldn't.
*Braces for Marisa stealing the MacGuffin that Misaka and Kakine need to be let back through the multiversal portal in Academy City.*
