"Puuurrrrr..."

Four years Lilac had been living with Mr. Samson, and yet in all that time, she had never grown accustomed to his wake-up calls. She wasn't sure if it was the overall weirdness of having to rely on a cat to wake her up, or the extreme variety in which he did so. This morning, for example, Lilac awoke to find the cat sitting next to her head, dragging his little rough paw across her face, as if to pet her. And, just like every other morning, he jumped off at the first sign of movement from Lilac.

The girl wasted no time in jumping off the bed and grabbing clothes from her dresser, taking a quick glance at the clock on the wall, seeing, thankfully, that it was still only 5:30 in the morning. She opened up the door and took a sharp left, entering the bathroom. She then proceeded to take a shower, before coming back out around ten minutes later, her hair still wet. She then entered the kitchen, greeted by the sweet smell of chocolate. She also saw her mother in there, working away.

"Hey honey!" Her mom said, not bothering to turn around and face her daughter. "You're breakfast is on the counter near the door."

Lilac moved her eyes to the counter closest to her, and found a fresh bear claw. "Thanks mom..." She mumbled, taking a step forward and grabbing the pastry. She brought it to her mouth and bit into it, her lips curling upward a little as the taste of the sweet, sugary baked good spread through her mouth. She continued to devour it with big, slow bites, until only the stickiness of the pastry remained on her fingers, which was too eliminated by a few licks. Lilac grabbed a paper towel and wiped her hands, before muttering out a silent 'goodbye' to her mother.

"Goodbye honey!" She heard her mother say as she left the kitchen. "And don't forget your backpack!" Lilac had, in fact, almost forgotten her backpack, and would have been backpack-less all day had it not been for her mom. So she quickly grabbed her bag out of her room and marched out of the house.

It didn't take Lilac long to get to school, and she arrived about the same time that most everyone else was getting there. She sauntered over to her homeroom, which her last school hadn't had, and promptly entered and scanned the rows and columns of desks she could choose from, but did so in a way that best concealed her permanent glare, as she was not wearing her sunglasses. She quickly decided that the back row would not be the best option, as it would probably look like she was trying not to be noticed, which would, in turn, make more people notice her. So, instead, she made her way to the second to last row, hoping that that wouldn't draw too much attention. She got to her seat and waited for a few minutes, before a woman, the teacher, Lilac assumed, began speaking. The woman handed out papers and gave directions, ones that Lilac didn't want to follow. But she had no choice, so, per the teacher's instructions, she wrote her name on one paper and decorated the other (though they weren't great decorations). She wasn't really annoyed when the teacher told them to rip and crumple their decorated paper, so she did so without hesitation. Then came a part of the class which she found horrifying: the get to know you activities. This class's was two truths and a lie, a game that had haunted her repeatedly in her middle school career. She did her best to shrink into her seat, silently listening to the other people's stories. And when she realized her hood was up, she quickly pulled it down, hoping that it hadn't directed to much attention her way.
Hey guys! I just wanted to tell y'all that I'm gonna try to get a post out tonight, but if I can't, I'm sorry. DX
@MissCapnCrunch My school was a k-3 to 12th grade. For the 8th down four absences caused you to automatically lose 10 points on your overall grade. 9th to 12th that and you got Saturday School where you had to come on Saturday for a half day and did whatever the teacher told you to do which usually ended up being cleaning up.(Btw everyone was okay with the cleaning thing. Mainly because there were only two people who were consistently cleaning the school and my school was so small it was like a family so we didn't mind helping.) And we also had to pay 25 dollars. 4 tardys also counted as one absence.

Also my school was from 8 to 3 so when I saw that Arrowsmith was doing 7 to 3 I was like. "DX I'd die in these circumstances."

Same! XD

Name: Salem-13

Race: Exo

Personality: Salem-13 is most definitely a glass half empty type of girl. Some, in fact, would go as far as to say she's a bit of a downer. She believes that it is her fate to die gruesomely in battle, and welcomes it with. She sees herself as expendable. But don't think she's suicidal. She's not running at full speed into the point of a blade. She just sees herself as less important than others. And to emphasize her sad demeanor, she tends to speak in a poetic manner, using artful words and metaphors to make points in every day life. In addition to this, she has a negative outlook on all exos, especially herself.

Bio: Salem-13 knows little about her life before the Collapse. She knows that her given name is Salem-13 and that she was created to be a warrior in a war that has been forgotten for decades, perhaps even centuries, completely buried under the beauty of the Golden Age, a time of peace that Salem-13 had slept through. She doesn't know what woke her, or who created her, or if she was ever able to fight the fight she was created for. She fell asleep for an eternity and woke up an empty shell.

For a long while, Salem-13, lacking a purpose or reason to live, merely shambled around the now desolated earth, completely alone with her lack of thoughts. But after who knows how long of shambling, Salem-13 was given a purpose. And not only did she get a purpose, but she also recieved power. And it was all given to her by the Traveler. She still wonders why she, the random wandering Exo, was chosen, but she was, and she changed after that. She traveled on her own, using the powers to defeat her foes and gain equipment. She had no plans. She merely went where her feet took her, and it always seemed to work.
Oh definitely do NOT feel any rush to get things done, if we need another day or two to wrap things up just holler at me. :) Also just cause their is a time skip doesn't mean you can't finish up your post with a "recap" or anything like that. :) Can definitely extend our time skip to Sunday or Monday if you guys want.

And yes, it will be to our actual first day of school. Since all of us will be in the same classes together, I will be leading us in time segments of each class. Most things will just be simple summaries as I honestly have no interest in roleplaying the actual learning and talking about school stuff. :) Just the fun parts, like seriously mean teachers, group projects, and lunch. and the other things. But yeah. We will get there when we get there!

Sounds awesome! ^_^

Also, due to lack of being able to come up with a decision myself, I shall take a poll: Who thinks that I should give Lilac a reason to leave the stalls, run into Jacob and his goons picking on Clyde and Derek, and run into them again, but but harder and with her fists? ^_^
@Framing A Moose Lol. Did you mean to put The Derek? We in a collab dough. Standstill atm cuz Smarty had 2 do sumtin'. Unless she sells out all da sweets or somethin happens 2 da booth I doubt she gon be dere.(Don't ask me why I typed all that that way. Even I don't know why.)actually I do.It's because I'm crazy.

No, I actually didn't even see it until you mentioned it. XD

Anyways, I know. That's what's stopping me from doing it. It's possible that a customer may have forgotten their order, or maybe she steps out of the booth for a few minutes to grab something more savory for lunch, but...I dunno...
Damn it! I totally wish there was a reasonable way for Lilac find Jacob, his crew, Clyde, and the Derek! It would be an awesome introduction to her badass side!

Honestly, there's nothing I'd rather do than have Lilac join in! It'd be awesome! Anyone with me? That'd be awesome, right? Is it just me? XD

A list of the various times she said we'd be jumping to.

@Framing A Moose Probably to the first day of school morning. ^^ What she mentioned once to me, at least.

Ooooh, okay! Didn't see that! Thanks!^_^
Hope everyone is doing well today :)
Going to read through things and get a post up.

Tomorrow I'll be doing a time skip- so please wrap up anything you'd like by then ^^

How far are we going to skip?
