Current 10+ years of an RP idea, finally finished, on 10.10.2025. Goodnight Raven Squad, you were the best, wildest, most silly near future SOF RP that lived on the guild, and you got a worthy send off :)

Bio

I've RP'd for the best part of over 15 years now here on the Guild, and particularly like military settings, both contemporary, past and near future. I have even dabbled in a little more experimental RPs, as well as created a plethora of 1x1s over my time in the guild. I like creating RPs with a distinct flavour- and often shift between narrative-led RPs to semi-randomised plots. I've been more a GM lately than a player, and don't really lean into fandom- instead, exploring my own universes lifting themes from other source material.

My main interests are military-themed, near-future RPs, with a focus on technology. But I'm beginning to push what that RP idea looks like- taking inspiration from lots of media and focussing on the fun, indulgent side of RP, whilst also exploring the lows and emotional side.

Raven Squad is a project over seven years in the making, and focusses on a class-based, eccentric yet half-grounded near future special forces team that acts as a response team where you can't send any special forces team in. It's incredibly dumb, incredibly loose, and yet, has delivered some of my favourite plot points in RPG. A brainless action flick a la John Wick and Kingsman meets a complex thriller with a fun left turn in it, Raven has been the culmination of over a decade of loving special forces RPG, gaming influences and other silliness in a package that has provided players with something quite different to a normal military themed RPG. While at an end, this is an RP that is a signature- it's silly as hell, takes itself barely seriously, and is what peak fun military RPG to me should be.

Delta Hyper is a love letter to Wipeout, F1's Drive to Survive (Netflix) and contemporary Formula One, with influences from solarpunk, cyberpunk, transhumanism and other posthumanist concepts. An RP that follows pilots in their ups and downs, it's a story that hasn't got me playing an actual character, but framing the camera at each pilot (played by others), and presenting it as if it were a documentary. Lifting elements from TTRPG, this is a Racing RPG like no other and no parallel exists- using dice rolls and randomisation, with a stats-driven system to generate race results, rather than actually RPing the races, players experience the fast-paced, dynamic world of anti-gravity racing. This means that come Qualifying and Race, the results are genuinely a surprise to everyone- and based on decisions made through dilemmas and decisions made between races. Friendships, rivalry, the glamour and even a little political undertone play out in 2094, in a colourful, utopian future that focuses on the fight to take first place.

Then there's Tactical Breach Wizards: Fireteam Hex. First use of any set IP as a formal setting, this is an RP that offers a darker mirror to Raven Squad, focussing on the other side of the equation- unlikely heroes in an uncomfortable position. I don't normally do fantasy, but the world, the lore, the feeling of the characters and the ability to write a comedy just was too difficult to pass up. An RP that focuses on a group running away from a variety of threats as wanted mercenary wizards in the middle of a post-revolution, Eastern-Europe adjacent 1990s to present Polavia.

Lastly, Dispatch: Heroes of Claremont. This is another IP-adjacent world, albeit drawing on a different setting and a new cast of superheroes. As my "first" proper superhero RP, this combines workplace comedy, a Storyteller-lite system and a fun, diverse, and large cast together in a dynamic, diverse setting.

I'm pretty flexible and try and get back to people on ideas and responses, but sometimes, I may become very busy and it will take some time till I am un-busy. I aim to clear posts within a week!

(Escalation on top of Escalation. Also, you might see something flesh out in the future involving this and our regular Juggernauts in quite a canny way.)

Natalie watched on, as she carried on, pinging bullets of all calibers, virtually unstoppable as she jogged with the flamethrowers to hand. She torched a cavern of sorts, where a few militants were hiding, before hearing a moment of silence.
"That was at least thirty of them. Now we go into the caverns- we've got minutes here. I'll keep on point- switch to your shotguns, we'll need to decimate anything that moves. They shouldn't have a chance. Like I said, I've just warmed this mountain up a little, the amount of sweat down my titties is unreal." Natalie said, her voice as evil as sin as she looked back at Victor, aware that maybe, just maybe, it was too much information. Or enough for Victor, perhaps. Natalie thought to herself, as she pushed forward, every footstep buerying into the snow as she flamed ahead at a cluster in a wooden shed. The place went up quickly, and flaming Taliban emerged, a hell of a sight but in some ways, remiding why flamethrowers weren't used conventionally any more. Something like this ferocity could fit on a vehicle in the Vietnam era, but Natalie had it in her hands with the tanks on her back providing more than enough flame to torch the rest of the place.

