Current 10+ years of an RP idea, finally finished, on 10.10.2025. Goodnight Raven Squad, you were the best, wildest, most silly near future SOF RP that lived on the guild, and you got a worthy send off :)

Bio

I've RP'd for the best part of over 15 years now here on the Guild, and particularly like military settings, both contemporary, past and near future. I have even dabbled in a little more experimental RPs, as well as created a plethora of 1x1s over my time in the guild. I like creating RPs with a distinct flavour- and often shift between narrative-led RPs to semi-randomised plots. I've been more a GM lately than a player, and don't really lean into fandom- instead, exploring my own universes lifting themes from other source material.

My main interests are military-themed, near-future RPs, with a focus on technology. But I'm beginning to push what that RP idea looks like- taking inspiration from lots of media and focussing on the fun, indulgent side of RP, whilst also exploring the lows and emotional side.

Raven Squad is a project over seven years in the making, and focusses on a class-based, eccentric yet half-grounded near future special forces team that acts as a response team where you can't send any special forces team in. It's incredibly dumb, incredibly loose, and yet, has delivered some of my favourite plot points in RPG. A brainless action flick a la John Wick and Kingsman meets a complex thriller with a fun left turn in it, Raven has been the culmination of over a decade of loving special forces RPG, gaming influences and other silliness in a package that has provided players with something quite different to a normal military themed RPG. While at an end, this is an RP that is a signature- it's silly as hell, takes itself barely seriously, and is what peak fun military RPG to me should be.

Delta Hyper is a love letter to Wipeout, F1's Drive to Survive (Netflix) and contemporary Formula One, with influences from solarpunk, cyberpunk, transhumanism and other posthumanist concepts. An RP that follows pilots in their ups and downs, it's a story that hasn't got me playing an actual character, but framing the camera at each pilot (played by others), and presenting it as if it were a documentary. Lifting elements from TTRPG, this is a Racing RPG like no other and no parallel exists- using dice rolls and randomisation, with a stats-driven system to generate race results, rather than actually RPing the races, players experience the fast-paced, dynamic world of anti-gravity racing. This means that come Qualifying and Race, the results are genuinely a surprise to everyone- and based on decisions made through dilemmas and decisions made between races. Friendships, rivalry, the glamour and even a little political undertone play out in 2094, in a colourful, utopian future that focuses on the fight to take first place.

Then there's Tactical Breach Wizards: Fireteam Hex. First use of any set IP as a formal setting, this is an RP that offers a darker mirror to Raven Squad, focussing on the other side of the equation- unlikely heroes in an uncomfortable position. I don't normally do fantasy, but the world, the lore, the feeling of the characters and the ability to write a comedy just was too difficult to pass up. An RP that focuses on a group running away from a variety of threats as wanted mercenary wizards in the middle of a post-revolution, Eastern-Europe adjacent 1990s to present Polavia.

Lastly, Dispatch: Heroes of Claremont. This is another IP-adjacent world, albeit drawing on a different setting and a new cast of superheroes. As my "first" proper superhero RP, this combines workplace comedy, a Storyteller-lite system and a fun, diverse, and large cast together in a dynamic, diverse setting.

I'm pretty flexible and try and get back to people on ideas and responses, but sometimes, I may become very busy and it will take some time till I am un-busy. I aim to clear posts within a week!

Natalie let loose, a stream of bubbles near her rear, as she kicked hard, hissing in the rebreather hard as she looked as the shallow waters that they had dropped into. It was only about 20m deep, but still, the illumination was half decent, the storm beginning to slowly pass though the area, but not that it mattered to Natalie. They had a fairly long swim, but she was muscular, being surprisingly strong. Under any armor, apart from her pretty face and her curves, she was built like a female tank. Her legs and arms were proportionate to her height, not just long, but thick, almost tree trunks in how they dominated. Beyond her two big bosoms, she had a six pack that seemed very well toned, though hard to spot, and her body, whilst elegant and beautiful, was powerful in ways that represented she took no shit. She was ex-Spetsnaz after all- and that brawn was backed up by a very ruthlessly efficient mindset. One that turned her into a killing machine more potent than her weapons alone did. Hissing into the rebreather, as a school of fish swam by, the warm tropical waters reminding Natalie that sharks were also around but not likely to fuck around with them today. Besides, Natalie knew she wasn't going to die that way, fate would never allow it. Swimming on, her legs thundering, the two black suits moved through the water with a certain grace, as they came closer, and closer.

