I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

Bio

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

Even if you don't feel old, this makes us nerds feel old.

What is it, you may ask?

Well, 9 Years ago on Feb. 21, 2005, a little show called Avatar: The Last Airbender appeared on TV. Now 9 years later the series has had a spin-off, a crappy movie, various comics, and hundreds of cosplayers at Comic-Cons across the globe.

Just let that sink in... 9 years ago. What sad is I've seen every episode, but one in the original series, on or before it's premiere date.

Then she has the shortest arms, and ridiculously long legs... or she's wearing heels.
-Sorry, but it looks like Weiss is actually somehow younger than Ruby.

See, my source is the RWBY-wiki, and Monty's footnotes.

And the dwarfs are taller than her.
I suppose it is safe for me to assume the seasonal-roads will soon be clear enough for Mr Cunningham to relocate to a fresh camp?

The one he's at is a little fetid with rotters on the fenceline.

It's worse than "mommy and daddy" will fix it. It's, "I'm immune to the justice system because I come from money."

Except California, and any state with an unsympathetic judge.

Being comparatively poor, having the local government on your side is nice.
-that's like, even if you happen to roll with a tough crowd, s'all okay... the judge is cool with Batman.
Soil degradation.
I just realized my character is... like... 50 miles from you guys...

^And, to clarify, those deaths were due to (and please correct me if I'm wrong)
1. Post quality
2. General asshattery
3. ...Weird and/or disturbing content. I'll leave it at that.

Well, then there's Nallore, Vanilla-Fire, and pretty much half the village of Ashpoint.
-IIRC, there was a sniper in the church belltower of Ashpoint (the one that took a liking to Dmitri's Nagant), he died when an AH-64 shot a hellfire at his face. I don't remember the character's name, but he was a generally likeable character and a possable romantic-interest.
Anna, question:
Do I still retain the 'ol privlidge of killing one character of whosoever I please?

I'm pretty sure one character won't survive.

Heck, Me, Shelton, Elias, and Dmitri killed, like.. what? 4 characters already?
1. Natalia
2 + 3. The abductive ruskie rapists
4. 'Uncle Woo'

And that's excluding how we killed Sam and Dimitri.

... Weiss is not the shortest. Ruby is.And mind you, Ruby's wearing boots that make her appear taller than Weiss.

Funny, I remember Weiss was wearing high-heels to go with her 'combat-skirt'...
-It could be, that they each are/were desprately trying to look more impressive than the other.

It's a simple question really: If there's a story where it's possible to bring people back to life, then does the story lose all sense of tension?

Well, provided life/death follows newtonian laws, then bring them back to life entails either sacrifice, or killing the baddie once and for all.

Which gets wierd if by 'bringing back' actually means 'inhabit host'.