Natalie pushed on up, moving up the peak and what seemed towards a compound that sat the front of the small cavern that housed most of the command buildings. She already guessed that this was whatever they had on the surface- and almost everything was either leveled or ablaze. Even the wooden huts and tents had been taken out, as well as pretty much all the AA sites.
"Through here then. I'll torch the place to what I can- they're backed into a corner, so we can decapitate their command here." Natalie said, as she moved up, a pair of 12.7mm KORD machineguns holding the entrance. Natalie sprayed flames forward, suppressing and bringing the heat, as she got closer and into a better range, as she then pretty much roasted them as they didn't expect the fire to come- one trying to run before getting overwhelmed by the scorching flames. She clambered over a rockface, barely making her way over to be greeted by bullets, as she tsked, getting up and then flaming straight ahead.

The woman, her face of an Arabic origin, was a former member of Gaddafi's Amazon Guards. Her name was Nadia- and though perhaps the least known for what she did, what she was in the organization was big. A mercenary, yes, but one that knew the world of protection well. And this was what she had helped out today. Her features had been specifically picked by Gadaffi, from her juicy breasts to her well built arms and legs. She was no giant, but she was 6"5, and a good example of a woman that could hold her own. But today, she had work to do. The Group had told her to defend this post, and they had sent some people to level this place, apparently. She looked at her armor, a smirk on her face. This was stolen from the Chinese- a Heavy Assault Suit, codenamed "Monster" , that had an exoskeleton frame and was enough to lift her and the heavy titanium and nanoskinned composite. It was practically indestructible, to some regard. They had stolen another few of these, though she had no idea where it had gone in the Group. Inteligence had never found out about this, and in the small armory, as she inspected the 20mm Autocannon and Trophy System attached just on the shoulder, as well as the fuel hoses and the bulky hydrogen cells on the rear. Opening the top, she then stripped down, the cold biting as she heard the gunfire outside, and went full Amazon. Just like Gaddafi liked her sometimes- though she no longer served him. She had left him for dead, and in that town, and taken this offer. To join this team. She lept on the barrel of the gun and then fell inside the hatch on the "head" of the suit, shutting the lid off, as the suit activated, moving. There was nobody here- they had all gone ahead to defend the HQ. Well, the Group wanted her to hold the ground and make sure nothing fell into enemy hands. She was an insurance policy, her breasts on metal as the suit whirred and whined, moving quickly as she smirked, the HUD okay as 8"1 worth of prototype exoskeleton was about to put a rainy day on her enemy. Nobody dared tell her that on her back, the three bottled liquid hydrogen cells, pumping out enough energy to power a small town were connected by a few less protected pipes, and as much as she knew that projectiles wouldn't do the job.
"Group, this is Phoenix. We just received a heavy force, seems like I'll have to clean them out and await your arrival to retrieve the materials." She said, the woman inside moving forward, as every step she made was heavy, inside feeling the cooling system whir against her naked frame inside.

