>That awkward moment when you learn the religious revival movement you were headin was actually a vehicle for a Lovecraftian Abomination masquerading as a God to jack your body and take over the world

Alicia Hayden

In a matter of moments the Bastion lurched through the portal that had opened up, sweeping them away from Earth and into the Overcity. Were it not for the situation that they were currently in Alicia would have been quite impressed and eager for this. She hadn't been to the Overcity before, though Ren had told her what it was like before. If it weren't for the problem with Justine she would have loved to have the time to simply explore and see what it was like. Sadly they didn't have such a luxury, not yet.

It was a very interesting place, regardless of her current distraction. It was like they were on a massive checkerboard, a forest off in the distance and the occasional ruin of some long dead or vanished civilization. And even if she had not been here before, it did not take a genius to guess that the dark mist that diffused through the land was probably a bad thing. Tapping into her powers, Alicia let a small orb of light manifest on her hand, to let them see a bit better.

Catching sight of the blood moon, the chill in her bones was quickly distracted by their newest companion. "I still can;'t believe this was the only person you could find who was willing to help," she said to Eli while gesturing in the general direction of Libby. It was a good thing she could call on Beacon once they were in a better position, otherwise her opinion of their odds would have been much worse.

Sighing, Alicia shook her head as Helga spoke up. Glancing back towards the city itself, Alicia was taken aback by the size and the sheer crystal wall that surrounded it. "That explains the name," she muttered to herself with a respectful tone. Of course, if Jusstine hadn't gotten into there yet, whatever she was doing probably involved accomplishing exactly that task. "So, where is Justine holed up?" If the ritual was already underway then they didn't have any time to waste.
Vivian Everett

"That will be $8.79, do you need a bag with that?" 'God let it be over'

Vivian groaned inside of her own head, suffering through the boring existence that was working behind a cash register. Money changed hands and a product was bagged up, and the customer was sent on his way. Much to her relief as she waited for the next person to show up. There was no other pressing business that she had to tend to at the moment, so she could just stand there and wait for her shift to end.

This wasn't exactly the best job one could have, but it met her needs well enough in terms of money and mostly importantly of all it provided her with plenty of free time. This wasn't how her parents had imagined she would end up, and to be honest she hadn't either. Though it was still a major drain on her nerves and personality.

But at last her shift ended, and she was free to head out to her life away from customers and pretentious idiots and all that. "See you later," she called to her replacement as she swept out the door, heading into the evening light. The sweet taste of freedom embraced her, and she wasted no time in heading towards the parking lot to retrieve her motorcycle. There was a spring in her step now that she was off the clock, and Vivian was very much looking forward to enjoying her day.

The vehicle soon came into sight, a burgundy color for a lean machine that she had spent way too much time, effort, and devotion to customizing in any way that she could with her own particular skills. It was her ticket to freedom after all, and she cherished her machine as much as anyone in the same position would. Not that her parents cared about her dedication and ideals but who cared about what they thought. She hadn't talked with them in a long while regardless, and she was just glad that San Francisco was big enough to keep it that way.

She was just stowing away her things for the trip when the phone buzzed to indicate that she had a text. An eyebrow rose as she glanced at it, trying to figure out what was actually written before it clicked. At which point she went back to ignoring it in general. "Nice try, now pull another one," she muttered aloud in disbelief. Twenty years and then this? No fucking way. This was probably some drunk prank or something, that was the only explanation.

At least, up until that telepathic presence made itself known in her head. "Geez, give a girl some warning," she protested as she hopped onto her bike. "They're tough girls, I'm sure they've got it under control." Roaring the engine, she headed off into the city and in the general direction of her predetermined destination. She wasn't in any sort of hurry to leap to their defense, not for something she was confident they could handle in their sleep.
I'll try to get something up when I get off work.

Meanwhile, I'm now open to hashing out character relationships

@RabidAnubis Alright, finished my sheet. Take a peek at it and I'll get a post up in the morning if it works out
I'll try to finish up my CS tonight. Sorry for the delay (though it's mostly powers and outfits, the backstory is generally set)
Name: Vivian Everett, 'Justice Verdant'
Appearance:

Magical Girl Costume:

Powers: Gravity, chains, everything that represents Vivian's feelings of being held down and stuck in her life and expectations is something that she now brings to bear against her enemies.

