Mourningstar listened to Oberon and Orochi thoughtfully, doing her best impression of a nod as she continued to life the Mana Crystal up and down. It definitely would be a problem if there were just way too many goblins for them to handle. Mourningstar might be relying a little too much on some of the monsters being willing to betray their boss at a moment's notice just because they were summoned by the Demon Lord himself. "Hmm. I don't object to you coming with me Oberon but... if things do go wrong they'll be gunning for you first. Always attack the healer first, it's the most basic RPG rule." She did her best impression of a nod as she continued to think about what to do if there were just too many monsters to handle."And as for being outnumbered... hmm..." Mourningstar seemed deep in thought as she ran through all the possible scenarios that could beat superior numbers, finally settling on the best course of action with a devious grin.

"Alright, here's the plan. If we are faced with overwhelming forces and the fools dare to reject our offer then..." She let the tension build as she looked at Digbie, then Orochi, then settling on Oberon with a wide smile as she did her best nod once more and chuckled deviously. "Then we'll run away!" She said in a light and cheerful voice as her devious grin turned into a sheepish smile. She coughed lightly and nodded, shifting back into the deeper tone as she continued. "If we're clearly outnumbered then obviously we're not going to stick around. Dying once was enough for me." Suddenly Mourningstar's eyes flicked towards the bonfire as she heard the telltale sound of a Lizard spitting something at high speeds. "If you have anymore objections then you might want to make them snappy, because I think a battle is brewing as we speak."
Ami Murota

Ami continued her fiery rampage, smashing, cutting, and burning any Nightmares she saw as she cut a swathe through the black horde. When Kanbaru arrived Ami shouted something about inviting her to movie knight next time, but it was likely unheard over the sound of roaring flames and explosions as Ami fed off the energy of the fallen. It was only when the Hag showed up that Ami finally got distracted and earned her first wound of the night, a cut under her right eye from a lucky Nightmare. It wasn't so lucky after Ami grabbed it and smashed it into the ground several times with a roar of rage. "Hey bitch! Stop stealing my food!" She roared as she formed a spear of fire in her hand, getting ready to lob it at the Hag and scare her off. God damn purists, think they're so high and mighty.

A few of the other dark magical girls joined the Hag and Ami snarled, sorely tempted to throw her fire spear at her regardless. Alas her hesitation cost her as the Hag jumped away towards the industrial area, taking with her all of the Nightmares Ami had just been slaughtering. "HEY! GET BACK HERE GOD DAMNIT! YOU'RE TAKING ALL THE NIGHTMARES YOU BITCH!" Ami jumped after her, slamming onto the rooftop the Hag had just occupied and crushing a few Nightmares during her landing. A few Nightmares broke off to engage with Ami, but they were quickly dispatched as she cut all of them in half with one swing of her sword. God damn purists. Not only do they steal kills, they don't even get anything out of it. Fucking bullshit.
So this might work a little strangely considering this is the Second Holy Grail War, but I have been enamored with the idea of using Tesla in a Fate RP for a while now, so I hope you like my submission!

A little bit away from the bonfire Mourningstar suddenly stopped, prompting everyone else to stop as well. "Alright here's the deal. I have no idea how many monsters are at the bonfire nor do I know if any of them are from Earth. So here's the plan." Mourningstar floated over to a nearby mana crystal and snapped off as big of a piece as she could with her Lesser Force, floating back to the group as she thought out her plan. She didn't want to kill anyone from Earth, however all the other monsters were fair game. Unless they were intelligent enough to surrender. Mourningstar didn't plan on killing someone who was surrendering, that would be fucked up. So she needed to let the monsters know that if they plan on fighting her, they would die. She also needed to back up her threat, so everyone else was going to have to set up in strategic points in case a battle broke out. Ok, plan formed.