Natalie flamed up ahead, as she took out four people, the giants now ravaging the side of the hill as they pushed inside and were entering the cavern, taking out anything that moved. The command tent was burning, as Natalie scanned the area, looking around, the guardpost cleared of enemies as they swept through, the the Taliban commanders all dead and out for the count. Natalie thought this battle was about to come to an end, when suddenly, it happened. A large iron door was kicked open, and thumping could be heard. The wide feet of the exoskeleton came down loud and clear, as Nadia looked at them, smirking as she span up the barrel. She knew that they were armored well too- perhaps this would be an interesting game. Natalie pointed her flamethrowers at her, aware that it was pointless, as she only had one thing to say on the comms:
"What the fuck is that! Shit, try the 40mm grenades direct! Rockets, whatever you have left!" Natalie yelled over the comms, as she watched the 12.7mm from the heavy GAU-19 tear through the cavern, incredibly inaccurate- possibly due to poor guidance systems in it's prototype stage. It had explosive rounds, and when one hit Natalie, she was thrown back, Nadia laughing as the other giant, comparable in size to her, fired grenades. They popped about three meters from her, the system's recharge doing nothing to upset the status quo as her suit just soaked the explosions up without a problem, a loud knocking inside as Natalie was just about back up. The cavern was tall, but even if Victor launched off a volley of rockets, Phoenix had it under control, the Trophy System obliterating them, as she kept on firing, the place lit up as she just didn't stop, occasionally moving to focus between targets.
"Fuck...ideas?" Natalie said, looking at Victor.
"Shit, I have an idea...it's risky though. We need to disable her Trophy System then hit her as hard as possible, get her back exposed!. How the fuck we do that...wait, she is blinded when I flame! Victor, aim for her shoulder with the USAS12s, I will keep her at bay!" Natalie yelled loudly over the comms, as she was hammered around her by the GAU-19, her suit taking some serious hits yet coping. The outer kevlar was shredded in places, but the composites and the thick materials below were keeping the 12.7mm from breaching her. She pointed her two heavy flamethrowers forward, aware that it wasn't really doing much to the suited soldier, but was blinding their IR vision, something which forced them back a little. Haha, this beast wasn't all powerful after all, Natalie thought to herself, as Victor unloaded hell- something that Natalie then realized wasn't entirely the case, as her suit took a heavy hit, the .50 cal exploding round clearly built to deal with IFVs, and potentially make a mincing of the two Super-Heavies. The rounds were fast-moving from Victor, and the Trophy System couldn't stop it all- the Rufaross rounds decimating the exposed mechanism, which was hidden but due to it's 360 degree nature, able to be decimated. Natalie took another significant hit again, as the exoskeletoned soldier looked to Victor, already looking on as Nadia inside saw the message- "Active Protection Offline." She swore loudly, as she fired at Natalie, before looking at Victor, in a fit of her rage. Phoenix knew she couldn't move fast freely, but she charged forwards, still firing wildly as the suited soldier was now closing on Victor...and while the two had some similar height, even Natalie hoped to God that the Mohican wasn't going to be taken out.
"Victor, just get out of there, outflank her! I'll draw her fire, just avoid her and keep moving!" Natalie said, getting up again as she even felt the force echo through her body, her HUD now pinning up Pheonix's rear fuel tanks. Natalie threw a cluster grenade, to which did nothing to the uparmored fuel tanks, followed by a blast of flames that did nothing.. Phoenix was directly angry at the other super-heavy, and knew the other was no threat, with her flames. It had boxed Victor into a hole, and the 40mm was only slowing the suited soldier up, as it seemed the inevitable was going to happen. Victor's inhumane strength against that...and Natalie knew that whatever she had to do, she had to do now.
"Shit...Victor, just wait!" Natalie said, already moving quickly as she realized that Phoenix had swung hard as it charged, and thrown Victor right into the end of the little cavern, with pretty much no way out. So Natalie did the only thing she hoped to God would work, and pulled out the C4 charge. The light went green, as she knew that it was completely and totally focussed, as she lobbed it forward, the heavy 5kg slab never going to miss, as Natalie panted, short of breath and feeling like she was going to pass out. The charge had adhesives on it that had been triggered by the charge's activation- and now stuck to the red bottles, exposed as ever. Nadia looked at Victor on the floor, and turned around- unaware that he was still moving, and going.
"Victor...push her away, just do it!" Natalie screamed over the comms, hoping that Victor had enough mass to perhaps counter attack her heavy weight, while she then turned and swore, looking straight at Natalie with her red-tinited multicamera lenses on her visor. She span up the weapon, and Natalie, trigger in hand, knew that if Victor didn't do it, the blast would kill him. She had to wait, almost wanting to pass out as her legs were like jelly, her arms gone. She waited, and only pulled the clacker when she knew that Victor would either do the honors himself and risk his life by firing on the tanks, or would wait for Natalie- a risk to her as Phoenix now fired on Natalie, Natalie already falling back past a destroyed technical for limited cover from the rounds, which were tearing the area apart, but perhaps the fact that Phoenix had forgotten that Victor was made of far sterner stuff after being pushed by what was essentially a metal ram to that corner, and that he had a shot to make.
Tyrant moved up, watching as the soldiers surrendered.
"All of you, walk in that direction, right now? Anyone got a grenade in their hands? Lob it into the ocean and put your hands up- I don't want you killing all your friends if you think that will harm me." Tyrant said, as the soldiers moved forward, all putting their hands in the air where Tyrant could see them. Viking sort of herded them towards Tyrant, and he led them, out towards the warehouse they had been momentarily a short while ago. A squad of Wehrmacht were already rolling through, and a couple of Panthers, even a King Tiger, could be seen down the street that they had cleared out. The German forces were surging in, now that Tyrant and Viking had blown a clean hole right through the middle of the Allied forces- allowing the gap to be widened and for German forces to fight and the remainder Italians to do the cleanup. Quite literally- the German forces in this theatre had decided that rather than wasting German hands on such a matter, the Italian Corps were dealing with weakened Brigades and in the case of Alexandria, only helping to guard and reinforce areas where the Germans had thin spacing. But that was of little concern to Tyrant at that point, as he led the surrendered men, and only realized fully what he had. At least 30 men had surrendered- almost a whole platoon. Somehow, Tyrant couldn't think that this was a little more than just crazy. The German troops and their lorries quickly sorted them out and within ten minutes, they were gone, cuffed and brought into a German entourage going back along the coastline to the German Headquarters.
"Victoria, patch us through to Field Marshal Rommel. I have words, to say the least." Tyrant said, as he looked over to Viking, looking out on the harbor, the seven feet of steel and titanium standing tall among the mess that was here.
"Understood. He's on the line now." Victoria simply said, as he looked back, half-turning to see Viking come down and hit the floor.
"Field Marshal, we have secured the docks. The place is a ruin, and German forces are pushing through. Waffen-SS and our Wehrmacht lads."
"Good to hear, Tyrant. It truly is good to be working with you again. We are setting up a Forward Operating Position at the Alexandria Docklands- and as you know, I always keep an ace in the hole. You were just part of it- you should see what I mean just about now." The Field Marshal said on the other end- a good friend of Tyrant's, one that he trusted and put faith into. A loud whining noise could be heard, as even Tyrant could make it out. The few Arado 234 aircraft could be seen just above, along with a few ME262s that could also be seen in escort, taking some flak but significantly less than anticipated.
"Damn...well, what about us? Where now?" Tyant said, watching what he knew had to be hell coming in for the British.
"Hold the line, and wait out. We'll send you out again soon. Well done, Major." Rommel said, as Tyrant smirked.
"Alright then Viking...we'll rearm, and go back out. I'll tell the lads that they have nothing to fear, since Tyrant is bloody here to clear this town of one British platoon at a time." Tyrant said, as he moved up, the giant moving back into the warehouse and back towards the front of the dock entrance, the battle now fully raging. But the worst had passed- and now, Tyrant knew they were in for the long run.
25th November 1943
Peenemunde, Germany