Within fifteen minutes, Natalie saw the beginnings of what was the naval base, as she looked back at Victor, hissing hard through her rebreather.
"Through here. It's going to be tight." Natalie said, as she looked left, almost in a crouched position, as she checked the AS VAL, chambering an underwater-compatible magazine, as she looked to him.
"And since you have a fart fetish, you stay behind me." Natalie added, chortling over the radio, as she knew that at this stage, Victor wouldn't get the effect of the heat, but the pressure would hit him, and boy, did Natalie know what she was doing when she had some force in her gas. The piping seemed ancient, but the gate was rusted, and covered in coral in places. Taking a small oxy-acetlene torch from her back, she began cutting the grate with ease, quickly ripping it off, as she took her AS VAL back into one hand, and her Dive Knife in the other. The pipe was thin, but it led as a filler for the dry dock within the submarine pen, completely broken now, with all the pumps removed. It fit Natalie and Victor just- and Natalie knew that teasing Victor was a full time occupation, alongside killing people.
"In we go." She remarked, as she took her gloved left hand, with the knife in it, finding a spot to wriggle in. She kicked hard, letting the momentum take her, as she stopped her legs. Her sixth sense kicked in about where Victor was relative, and she knew this was going to be good.
"Straight on...hmm...it's going to be a wet one!" Natalie said over the comms, cackling like the devil, as suddenly, the pressure and force rocketed her forwards, as bubbles of her gas displaced water, the flurry right to Victor, as she kicked, still laughing.
"Oh, you should have never said you enjoyed them. You're going to get plenty more later...." Natalie said in an evil way, aware that this was perhaps a true revenge for when Victor hit her on the rear. Oh, she always had a way, she thought to herself.

Swimming on, through the narrow pipes, Natalie stopped, as she then heard walking above. They had gone up and she could see through the grate, the feet of one man. He wasn't talking. She couldn't stand in the pipe, but she could do something different. Inhaling hard, breathing in air at a rate most humans could only dream of, she knew the grate wouldn't be that strong. It was bolted in two places, and it moved when he stood on it, as he had initially heard. It was too narrow for them to get out here, but Natalie wanted to stir the Hornet's nest before going through. Putting her feet up against the top of the pipe and taking two hands on the grate, dive knife in her right, she saw the other man walk away, as this soldier stayed, over the small grate.
"Let me have this one. Quiet."

Natalie yanked, and the grate, which was so poorly attached from the top, came apart, the whole structure going, as the man fell, straight into the water. Natalie didn't even flinch as the man, arms outreached, was so shocked and unaware, he didn't know how quickly his life ended. Natalie thrust the Dive knife right by his neck, throwing her hand forward onto his mouth and suffocating him, pinning him down in the narrow tunnel, the man kicking and looking right into Natalie's goggled eyes, unable to see beyond the black tint as she looked right into his, with a real feeling of hatred and adrenaline combining. It took less than thirty seconds- the man must have taken water in his lungs, due to the panic, but it didn't matter. Taking the ripped out grate, she put it back up, and swam forward, dragging him and having to kick even harder. And it was one less enemy. Perhaps they'd look at the grate and moan that it was broken, but they'd never know their friend was sitting in a flooded pipe.

