Yeah, I'm okay with it
Alright, everyone dealing with the Snapper has been updated. Sorry if I missed anyone to tag.

*Silently waves* I almost got a post up just before that too

Arriving, there wasn't much initially to work at. Just a giant Snapper eating a park bench, though that was admittedly impressive in its own right. As a criminal he didn't interact much with monsters and the like, since those tended to serve as useful distractions for people with actual power which meant he could do his own thing in the meanwhile without opposition. As his most recent heist showed. As a result, this was a bit of a novel experience for him, and he appreciated the opportunity to enjoy it without something trying to kill him in the meanwhile.

Then things started going downhill. He had noticed the presence of the Epic of course, but hadn't considered it a problem with the circumstances at hand. That rapidly became a problem though as a fight broke out between him and another, in an event that tugged at Finch's memory. This was really familiar, he just couldn't place it at the moment. Well, he was distracted so it was fair.

When the energy blasts started flying it made sense, and he resisted the urge to smack his forehead. Oh yeah, it was those two. He'd never seen it in person, but this sort of thing wasn't the most widely kept secret on the entire island. The bigger problem was that if they were throwing down then it was all too likely that they would hit the Snapper in the process, and then things would go straight to hell. Something Dragon Heart seemed to recognize.

With a sigh he reached into his pocket, pulling out some glass bundles and using his power to turn them into a baton of sorts. "Alright, you heard the guy who can fire lasers, back it up," he called, joining in with law enforcement to some extent. Still, at least there wasn't panic yet.

Then some idiot decided to harass the fighters, which in turn caused one of them to attack and throw a guy at the Snapper. Needless to say things did not end too well for that guy. "God damn it," he muttered as he decided to become a bit more forceful in removing the crowd. If only because the closer the crowd was, the closer he was too. "Everyone who doesn't want to end up like that guy, please move it! Now!"
I do believe you are next in the Pitstop, Platinum

Also, Flame, how were you proposing the stake out?

Well, I was thinking we either set up some video cameras and come back a day later, or we find a high point or two where we can cover the entrances and chat by phone. Unless you have a more interesting idea
I see someone has a death wish
Just to be clear the Snapper isn't actually attacking anything yet, right?

The search through the bookstore had yielded some results, as one would expect of a small place like this. It would do for some light reading late at night, or at least that was what he thought to himself as he paid for the book. Action, some romance, nothing particularly outstanding but nonetheless fun. What could he say, he was a bit of a sucker for the classics?

Exiting the building, he mused over what to do as he walked along the sidewalk. Maybe a trip to a cafe? He could use a drink. Or going to a food stand he supposed. Finch could always placate himself with the thought that he was supporting local businesses. Not that that actually meant much, since he would just as easily buy something expensive and imported when he wanted to treat himself.

Eh, he was a criminal. He could do whatever he wanted at the end of the day.

The echoing voice distracted him from his walking, with the mention of a Snapper. Of course he knew what that was, and under normal circumstances he would have no reason to ever go near there. But he was in a good mood and he was nearby. Might as well watch the pseduo-zoo show for however long it lasted.

Book in hand, he turned and headed over to Central Park. With the good day out it looked beautiful, and he didn't have to try hard to find the Snapper. It was both the place where lots of people were moving away, and where there was simultaneously people hanging around and watching whatever happened next. To be fair he did the same thing as he walked towards the site of the disturbance. Hopefully this would make for something fun in his afternoon.
I had initially thought of going after the harpies because >glass everywhere. But I might spring for the turtle instead
Well I know where I'm going. Time for some fun
"Screw using a spear gun, this girl needs a cannon!"