Dark Pulse - Vivian launches a ball of intense gravity at a target, which captures and crushes whatever ends up inside of it under an immense gravitic pressure. Theoretically anyway, since some things can be tough enough to survive if they live long enough for it to dissipate.

Light as a Feather - Vivian is able to use her magic on herself to lessen the effect of gravity upon her, which while not giving her the ability to fly does allow her to leap great distances in a single bound.

Lockdown - This ability allows Vivian to manifest several sets of magical chains which can be used to hold a target in place or even serve as a makeshift barrier. She can only manifest a few strands before it takes serious effort to create more, limiting her ability.

Meteor Strike - Her signature move, Vivian alters the weight of her hammer, launching sky high before dropping it on them like a missile while altering the size to make the impact nigh inescapable if you aren't good at dodging. A big boom results.

Source: Vivian was given a 'trigger', which when said aloud or thought with serious enough intent, activates her powers

History with Justice Heart: Vivian was an eldest child, faced with the burdens and expectations that such a position meant. She did her best to live up to them, but soon began to buckle and crack under the pressure. She fell in with the wrong people, made some bad decisions, and was heading to a real problem when she was swept up in a magical trap set by the Dollmaster. Under Torture, magical influence, and mental manipulation she was changed and eventually recruited to become a loyal servant of the Dollmaster in her fight against Justice Heart.

Her first introduction to them was a trap she set, one she nearly succeeded in closing before they managed to retreat. She would clash with the team several times afterwards before the Dollmaster got tired of her failures and discarded her, in one last suicidal fight. Before she could be killed though she managed to find redemption through the power of friendship, joining Justice Heart as she tried to get revenge on the Dollmaster. Together they were able to defeat them, and save the city once and for all.

History after Justice Heart: With the crisis over, Vivian did her best to try and turn a new leaf. She went straight, made amends with her family, and generally tried to follow the example set by the others. It worked...for a time. Then the pressure turned back on and the support of her friends failed to materialize for one reason or another. She found herself crumbling again, and soon dropped out of college to pursue her own interests on her own. This also didn't really work out as her finances dwindled, until eventually she reconnected with the friends that she had made before her run in with the Dollmaster and the magical girl lifestyle.

So now she lives on her own in a small apartment, working at a convenience store when not running with her friends and doing more interesting things like riding motorbikes and loafing about. She's had some flings but hasn't found anyone to settle down with yet, and honestly isn't looking. She just wants the freedom to do whatever she wants, no matter how grimy and base it might be.

Most worrying, for the past several years Vivian has been having random blackouts, and she doesn't know what happens during them besides her waking up in random places that she wouldn't expect. She's seen a doctor about it but there's no explanation as of yet. But it couldn't be a problem, right?

Relationships:
Yo don't go stealing my Green Ranger schtick :V
Alright, my shot at a character

Vivian Everett, 34

Unlike the rest of the team, Vivian's entry into the affairs of magical girls was a bit different. An only child, Vivian had found herself buckling under the pressure and the expectations that they had on her. She let herself get pulled into the wrong crowd and became something of a rebel, dying her hair, cutting school, that sort of thing. It was in one of those encounters that her destiny shifted, as she became the target of a villainous plot as part of the effort to destroy the light once and for all. She was captured and experimented on, her mind twisted and given just the right push for her to sign up and join the fight - on the side of the bad guys.

So they fought. She nearly triumphed too, until a sequence of events led to her being redeemed by the Power of Friendship, and she joined the team to end things once and for all. With the power of ice, she used a mixed style to dish it out, take it, and

Years later, it turns out that old habits die hard. Her efforts to go straight and make it that way fell through before she was even done with college, leaving her to drop out and return to her rebellious ways. Which became less rebellious as time went on and she grew older, but she was no closer to being anything less than a bad girl than she had been before her time as a magical girl. She listens to her vices, drinks, smokes, has her fun, and has accepted the inevitability of fate or whatever. Maybe being with the bad guys wasn't so bad after all, since at least she got some respect.