"Mind the body." Natalie simply said, as she kept on kicking, hoping Victor was on her back. Swimming towards another grate, she cursed, looking beyond it. It was concreted off- like the US Navy had done so to seal the passage off. But the good news was, there was a passage upwards, a little underwater but poking out into something out. It was a way out, Natalie thought to herself, observing.
"Fuck, this should be going to the submarine pen itself, but we can't go through. Dammit. Wait a second- I have a possible idea." She added, looking around at the coral in the pipe, as she bung a green chemical light forwards, the cracked tube emitting light, as she took her Oxy-Acetelene torch out again, quickly cutting through as she did on the entrance. Natalie was using up almost the rest to cut the rusted, yet thick bars, before pushing them out the way, and swimming through. The pipe seemed to be concreted here- but there was an access point, for some sort of maintenance perhaps beyond the grate. Natalie looked up, the darkness only illuminated by the green chem light, a smirk on her face as she looked around to Victor.
"Get that grapple hook ready. There's just enough room for us both here. Fire it and and set it to pull if you think it's got a stable link, otherwise, we'll crawl up it." Natalie said, as she swam upwards a little into the hollow, where a few destroyed ladder rings sat at the top- the rest had rusted and broken off, and meant that the only way up was a rope. It seemed to go into some sort of elevator shaft- a maintenance one, rather than a normal one. For carrying pallets of ammunition, rather than groups of people. A metal grated door, probably to stop people falling into the water, sat where the lift would usually go- the lift itself disabled higher in the shaft, from their perspective still in the water. Perhaps another grate covered this way down- but it wasn't there anymore. As Natalie shifted a little, emerging from the water in the very narrow shaft, she took her goggles off, and the rebreather out of her mouth, as Victor prepared the line. They would have to then perhaps keep climbing up the lift shaft's cable, and perhaps after getting higher, do some damage from above, getting an oversight on what was what from an observation room in the pen. It was a nightmare, but they were undetected- and Natalie, knowing full well what damage they could do, knew that if they hit the enemy correctly, then almost any enemy standing here would be toast before twenty minutes would pass.
PM'd you about a few ideas- write back to me if you want about what you're interested in, if you want to change or particularly add an idea, let me know.
Ah I see, so basically, you'll be around, just not on weekends and the next two weeks. That's cool man- I think that isn't too much of a worry then, have fun with that U-100 and SAR-21, you've got to tell us if that recoil reduction is real on the former or not :D .