It seemed strange at Peenemunde, being back again. The Map of the world had changed drastically- and the line on the Scottish border of which the British had until now held out to had been broken after a peace deal struck by the resistant Scottish dependency created in the aftermath of the fall of London, and the Germans capitalized on that. They had to set it up as a Protectorate, and in return, the Germans gave the Scottish a high level of autonomy, something that seemed ridiculous and a first for almost 250 years- any power in Edinburgh significant enough, yet a betrayal to any Allied force. As a result, Allied troops were forced out due to Scottish opinion that now supported German troops, and any fighting that occurred meant that by the Battle of Fort William, an event that all members of the 505th had seen, had decisively defeated any last British forces that were grappling in Europe. Gibraltar, the annexed territory by the British of captured French Morocco as well as Gibraltar in the eastern Mediterranean was the last foothold that any British forces had- with the Italian and Vichy French Navies now gaining the upper hand in the Mediterranean and decisively dividing the British Navy in theater. The Suez was captured, and after Alexandria, Germany had practically brought Egypt under a shared protectorate with the Italians- with mainly Vichy and Italian forces dealing with the remaining British and Allied forces in the Arab Peninsula and in Sudan. Germany had also entered a Customs Union with Switzerland, and was practically incorporated into the Greater Reich- though hundreds of thousands of Jews still were able to preserve their safe-hiding in Switzerland, and avoid the persecution. Anti-Jewish sentiment had turned more towards slave labour, with perhaps individuals such as Speer being listened to more than racist leaders- even Hitler submitting that the war effort required more than just racial eliminationist policies, the technology and power of his forces demanding that. Hitler himself, despite his policies, had decided that rather than simply dedicating huge effort of men that simply could not manifest in real terms to eradicating the Jewish race, he was to earn every penny from them- a sickening and horrifying prospect still to Tyrant, though something he knew that perhaps that someone like him would be in a position to know. There was no more of this- and Tyrant knew that while Jews were the "new enemies of Germany", to Tyrant, they were human beings- and he felt sympathy, felt even to some regard, some anger. But that was not his case- it was not his will to deal with. It was politics, and he was a soldier, a man of Germany and the Reich, not a biologist. Jews were still at risk of being killed, and thousands a month were sadly, being killed in the occupied territories or forced to build construction or massive infrastructure projects for either the Army or the German Reich. Things like this even Tyrant disliked- he actively loved his country, and was a proud member of the Waffen-SS, but perhaps, he could never say he supported it. And he would never pull his weapon on an innocent Jew, even if it meant he could become a leader even more than now. He had no need. He soldiered, and he soldiered on how he did. Most Allied forces had fallen back to Iceland and even Southern Greenland- the huge migration and the biting cold of the Winter now coming in. Many suffered, and food was scarce, the entire forces reliant on imports from Canada. An operation in June 1943 to take Jan Mayen and Northern Norway, before the winter set in by the Allied forces- particularly British and Canadian troops, did have some success in order to try and secure a landing ground for Allied forces, as well as connecting shipping with the Northern Siberian ports that were not taken by the German forces yet. This had little success- and the Battle of Trondheim was a decisive Allied defeat, the Allied forces simply unable to effectively fight in the conditions. From there, by late October, the winter had hit hard. And the evacuation of British and Canadian troops, upon the realization that supplies were almost completely dried out, the Norwegian resistance had been stamped out under the Nazi boot despite their valiant and huge efforts to upset the German status quo, combined with the fact that German Mountain Brigades and Axis-fighting Norwegian troops were far better accustomed to the mountains of Northern Norway, as well as the Kriegsmarine's flotillas of U-Boats completely destroying large quantities of supply ships further turning the tide and making their situation hopeless and dire. The Evacuation of Tromso was only a few days ago, and all forces were retreating to Jan Mayen, Iceland, Greenland or Canada. Many would starve, freeze or die of other diseases, the German army guessed- and much of High Command agreed that it was best surprisingly, to capitalize- with superior equipment, planning and experience from Norway giving German troops the power to strike quickly and end the war in Northern Europe for good. In contrast to Alexandria, the war was becoming cold, as the Germans drew up Operation Zeitgeist- the Invasion of Iceland, the North Atlantic Theater now the main focus and perhaps, the continuation of bloodshed and most of all, decisiveness.