"Alright. So Oberon, I need you to cast Shield on me just in case things go south. I'm going to float to the bonfire by myself and begin my grand recruitment speech, hopefully convincing anyone from Earth to join us. Everyone else is going to sneak around and try to flank the monsters from different sides. When I give the signal, we all attack at once. Anyone have anything to add?" As she explained her full plan she lifted the crystal up and down in an attempt to train her Lesser Force, kinda like lifting a dumbbell. Maybe it works that way? Who knows, magic is weird. She also used Magic Analysis on her Lesser Force while she did so to see if it even did anything.

Not good enough. Mourningstar grunted and began working on her Mana Blade once more, but stopped as she noticed what Oberon was doing. She could see it in his eyes, he was analyzing her. She wasn't about to admonish him for doing it, it made sense to copy her so he could have a way to defend himself. But it did give her an idea. She worked on her Mana Blade again, this time using Magic Analysis on herself to see if the skill could provide her with any info on what she was doing. After doing so she focused even harder on thinning the blade, it needs to be razor sharp if Mourningstar wanted a true blade. Then once more, she let loose at the wall that Oberon had just fired at. Regardless of results, she was out of MP so she went to go refill at a nearby crystal.

"Alright, I have the perfect place to go eat. We're gonna head to this big bonfire I saw a few days ago, it seems like a lot of monsters seem to gather around there because of the light. They probably get attracted by it or something, some primal bullshit. Easy pickings." With that Mourningstar began to float in the general direction of the bonfire, smiling and working on her Mana Blade as she led her group. She also made sure to use Magic Analysis on anything she hadn't done so before, such as the mana crystals around and the healing herbs. What better way to grind a skill then by using it constantly right?

Mourningstar grinned as she heard the familiar pop of a notification, but the grin quickly faded as she read over the contents of said notification. Just an illusion spell, nothing solid like she wanted. It didn't matter really though, it was a new skill regardless. One to be practiced and tweaked in order to gain the results she wanted. A small silver knife formed in front of her, quickly dissipating due to her low mana storage. "If I'm to create a true item from mana alone, I will need- wait!" Another idea popped into her mind as she began to form a Mana Shot, but instead of simply letting it loose she held it in. She tried to shape the Mana Shot, form it into something sharper and thinner than the normal Mana Shot. She had been going about this the wrong way, rather than trying to invent an entirely new skill she could have been working with what she already had!

Her focus wasn't even broken by the loud grumbling of Digbie and Orochi as they came to the conclusion that they needed some food. "Alright, test run one. Mana Sword, form!" She cried out as she pushed out her altered Mana Shot. Regardless of what came out she would try to fire another Mana Sword, rushing to whatever scattered crystals were around in order to refill her mana until she got what she was shooting for. This continued for about ten more minutes before her own stomach interrupted her. "Alright soldiers. Let's go find some food!"

Mourningstar opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by monsters. It was only after a few deep seconds that she was able to stop panicking and remember where she was. Who she was. Mourningstar, a Wisp who was given a second chance by the Demon Lord. These were her... allies. Yeah, that's probably the best term. These were her allies who were following her. For how long? Who knows, but they were her allies regardless. She floated over them and out of the hole, her stomach grumbling slightly as she realized how hungry she was. The Wisp corpse from yesterday was gone, no surprise there. Must mean they are edible. Should've eaten it while she had the chance. "Oh god what am I doing?" A much lighter voice escaped her lips as she began to shiver in fear. "I'm completely alone in a new world, a baby monster, and the first thing I do is declare myself leader of a whole group of monsters strong enough to kill me. What the fuck is wrong with you Ami?" She muttered to herself as she began to pace back and forth, worrying over how today was going to go. "Alright, no backing out now. You've gotten yourself into this hole, only thing left to do is keep digging. Either you find gold or you made a nice grave. Oh god oh god oh god..."

She wasn't cut out for this type of position, the goblin probably could lead better than she could. Maybe she should just give up the position to someone else? Apologize for her behavior and fall into line. No. She didn't get her second chance at life just to live it like her original life. She was Mourningstar now. A lowly Wisp for now, but she would claw her way up the ranks. She would become a mighty general for the Demon Lord. She would be something dramatic and cool, like an Archdemon or something. Yeah, she wasn't going to be the pathetic hollow shell she was. "Alright Ami. You got this. Fake it until you make it right? Keep the ball rolling, they may not like you for now but they probably respect you a little. You saved one of their lives after all. You're trustworthy, build on that."