Anyone going to throw a post up? My last post isn't great, but I do want to push on, and generally begin the assault on the airfield any minute.
The tangoes came down, as Jan looked to the rest of the team, and Medved, before looking forward, then at Zhenya in particular.
"I don't like changes in plan, Zhenya. I understand your view, but you're in a NATO team, and while I trust your friends, deviations in plan always require more thought on my behalf. Just keep that in mind." Jan said rather coldly, aware that he had to put the point across- lest the Russian burst out like that again. He didn't care what his operators did, so long as they took out targets. But Jan never felt comfortable about Zhenya- he could trust him operationally, but Medved's appearance again felt wrong. It felt too repeated, and Jan knew you didn't let your guard down around Russians. They were dangerous, capable of things Western SF didn't sometimes understand wholly, but they wouldn't relent. And it was why Jan didn't want Zhenya to consider himself a bear amongst wolves, but rather just a cog in a machine. He was good- but he was still just a Sptesnaz Vympel soldier, in a NATO SF team. Looking to the others, he nodded.
"Okay, we head down here." He added, pointing down, as he looked to the bodies.
"Leave them there. Get a fresh set of magazines in. We are running out of time, Gents." Jan simply said to the group, as he looked ahead, aware the team had to go, or else they'd run into more patrols- and that would bog them down. They had to be decisive, as they moved through the snowy forest, the breezy cold not a worry to Jan. He didn't care about it. OP Nevada was not far, and all they needed to do, was set up there, and prepare to move down and get what they were looking for, found.
Neil looked over at Wendy, a smirk on his face.
"You know, at least we don't have to get our hands too dirty. We're friends from afar." Neil said, chuckling a little, as he looked over at her, then looking back.
"And if the Ruskies are along, I hope they tell them we're here. Otherwise, things could be a little scary you know." Neil added, as he checked the bolt of the DSR, then watching through the Spotting Device again, the small tripod-mounted lens bringing up a closer image of the area down below, with Neil changing to thermal, observing anything else that might be visible.
"Hmm....through the thermals, I can just pick out a few infantry inside that hut there. Through the cracks in those barrack huts, I can see half a dozen." He added, aware that when shit hit the fan, they'd only fire then. It was boring, but it was what snipers did- wait. And wait they would, as long as they needed. Till they knew their moment would come.
Moving downhill, Jan kept an eye out, as they moved through the forested area, with haste. the team moving as a unit. Though Jan knew he was somewhat a little at odds with Zhenya, he knew that it was petty- they were here to get the job done, and Jan knew that SF operators understood that. Even if politics got in the way, they still weren't going to murder each other- they all had little time to act, and tensions were on a high. Moving down, Jan kept his 416 raised, as they moved with a pace and flair that said that they knew precisely what they were doing. They had dropped down in the forest by a significant margin, and despite the patrols in the forest, they had made good pace, good enough to buy them time to lase and set up the shots. OP Nevada was a small pile of stones, another outcrop simular to what the two snipers perched under, but it was a little less pronounced.
"We have five more minutes till the Su-25s arrive. I'd rather do things by the numbers. Snipers, confirm your shot on the MANPADS and ZSU." Jan said, as they approached the site, Jan looking to Medved.
"Okay, if what you say is good, then relay it- I'll co-ordinate their fire as best as I can. We don't want to level this place, let's play our cards carefully, so to speak. Their armor gets destroyed, we'll leave the artillery to level the far end of the field with the grounded aircraft and the barracks, the ATC tower and the southern side. Scott, Zhenya, keep security on the left, Medved, sweep up the rear and right. I'll call it up when you say so, Medved." Jan said, aware that while the aim of the artillery would not be impeccable, it would be enough to at least saturate the immediate area, and buy them time to get onto it. Pulling out the laser designator out of it's case from the bottom of his assault pack, the fairly heavy set of binoculars coming into both hands, as he moved up to a set of rocks, keeping his lower half concealed below it. Looking down the designator, he adjusted his observation, peering down. already picking up targets of interest.
"Sniper team, pick up the Igla pod and any other AA. Prepare to engage." Jan simply said, as he moved his finger along to the squeezable button on the top of the device, the simple squeeze emitting an IR laser, trackable by an AGM and LGBs, to destroy whatever target was being painted. And right now, the two BMP-1s were right where he had his sights, the airfield in good view, yet their position just behind the end of the treeline insuring them somewhat. Jan exhaled, waiting for Medved to give the word, as he released the button, aware the system was working well, quickly adjusting the zoom level, as he looked back at the team, keeping a good cover. Jan didn't know what he'd do after this. Somehow, he felt like going home, just back to normality, GROM was where he needed to be. Yet this was unfinished buiness. For Gunther, for all that had sacrificed what was needed to make sure such a device didn't fall into their hands. And Jan was assured in his mind, that he'd follow them trying if he needed to.
Damn
Going to post at some point today- Skyth, you still going away on the 6th of Sep? If so, I mean, if there is any contingency that you want me to know about Zhenya, then let me know- I do have a myriad of ideas, but safe to say, I'm just wondering if it's still cool with you and all.

Also Silverwind, that is fine- no problems at all, real life comes first and all.
Think "The Pit" from MW2, or basically, a course you have to move through, taking out targets- though some might actually fire back, you know. Just one type of target, like mock up plywood houses and so forth.
I want to keep the posts flowing- if you can dude, try and post soonish, I'm a little occupied atm but as soon as all the posts have gone full circle, I'll post too. Don't want this RP to die- it's awesome so far and all.
(I re-wrote this post almost entirely- it takes a different sort of approach, since I really wanted something long (but I really skimped out on the first half I feel).)
(Also, awkward- I forgot Nolan's first name, and Andrew's second. I think his is Harris.)