Hans sat in the bar, already drinking down a glass of a Czech Pilsner, drinking down as he looked to the others. The rest of the team was here- and they were back home again, he thought to himself. They had been here for a long while. Maybe Allied Intelligence had figured it out. Looking around, there wasn't a single man that even Felix would distrust. They were far too pissed, or local. He had always watched his back, and as far as he knew, Peenemunde was incredibly secure. Recently, it had undergone huge security measures, and several gates meant that access was even harder. The main facility had been reconstructed, and a bunker of sorts now existed, where the armory, as well as other items relating to the 505th existed. They were still developing equipment for the 505th, and a few other projects were on the site- the most critical being a V-3 project that was currently being created and further advanced as a weapon that could strike as far as 200km. It was ridiculous- this was the future of warfare, and somehow, Felix and Hans felt good about being a part of it.
"Waitress, can I get another beer?" Hans said, putting his second back, as she tutted. He brushed it off, as she poured another glassful, Felix looking at Hans. They wore their moreover casual uniforms- all apart from Felix, whose uniform had gained a few medals and ribbons since a few months ago. He seemed like he could now compete with a higher officer in terms of military decorations, because he was indeed, well awareded.
"You with women, Hans. You'll never have any luck like that. Look at her. Good Aryan blood, and you just blew it." Felix said to Hans, laughing a little, aware that it was perhaps a little too far, but none the less, he had to say it.
"Are you saying I'll never find a woman then?" Hans said in response, as Felix laughed.
"Yeah, probably...you need to work on it my friend." Felix simply said, as he drunk his beer a little down, the quaint bar reasonably quiet at the late evening.
This RP going anywhere? We could take it off with all the characters current- though it leaves a lot of gaps.
Imran looked to the team, still carrying on with his work as he listened to them, before turning his head. He wanted to shake his head sometimes at what Yumiko was like, but he learned to just deal with it. She had her quirks, and she was very, very good at what she did. So in some ways, while Imran felt like the voice of reason, he knew to himself that while his team wasn't any reasonable sense to be made out of, that they did what they did better than anyone else on the planet.
"Probably, Howard. I mean, you did what you could- and we've gone over everything that happened. Bastard's alive, we're alive, and somehow, I didn't get scorched carrying his sorry bloody self out." Imran said, his accent particular on the bloody. He had accustomed himself to Officerial, and Oxford life too much perhaps- it was a stark contrast from Lahore. But none the less, he did have his quirks oat other times.
"We won't need to look for her. I mean, we're talking a Russian and a Swiss pair of girls on a glacier somewhere over there...they're used to the cold, it's only good fortune that I went up K2 and found out what cold really means a few years ago." Imran said, chuckling as he watched Bjorn get up, the whole height of him. The rooms were all specially nine foot tall- but in some way, it gave a depth to the place, and it meant that the giants that were Svetlana and Bjorn didn't walk into concrete pillars that occasionally jutted a tiny bit out from the roof at times, then looking at Yumiko then come to perhaps an estranged look that what was in the microwave wasn't exactly hers. But being seven foot five over a five foot little Japanese operator meant that even anyone else in the room didn't need Imran's inteligence to say that even as benevolent and calmed that Bjorn could be out of his Viking berserker decapitating wolves with his axe mode, it didn't make sense for her. Understanding Yumiko wasn't worth it in his own eyes- and it was what made it better to just deal with it.
"Oh damn...you seem to have a way with people Yumiko..." Imran said, chuckling a little as he carried on working, either pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard of his laptop.
Svetlana watched on, aware that Antoine was far better at this than her. Though Svetlana's wasn't as incredible with lift and pure speed, it had a large wingspan, between her hands and legs. It was simply huge, and it fluttered in the breeze, the black of the wingsuit contrasted with a smidge of blue on the leg wing. She bent over, perhaps a little too close to Antoine, the parapac material inflating the wings as some wind blew in, and Svetlana set off a smoke grenade on her left leg. She always wondered if she would be able to fly truly like Antoine one day, but for now, she could at least get her way down, and she'd keep as close as possible for the moment.
"It is a beautiful glacier, why not. See you down the bottom." Svetlana said, watching Antoine go first, as she let rip from her rear, the odourless gas spewing out as she lept off, wind picking up as it blew her hair, her hat off for obvious reasons. It would just get blown off, and besides, the adrenaline warmed her large body like a radiator. Even from afar, you could tell something big was gilding down the glacier ridge, as Svetlana dived, coming close to the side. The thin crack in the glacier was scary, but perfect for this sort of thing, as Svetlana eyed up Antoine. She flipped over, flying belly-up, as she watched the blue smoke trail pour from her leg, leaving a long trail in the glacier, smirking as she turned and almost instantly swerved past an outcrop, flying over and watching Antoine glide on ahead. It went on for minutes- the wingsuits they wore had some incredible lift, and with the thermals on parts of the glacial ridge, it meant that they were even able to gain a few meters and clear ridges that would have otherwise been impossible to take. Looking at the airbase, Svetlana watched on as Antoine went into her manuever, coming in sharp and flaring, as she unzipped. Svetlana knew it was her time- being about 400m off the deck now. She pulled upwards hard, pulled the toggle on her chest hard, hearing the worst nightmare that any jumper could afford. She pulled it again. Nothing. It was stuck. Svetlana realized her little existance could come to an end, but even she had better ideas than this. While Antoine was skilled enough to perhaps come in at exactly the right speed and generate a ton of lift that slowed her down both horizontally and verticlaly, letting her drop down, Svetlana knew that while she could probably survive, it would hurt. Well, this was it. Now or never, she said to herself. She released the parachute from her suit, as she proceeded to dive down again, aware that there was only really one way she was going to survive this. There wasn't any chance of copying Antoine- she had to do it differently if she was going to be still that unbreakable woman. Diving down, she was almost about to pancake into the runway as she pulled up,, barely above the ground and flying past a set of tetrapods and a sea wall, before now coming within a meter of the raging sea.
"Shit..." Svetlana said to herself, as he pulled up for the last time, already killing her speed, as she hit the water.