With her self pep-talk done she began working on her skill again. Form a sword out of magic. Focus. Imagine the blade, it's sharp edge, it's weight, the length. Now make it reality. If she ever felt low on mana she would look around for a magic crystal and use it, but otherwise she poured all of her focus into the sword. She worked on that until everyone else woke up, Digbie woke up about an hour after she did but everyone else was still asleep. Digbie got right back to digging, weird little thing. Maybe he sensed something, who knows. She made sure to do a quick Magic Analysis on him while he was digging just to see what he was up to, but right after that she got right back to her skill. Be the sword. Her magic is the sword. The sword is in you, now you just have to bring it out.
Ami Murota

Ami walked out of the donut store with a fairly content smile on her face, holding a donut with red frosting in one hand and a large box filled with other miscellaneous donuts in the other. Sweets were one of her few joys nowadays, so she made sure to indulge as often as possible. She had made some good money last night, a dollar store lost power. This meant their cameras were offline too, so Ami took full advantage of that. Cleaned out the whole store, made a good thousand dollars in the process. She had enough to pay rent and utilities for the month and splurge on sweets, so today was a good day.

As she walked back home she felt her phone buzz in her pocket, but her hands were full. Ami frowned as she pondered the conundrum she faced, before shrugging and sticking the whole donut in her mouth. Delicious. With her sticky fingers she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, failing to type in her code properly the first few times before finally succeeding on the third attempt. Her good mood suddenly plummeted as she saw the sender of the text. Looks like she wasn't going to be getting any rest tonight. Ami sighed deeply, and then proceeded to start choking as she accidentally breathed in some of her donut. She was good a few seconds later as she gasped for air, swallowing the rest of the donut dry so she didn't choke again.

Ami arrived back at her apartment around 5, tossing the half empty box of donuts on a table filled with clutter as she undressed. Clothes were thrown about everywhere as she tried to find a clean pair of clothes to wear for the night, eventually settling on something that didn't smell at the very least. She was gonna have to do laundry soon too, within the next few days at the least. After pulling on a cute black t-shirt and some similarly dark cargo pants, she threw on a pair of leather gloves and grabbed her box of donuts again. Time to head out. To a restaurant that is, she wasn't showing up at the meeting spot until she absolutely had to.

A few hours later and one dinner at a cafe later she was heading into a shady back alley to get changed again. The tattoo on her back burned as a black flame began to cover her body, armor forming over her as she drew her sword from thin air. Less than five seconds later she was battle ready as she leapt upwards kicking off the walls of the alley to ascend to the roofs. All the while holding her box of donuts, now nearly completely empty.

Ami chewed her donut thoroughly as she watched the mascot from above, sword stabbed into the rooftop as she swallowed her last bite and let out a content sigh as she tossed the box onto the streets below. It was particularly cold tonight thanks to the Nightmares they were hunting, not that it bothered Ami. She always stayed nice and toasty while she was transformed, an unintended but greatly appreciated benefit of her magic. Her partner was running late again, or maybe she was already here and she just didn't want to reveal herself. It didn't really matter, all that mattered was the prey that fast approached. Ami grabbed the handle of her blade and roughly yanked it out of the roof of the building they were standing on, gouging out a good amount of stone as she hefted the mighty sword over her shoulder.

Ami took a few steps back and grinned, before running towards the edge of the roof at full speed. As she pushed off of the ledge a pillar of flame erupted beneath her feet, scorching the rooftop and catapulting her towards the swarm of Nightmares that were all looking directly at their friendly little mascot. Weird little shit, but it got the job done. She slammed on top of a Nightmare roughly, splattering it all over her as she crushed it beneath the weight of her armor and sword. Then she looked up at the rest of the horde with a manic smile. "These are my rooftops assholes!" She cried out as she swept her sword at the mask of a Nightmare, flames bursting forth to immolate the crowd that lay before her.