Ross chuckled, as he looked to the other two.
"What can I do? I mean, you know...in this life or the next if women like her are around, I will probably get killed, you are right on that one. Didn't even have one, you know." Ross said, shaking his head, as he knew full well, she had done it out of fear-induction.
"To be fair to you Captain, she is a stunner. Not many large women retain that sort of beauty. I don't blame you for it, but make no mistake, that isn't mechanized. That's muscle and strength under that, both of them make us look like bugs." Jenny said in response, as she looked over to the snipers, who'd come in after the fight, moving through the town.
"Lads and Jenny, some Warrant Officer wants to talk to you. Says they need you outside." Andrew said, quickly pointing over, as Ross got off his barrel, the others behind.
"Fair enough. Let's see what they think of this madness." He said, as they headed to the gate, Natalie and Victor gone about two minutes ago or so.

Walking out, the FV510 Warrior came to a stop, with the rest of the infantry disembarking from the rear, one in particular moving over to the Juggernauts and the Snipers, who had walked out of the demolished front gate of the fort.
"Captain Henderson? Shit, you Juggernauts really are insane. Chief Warrant Officer Welch at your service." The Brit said, wearing a regular MTP uniform, with a Osprey Assault Vest and helmet, with a mesh net on it. He seemed pretty much like the others, the rank distinguishing him in particular.
"Yep, that's me. This is Lieutenant Carl Cardinal and Sergeant Jennifer Morrison. These wookies here are Lieutenant Nolan and Staff Sergant Harris." Pointing to the other two in the team and then the snipers, Ross kept his helmet in his left, and his Mk48 in his right, aware that the three were intimidating indeed in their stance, and the heavy Juggernaut suits they wore.
"You came late. Two contractors did most of this, ghost stories that you've probably heard are actually fucking real, but beyond that, this place is cleared. Shitloads of supplies, AA and militants, dead. I hear you're cleaning up- you may need more than a few mops for this one." Ross added, as the WO was amazed, looking beyond the three well armoured soldiers.
"Fucking hell....you aren't lying. We're setting up a Camp in here, Whiskey Company is setting up it's IFVs adjacent to the place, infantry are inside. The walls and everything are still standing, so it's still an important strategic defence in the area. Gunfighters have got them on the run to the Chinese borders, so we're going to work Anti-Insurgency from this place- the Royal Engineers are meant to be here by 1100 hours, and we've got a good amount of defences and barracks to set up. Not sure what your orders are from here, but you're welcome to join us here till they come through." Welch said, as Ross looked at the rest of the British contingent in the company, sweeping the town and the general area, going in also.
"Well, we're up for that. We need a resupply and some kip, so something for something I guess." Ross replied, as WO Welch nodded, looking over.
"We've got a couple of lorries coming in now. Help yourselves to what you need- this is some seriously nice work. No doubt you took bullets in those suits, we've heard stuff about you all over the place." Welch added, as Ross chuckled.
"We've travelled far and wide, but it's what we dish out, Warrant Officer." Ross simply said, as he looked around, back to his team.
"Well....off we fuck for some ammo and sleep." Ross said simply, as Jenny shook her head, in the simple manner he said it, before falling in, swinging her MG4 over her shoulder.
Natalie clambered into the Chinook, following behind Victor, as she watched him put him somewhere the opposite of comfy.
"Shame I wasn't unarmored, or else I'd of drawn both of my plump two cannons on him." Natalie said, laughing giddily, as she then checked her M134.
"Scaring people with words sometimes works better. Lasts a lot longer, mentally fucks them." She added, as she took her faceplate off completely, leaving it on her neckbrace, as she looked to Victor, cuddling up closer by his side as she wrapped her arm around his shoulders, looking him in the eyes.
"You're the only person I fear, you know. Brings my heart rate up, any other human, not so much you know? I mean....you're that spark on crude oil. Just waiting to really surprise me..." Natalie said, edging closer as she kissed him on the cheek, the Pilot a little awkwardly interupting.
"30 seconds, we've got a small enemy outpost below. Do what you need to, Brute." He said, as Natalie edged out, letting Victor get up, and grab the body.
"Shit, seems like you're going to show these bastards we remember the wounds." Natalie said far more seriously, as she stood herself, following behind as she raised the M134, the rear door gunner backing out the way, coming between the two as he moved to the front, Natalie aware her M134 in her hands was more powerful than the M240 that the crewman had just manned. The side door gunners barked open their M240s, as Natalie followed suit with her minigun, spitting hot lead as the Chinook hovered a few meters above the ground, giving Victor enough time to do what they do. The fire was so intense, on the small outpost, no more than 20 men in number, that they didn't bother replying, the volume of bullets and the literal spitting of hot lead all over hammering the point home. As Victor finished up, Natalie offered a hand up, the Chinook flying a little lower to scoop him, as they then pulled out, the Chinook steering hard out of any RPG or gunfire that now came back, and headed for the Chinese border, to safety. Walking back to the seats, the rear door gunner quick to get back on his M240, Natalie watched Victor take his seat, as she slyly sat on his thighs, unstrapping her ammunition rucksack to the side as she backed up, aware her rear, or at least, through the suit, just sat nicely on Victor's lap.
"Hmm...I guess they'll know what they need to know. You sitting comfortably?" Natalie asked, as she knew his response would be pretty clear-cut.
Five Days Later
Somewhere off the coast of Honduras
1900 Hours