Svetlana unstrapped her wingsuit, already taking in air. Her lungs were full of air, and she knew what to do. Her body's temprature plumetted, but she didn't give a fuck. She swam up, the waves eventually kicking her ashore, as she took the soaked wingsuit over her shoulder. And worst of all, she only had a thermal bra and some panties on underneath, that was all she had before the climb and all. And the former weren't exactly good at their job. As she clambered over the coastal defenses, she knew that while Antoine was casually collecting her stuff, she was wet. But intact, and perhaps a little bare.

She ran across the runway, cursing to herself about whoever had packed her chute. She knew Antoine had already gone in, but as Svetlana entered, having to go through the side of the common room following Antoine, you could tell that any man's jaw would have dropped at the sight, of her two breasts just about held back by a large thermal bra, and her underwear, which was the same material. And still showed almost all of her rear. It wasn't worth even saying a word, as Imran knew that Svetlana knew that every single eye was pinned to her. She said nothing herself, as she walked to the changing room, accidentally sneaking a look of Antoine as she walked past one of the rooms, lust taking over as she saw Antoine's face look away, but her bare front in view for a millisecond. Something which sent shivers through Svetlana, and a surge of excitement filled her body, as she herself walked on, into her own, a smile on her face as she tucked her hair back and shutting the door, dropped both her bra and her underwear, words not explaining the hidden observer's view, as she got a new pair of underwear on, followed by a dry bra on her wet, salty water soaked skin. A vest and wool jumper followed, as well as a pair of jeans, clearly oversized for anyone normal but right for her size, as she ditched her wingsuit, shivering a little as she walked back to the common room.

