There we go, it should be a bit better. Hopefully. More reasoning.

Edit: You need to shoot something jumping at your face? ._.
You have swords, use them? owo;;
Oh, what? that was a basement? Let me go and fix that. mb.
Gintoki

"Er... yeah, okay. Sure. I'll take your word for it." Gintoki said, rolling his eyes. There was no way in hell that he'd be freaked out by any thiii...

Gintoki's thoughts immediately slowed down as he walked past more and more monster girls. Though the initial two maids, he reasoned, were simply cosplaying and/or holograms, the more he passed the more it dawned on him that he was actually facing all of these monsters...

Except as girls, of course. That meant that it was actually a ghost....?

This mission went from 'okay' to 'creepy' to 'what the hell am I doing here' more quickly than he would've liked. Maybe he should've taken the situation a bit more seriously...

And as soon as he walked into the room with the actual jewel, his jaw may as well have dropped to the floor. That jewel was... Incredibly huge; how in the world that this vampire loli could've gotten that, much less someone taking it away, was nearly unfathomable.

"Uh. Okay. Well, if that's all we needed to know I'm going to be riiiight back. As in, outside of this mansion. Good bye. Bye. Peace." he said, quickly making a complete 180. No way in hell was he staying around ghosts and former dungeons and the like. Nope nope nope.

Kakine

"Aaand I saw that coming from a mile away. God dammit." Kakine sighed as the witch blazed off on her broom towards the city. Though he would have much preferred to go through this without incident, the way things tended to work out made that more or less an impossibility. Though by this point he would've turned his Dark Matter into something to propel them forward, the regulations the city had and his aversion to making this become an even bigger mess was... Yeah...

"Shoot. Sorry, 10032. We're gonna have to sprint." he said, turning the pair of earbuds he had given Marisa earlier into a small pair of beetles. At least this way, he could track her movements about the city without going on a wild goose chase.

"She's headed towards District 15, as expected, but i'm almost sure she'll begin to deviate from that course soon enough. We have to get moving." he said, beginning to dash after the girl on a broomstick.

Hazama

As Hazama continued to walk along musing to himself, a novel idea popped into his head. Given how old the kingdom was- which was, of course, to be expected- there were bound to be some sort of passageways into the inner workings of the city. Of course, the newer buildings were worthless to him in that regard, but maybe if he looked around for some older buildings...

And thus began Hazama's search for older buildings in search of underground passageways. Of course, barging into any occupied homes was a recipe for disaster, so in order to minimize the chance of him being discovered he began by searching through the most decrepit; around the twelfth house or so, he happened upon a strange girl- probably of Asian descent- popping out of the wall through a hole before the hole closed itself back up. That was... Convenient. Though the feeding of whole half-grown bird fetus thing to that girl- some sorta jiang-shi, given whatever he had managed to dig up from SE's databases and whatever it was he knew about the things- was a bit strange, he had to admit that such an ability would make his job tens of thousands of times easier. Well, if the girl had the ability to pop in and out of walls like that, she'd help him out and do it again.

"Pardon me." Hazama said, walking over to the two girls. "Noticed you just popped out of that wall over there. Mind helping me out a bit?"

He flashed a disarming smile, but given his experiences here in the past few days (and how everyone in the nobility seemed to want to brawl or turn him into a slave or some sorta shit like that) he wasn't entirely sure how well it'd work. Oh well, if worst came to worst he could use Ouroboros to fly the hell outta there and do some recon elsewhere. And... Well, to be fair, it was kind of unnatural seeing someone pop out of a wall like that. Maybe this was a bad idea.
Okay, now I am... Seriously confused by you, Bel. There was this whole argument about your char not wanting to use the shouts, and when the chance arises for you to use your blades instead you're still using shouts. Like... That feels super contradictory and it's bugging me.

Edit: Either that or I'm remembering things wrong. If it's the latter, then excuse my rudeness.
Take into account how people think and act. People who are going to going after it and get nothing are GOING to complain, while those who do will probably keep the info secret to not let anyone else know that they have this new potential. If the cases aren't documented, there's obviously not gonna be any info asking about it. I'd assume those at level 4 would, at the very least, not be blatant braggarts so others can catch up to them and all that. Again.
Kyouma groaned as he woke up, hit neck sore from accidentally falling asleep at his desk. He had spent the entirety of yesterday hunting down information and digging up whatever documentation about that urban legend that he had access to online. Granted, it was mostly cross-referencing cases from multiple sources and seeing what was common about each scenario before picking out the outliers, but in the end it seemed like it was still just that- a rumor. Though it did seem that what Torako said held true- that every incident occurred in the alleyways or something of the sort- it also seemed to be that none of the locations coincided with one another. He'd have to keep that information away from her for sure; there were already so many incidents, and if she was to know about this there was no telling what she might do in her own carelessness.

The research did also give him a bit more information, though. The bias was heavily in favor of the lower end of the Level spectrum in terms of who was victimized, but that was probably because they went to actively search out the source of the incident... And with the current spectrum of students having a majority in that, it's no wonder that the data seemed biased. But it seemed that some other Level 4s had hunted this down as well (probably out of greed) but failed to gain anything from it or even be affected by whatever was causing this. That was both reassuring and troublesome; if he stuck close to Torako, it was likely that he could prevent the incident, but that also meant that he couldn't continue investigating any further on his own. It'd also make him look like a total creeper, but details.

"Geh... I should really stop sleeping at my desk, though..." he complained as he cracked his neck and got out of his seat before changing his clothes and taking the leftover steak out of his fridge. Tossing it in the microwave, Kyouma glanced out the window and noticed Torako down below, (accidentally?) destroying the crepe of a Tokiwadai girl passing her by. The subsequent crackling electricity around her immediately gave away her identity to him, causing Kyouma to immediately rush out the door and fly down the steps to the ground floor.

"H-Hey, don't fly off the handle---!" he shouted as he burst out of the dorm building, a drop or two of sweat running down his forehead.
Well, if we're talking about newer people and where they'll end up, I put Hazama in the AgKverse in order to a) maybe get an SE victory for once (because I'll be damned if they don't need those) and to maybe get a Touhou character (aka Seiga) into SE by association.

Motivations! :D
More JoJo? Woo!

Luckily I've read everything up to part 8 so spoilers don't exist for me in that regard.
So how about that edited op tho? :D
lol, apparently the mention didn't go through. I just found this randomly and was like "why wasn't I invited yet?"

I have exams and stuff and may be getting myself wrapped up ibn a lot of stuff, but I might try to join in the near future.
Ah, DQIX. That was a fun game. Sadly, never beat any bonus bosses because I couldn't bother to grind everyone up for the quests and all that, and given that I never got a Metal King grotto to farm and stuff I never really beat more than a low level Baramos lol.

But yeah, I'm interested; sign me up, I guess.
Though I am curious as to how things will work before you hit Stornway, given that the Hexagoon was a solo boss iirc.