The MH6 Little Bird wobbled a little as it headed offshore, the rain pouring in the midst of the thunderstorm, as Natalie adjusted her position in her Tactical Suit, the shadow black colour at this time of day hard to spot if concealed. Though there was six inches of kevlar between her bare body and the outer thick rubber coating, that allowed for slides and , she knew it was still light enough to run in, and most of all, use for various purposes. In this instance, a rebreather apparatus had been set up on the armour, with the compacted kit sitting on her front, a small tank with a diving mask, coupled with a set of Diving Goggles.
"Five mikes to LZ." The pilot said, as they flew on, Natalie looking to Victor by her side, a smirk on her face. After coming back from Afghanistan, Natalie had decided to take a break, and mercenary work always flowed through the company, needing to be sometimes filled. The people wanting this contract completed was the US Government in this circumstance, preferring to take a more hardline with this particular group, rather than deal with it officially. Wet Work like this always kept Natalie going, and besides, after it was done, they'd be dropped off the coast of Belize, for a little...well, fun. Take a few days of holiday, to do some things most mortal men would dream of doing, when the weather would improve rather than this shitstorm of rain. Their super-heavy armour was being repaired, with Natalie aware she was in the process of getting a completely new one, hers being almost shredded anyway after the events of Wakhan. So for now, these were a good filler, and this op suited just what they were about to do, as a nice paycheck. $250,000 was plenty enough for a comparatively small job like this, and from that, deducting $40,000 for the helicopter and ammunition, was really a small drop in a big paycheck that would fund their lives as the stored money in their accounts already did.