Imran looked at the others, a certain look in his face. Bjorn of all people looked the most aroused, somehow just...well, static in how he was in thought at what he had just seen. Antoine came in first, perhaps blushing a little from what Imran could make out. Whatever it was in his team, Imran didn't entirely understanding, but he had a rough idea of what had to be said.
"Good...lots of work, and then suddenly, Svetlana walks past like that. Classic." Imran said, as in that moment, Svetlana literally walked in.
"It is fucking cold in that ocean today, I tell you...God, I'm going to find the jumpmaster and literally hang him by his own parachute cord when I find him. Either that or sit on his face and see what he feels like to be pancaked at 50mph when I went into the water. You need to teach me one day Antoine how to do that, that is amazing." Antoine said, as she shivered a little, looking specifically at Imran with a certain face as she then chuckled, walking over to the sofa as she landed on the sofa by Antoine and Bjorn, leaning back and in particular, words against weren't needed as she leant back a little. With Svetlana, Svets or Lana, you just realized that she stopped caring that she was just looked at, a lot. She embraced it even, didn't mind that she had such curves and beauty. It was just when men tried to manipulate that to their advantage, that she got angry- and it was perfectly fine to Svetlana at least if men had their hearts racing in her presence.
Fair enough- this RP has really gotten it's feet off the ground (hehe, that pun there)- though one quick question for Antoine's character:

The Gryphon wingsuits are like a more non-flexible variant- they're polycarbonate I believe, rather than those squirrel suits that are moreover made of a fabricky stuff and can be adjusted in flight (personally, what I thought you'd have). You seem to go between the two- but I can assume the latter when you mention the former- they are two radically different things, but they're both just as awesome. They're just two different things just to let you know, you can edit it altogether or whatever you want best. I'll just say Natalie has a regular wingsuit of sorts and edit that in. So to just highlight it, top link is the normal one, the Gryphon is the second- just wondering really in terms of what specifically they have.

Also, they'll be an operation soon that I will slowly lead into. This is awesome.
Roger that. I mean, when I say medium, Li's character is something I would like- moderately armored, but not insane like the heavies, more than the Lights. Antoine, our team's infiltrator is basically a ninja, but none the less, you can post me what you want to develop.
Hmmm..well, tell you what, what character you thinking of? That is sort of Antoine, but PM me what you're thinking of. We might need a "Medium" character, but PM me so forth.
Somewhere on Bouvet Island, somewhere in the South Atlantic
1200 Hours

The cold brushed into the Airbase, the artificial ground off the icy glacier of Bouvet able to just about accommodate a C17 Globemaster, and right now, one sat in a massive hangar. A couple of F35A jets, and a few Desert Patrol Vehicles sat around other parts of the base, with even a Pandur II APC and a V22 Osprey, that looked like it could be put away into the C17 for transport, was there.

But there was almost nobody here. The air crew were by their aircraft, and overall, only a few buildings were around, the place abandoned by the Norwegians ten years ago since being constructed 20 for a "security" purpose in the South Atlantic, with maybe jets and helicopters here. But there was one particular building to note. It was a concrete-reinforced structure, looking like some sort of nuclear bunker, in which most of the team sat around within, in their spare time. It was mostly underground, but heated, keeping the freezing cold out. Imran sat with the others in the big comfy lounge for Scimitar members, himself sat by a desk and busy doing Chemistry work, with a laptop, a pen and paper, and some ridiculous equations. Just some paperwork, he said to himself. They had gone out on a few operations in the last few weeks, and a few trinkets were here. Pictures, desks, but it was mainly a few sofas, a Satellite TV and a few other things. A suit of a heavy gunner sat in one corner, as an ornament of some sort- one that seemed to have been taken down by the fragile headplate. A cooler with weak beers and spirits as well as soft drinks was in the lounge, and it was like a man-cave of sorts- and in through the next door, a large underground shooting range paired up with an armory that seemed like a vault existed, segregated into the team's individual stuff- the Heavies having their own room for the sheer volume of equipment that they had. Another door from the lounge went to sleeping quarters, for postings here, and a another went to an operations room, closer to the surface. Up top, there was a few other peripheral buildings- one posting a SAM site and several UGVs out of the cold, with another being an abandoned air control tower that served no purpose now.

