<Snipped quote by Flamelord>

Actually the Dragonslayer is being set up in the manga specifically to slay dark immortal gods.

Is it actually at that point yet though, or still in the 'setting up' phase? I haven't read the manga.

Given how it functions, even that wouldn't work.

Though I can think of half a dozen ways to defeat her without a war of attrition, no problem. XD

I see. Well, still know nothing about Touhou, though it's ironic since I got involved in a nation crossover game on another site with a faction from the series.
I'd also like to point out that the touhou you're sending in is remarkably similar to the NPC Guts just tried to murder.

She's immortal, so death is only an inconvenience. Unless his sword can cut through 'I cannot permanently die' magic.
Miyako was far from intimidated as Elise answered in a tone that did not bode well. If she wanted to tussle with the Best Magical Girl in the World, then she would have to be prepared for thew consequences. Certainly Miyako was, and she would look forward to their own match, to decisively prove who was superior. It was the easy way in the end.

She looked over at the new arrivals as she waved, wearing a smile. Well, if Nanako didn't remind her of her own siblings at that. Now would be the perfect time to cement herself as a role model, beyond the three girls already present. That was one of the reasons behind her wish after all, and she couldn't simply ignore the opportunity when it came.

"Hello," she reiterated. "I'm Miyako Komatsu, the Best Magical Girl in the World." It didn't necessarily need to be repeated, but it was part of her image. She could hardly leave it behind when someone had arrived who didn't know it. Elise would have her turn eventually, so she would have to deal with it. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you."

Her attention diverted to Emiri, as she offered to show her where things were in this city. That couldn't hurt, and it didn't hurt either that her ego was stroked through the use of her correct title. "Sure," she agreed with a nod and a smile. "That'd be nice." If she knew where to find things, then she'd be that much more set. At the same time, she noted that Familiar summoning trick. That seemed useful

That said, Miyako grabbed a final snack as she moved to the roof, noting the rain and taking a position off to the side and out of the way. Time to see what the two girls she was watching could do. This was sure to be interesting.
Annette listened calmly as the Judgment Branch swung into action, with the inclusion of Saten and Misaka. Well, they might not be in Judgment but she supposed she couldn't disagree with the two of them helping out. It wasn't as if this was incredibly sensitive business that had to be left to people who knew what they were doing. It was simply an alley mugging, as far as they knew.

She nodded in agreement with the idea that Misaka presented, of the dog being an illusion, with Uiharu going to look as well. She knew she should keep quite, but it wasn't exactly interfering in their jobs anyway. "That seems most likely," she agreed with a nod, ignoring the idea of it being a ghost or related to the ghost somehow.

There was a pause before she elaborated further. "The fact that only she could see it would indicate that it has a mental component, and isn't simply manipulation of light to create a false image." Otherwise, the rescuer would have been able to see the dog too. Still, it would be best to see what Uiharu came up with.
I'll give [@Tinytrix] and @SevenStormStyle another day before posting.
OK, I'm going to repeat my question about places I could drop our resident White Devil in now that I'm actually posting in the right blommin' thread. >.>

Well, Nono, Saber, and Gintoki are about to have a briefing/debriefing at the top of Yggdrasil. Alternatively, Dlanor and Blake are fighting Cinder and Kiba at a museum. Those could work.
I have a feeling that I'm going to enjoy Elise's reaction when Miyako copies her teleporting trick.
Miyako nodded as the Contractor affirmed what she had said. Not, perhaps, in a direct method, but it would good enough to serve her point. She was the best, no two ways about it. And everyone here would find that out soon enough. She couldn't let herself be left behind in this struggle, as it were.

Of course, it seemed that not everyone approved, and she met Elise's gaze as the girl pointed at her, insulting her in the process. "I said it cause it's true," she replied, calmly, not rising to the bait of mutual antagonism. She knew she was for a fact, and didn't feel the need to vigorously defend her title. Not yet anyway.

A nod was given as Akame announced that they would go for the origin point, and offered training them at the same time. A nice gesture, but one that the green clad girl ultimately thought was unneeded. Which was why she was so relaxed with this all as she ate another cookie.

She shrugged then as Emiri addressed her once more. "Thanks, but like I said I'm not new at this. Just because I only recently moved here doesn't mean I'm a novice. I know what I'm doing." Perhaps she wasn't yet up to the skill level of these three, but it wasn't as if she was some rookie, at least from her point of view.

Still, she reached out to shake the girl's hand. "Sure," she added. Might as well go and see what the members of this group could do, if there was anything interesting they had skill wise. It'd be important for her own particular ability, when they found out about it.

Prepared to follow, she came to a rest as other girls came through the barrier. "Hello," she said with a wave. No one else was acting with hostility yet, so she wouldn't prepare to fight immediately. At least, not until she knew why they were here or something
@KoL
Cinder Fall, Museum

Cinder grunted as she watched her arrows have little effect on the thing that had attacked her. Well, that was a problem. It seemed that she would have to get serious if she was going to make them pay for attacking her like this.

...Or perhaps not, as she watched the traitors beat a hasty retreat, at last realizing how outgunned they were. She would have felt satisfied if it weren't for the fact that they had stolen the throne that she had come here for. Most likely without good intentions for it in mind. It was enough to get her blood heated in annoyance.

Still, she supposed she should help Kiba before the idiot got himself killed, though taking a few seconds to heal some more couldn't hurt. Those plasma burns were a nuisance at best, even with a healing ability augmented by Dust and Aura.

She'd gotten back on her feet before she noticed the interloper, and just as the sound of a gunshot rang out. Her bow split back to swords as she slashed horizontally, aiming to knock the ribbon off course with the impact whilst flipping over it at the same time in moves that sent jagged spikes of pain through her muscles in protest. A dodge was a dodge though, and she came up as she slowly advanced towards the Faunus with swords held almost casually now.

"Well well, what have we here," she mused to herself with a smirk, which was not helped by the still healing plasma burns. "Blake Belladonna." Not her version given her current garb, but it was possible that she was going easy on her. Which was a mistake, but one could always fault heroes for stupidity.

At the same time, she snapped her fingers, the trio of Beowolves returning to her side to face down Blake, snarling and eager to kill. This was going to be an interesting fight, that much she could tell.