She flexed her neck, looking back, before she tucked herself closer into the seat. The neckbrace of the suit covered the entire rear of the head, being so huge to protect from explosives, but at the front, it only covered up to the chin, giving a good visibility in the front 180 degrees. She widened her legs, looking at the water meters below the helicopter, before turning back to Victor, her face wet from the spray of rain and water below.
"Remember, we're hunting a HVT, a big druglord going under the name of Pablo Rodriguez. Big cocaine factory, established on an old US naval outpost, that they developed on a peninsula jutting into the Caribbean. Could take a submarine in it's heyday in WW2, now it's abandoned and mostly dismantled, apart from our entry- an underwater piping, takes us right into the facility, where we can get sneaky and so on." She said, as she checked the AS VAL on her front, chambering a 30-round 9x19mm magazine. She had her two USP.45 pistols silenced in hip holsters, and her Spetsnaz Shovel tucked onto her forearm, when needed. Going quiet was easy with these suits- the soles of the suit's boots were designed to be virtually silent, and the profile, while large, was easy to hide with in the shadows or in concealment. A pair of flippers were attached to them, to make movement a little easier while underwater- it would still be slow, but do-able with their strengths.
"This is how we do our holidays...shit, I guess I really did sign us up for some real recreation. We've got enough C4 between us to disable and destroy both the mechanisms and the Coke that's there, before calling the bird to pull out of there, just in time for the Honduran Navy to clean up. And while the weather's bad, it's better than sunbathing at least. I guess there's some plans we can have, when this storm passes." She added, her face a slightly tanned colour, and her blonde hair tucked into a bun, yet she still looked imposing, the two dark smudges of warpaint just below her eyes, water still dripping a little off. She was a Amazon after all, and from the two....rises on her chest, to the sheer size of her body, you could tell you didn't mess with this woman.
"Check the air's flowing, masks on, and attach your flippers. Two minutes, Brute. This really is a new meaning to wet work." She added, as she pulled the mask for her rebreather from her side, and engaging the mechanism, put it on, before putting her Diving Goggles on. Her vision was a little impaired, but they were diving to 30m- and for that, they'd need more oxygen than just a regular set of oxygen tanks would give. She changed comms channels, for the dive radio, as she looked to Victor.
"And there's some seriously wet work down below that you'll have to deal with later, Victor. My rear is roaring for action too, I've got to show you what heat is really like." She said, being a massive tease, as she looked out on the slowly setting sun that barely poked a hole in the stormclouds, as the helicopter pitched, and slowly began a hovering pattern, just over the ocean. The rain made the tactical suits a slightly reflective shiny, yet covert black, that in this weather, was amplified further.
"We're about one and a half kilometers from the base itself, the suits are weight, but we won't sink entirely. Flippers are your friend here. 30 seconds." She added, as she looked to him, checking her Dive Knife placed right in a specific spot on her chest, and the chem light attached to her leg, a light green that would activate when they hit the water, and provide illumination when they went deeper. While her head would be a little wet, the suit was sealed below the head in this circumstance, to prevent water filling the suit up, so to speak. The fact of the matter was, they had a little work to do, and they'd be a hell of a force. The chopper held, about five meters off the ocean, as Natalie unstrapped herself, giving a thumbs up.
"Geronimo!" She said, as she then left the side seat of the MH6, legs straight and her arms too, as she then plunged into the deep, exhaling hard as bubbled formed past her goggles, and the warm Caribbean water kicked up against her head, the suit sinking as she adjusted her position, and began kicking, hard. The rain was heavy above the water, but below, it was quiet, with Natalie hearing only the burble of her own breathing and bubbles.
(I'm using mobile internet in Poland right now- it's hard to type up a post, so expect the next one to be likely in the start of September. Sorry.)

Ryan looked over, looking out at the darkening sky out of the garage bay.
"Any second really. Should get a lot colder, not a cloud in the sky after all." He said, looking over at the two R8s, aware the temperature, due to the area, would drop considerably. It would be around 20 degrees, if not less, due to the fact that the heat escaped, yet Ryan knew the black tarmac was like walking on hot coals if barefoot- it was staggering how hot it could get when it was the middle of the day, but now, it was cooling down, to something much more comfortable.
"I really want to shove it in Muller's face. We get a one two, sure he claims the title, but he won't have so massive a grin when he does. I feel good about it, you know." He said, looking over at her, as he finished his drink off, quickly getting up and walking over to a laptop on a desk. Clicking through, he got his telemetry data up, quickly scanning through, looking at throttle patterns. As dull and boring as it seemed, it gave a corner by corner analysis of how the throttle was applied, how smooth or irregular it was. And Ryan could tell- the sectors he had a small issue with, were where the patterns were worst, the irregularity through the last complex a bastard to master in the pattern, himself aware that was where he'd need to bring the thunder and really up his game- lest he lost positions. He was just focussed on the race now- nothing else mattered, not what next, just get in the car, and drive the R8 LMS GT3, like he'd stolen it. He had a commanding style of racing, one that was ice-cold, tactical, and kept going, line after line. Holding positions, and placing pressure ahead was what he did well, to always put himself in a position where he wouldn't get passed.
"Always got next season, to try and kick the shit from him. Or, go into something else you know."