Inside, Imran looked over to the others, wearing simply a polo shirt and a pair of jeans, wearing his blue turban and at full beard today.
"Guys, you been out there today? Shit, Svetlana and Antoine have been out for a long time, up on the glacier. I mean...who knows what they are up to there, and you all know what Svetlana can be like." Imran said in his posh English-Pakistani accent, chuckling, just hoping the cold hadn't hit the giant Russian's head. The giant Swede occupied a lot of the large room to Imran in some way, and even Imran had to say that Bjorn's combination of a beard and his dark ponytail did scare the literal shit out of him. The Japanese girl seemed rather small, but had a significant place, as well as Howard, being how he was today. Sikhs couldn't drink alcohol, so Imran had a bottle of warm tea by his side, as he carried on working, aware that nothing had come through today from Spectre- a man that the team simply knew as just one contact, that sometimes told them what they faced. Imran kept his sat phone close by on the table, aware that when it rang, they were going. Spectre was simply a front for whatever it was, Imran judged- it had to be a higher entity, such as the UN or NATO that had this force in place. But really, Imran had no idea. They were just dealing with groups and organizations that were more than terrorists, more than simple bombers. There were powerful people, with connections to governments who had more technology than they should have had. They had modern rifles, hell, armor and equipment that should not have existed in their hands. They were sometimes all just Chinese, or multinational. The rogue groups came under the classification as "Ultrasergents", being a mixed grouping for enemies that had anything from heavy armor to mysteriously acquired modern equipment. Special Forces would never stand a chance against them- and they waged war covertly, quietly tapping out governments across the globe. And they had to stop it, and had every means. That was all Imran knew- that they were a counterbalance.
"Hmm...we really need to go out again. Last time when I think we saved that politician in Azerbaijan was too close. I mean, I had to run with him, all the way to the fucking van while these fuckers are trying to level the embassy!"
Meanwhile on an inactive and glaciated part in the central of the island, were an unlikely two. Svetlana, wearing thick thermals and a black winter jacket of some sort along with a Russian hat, looked back at Antoine, as she looked down, the glacier ridge huge, as she put away her crampons and her ice picks, clambering onto a vista point. Svetlana only needed to look at Antoine, to know that she lusted over her truly. She wanted to on times like this, ask her out. Just to spend some more time, do more. But she didn't know that Antoine was in love with Bjorn- or that Bjorn liked her own curves very much. Perhaps they were at different levels, but Svetlana knew they were going down. Svetlana herself, you could tell had distinctive features, both at where you knew to look- and they in themselves, were pretty overwhelming.
"Hmm...wingsuiting. Long time since I do this. We go down to base, down there." Svetlana said, widening her wingsuit, oversized clearly to accomodate for her. She widened the wings out, as she secured it to herself, checking the parachute, looking at Antoine, as she checked the legs. She had a perfect view over the artificial ground that made up the airbase- the concrete extending a tiny bit from the landmass. But there wasn't a direct route there- and Svetlana knew that they would be skimming the ground down a steep glacial ridge to get there. A mixture of adrenaline and lust for Antoine just got Svetlana going, as she readied up.
"You ready?" Svetlana said, the seven foot six mass of Russian looming over Antoine's back, Svetlana perhaps a little unaware that if Antoine turned her head around, she'd barely come up to the Russian's pair.
Nice- I'm going to get to work on getting the ball rolling. Just a nice calm post- I did want to get our guys right into the midst of it at first, but I decided I might as well do this.
It is the aim really- a lot of the systems are adapted from Future Force Warrior (US) stuff and the FIST programe that the UK has, with other elements.A lot of it exists subdernally in the NATO forces on Stratis- their vests, their helmets as well as that Google-Glass styled IFF friendly identification system for various sunglasses of various type really helps out in that regard, as well as comms, and sights. CTRG has a little beyond, with their Dragonskin/Composite plate carriers over the usual vests used by the other NATO forces, not to mention updated other features in a soldier's inventory. Though that said, FIA is just your basic guerilla group, except with obtained F2000s, TAR-21s and even a few CSAT and NATO weapons interspersed. Speaking of CSAT, they have their own future soldier program- and it is a leap beyond NATO's, if you've see what CSAT look like in game. It's a nice blend of both mobility and very good carrying capacity. Their helmets in particular show it well enough- and as you'll see in points in the RP, it might feel that CSAT has the superiority to NATO in some areas. Scary.
