MIKA

Mika missed most of the yelling from Anna as she came down the stairs, and it was probably a good thing as she would instantly want to go into mother mode and go down to the basement even though she couldn't go near enough the panic room without hurting for some reason, still unknown to her. She told herself for years she was allergic to the iron like how some people were allergic to silver or gold plating on costume jewelry. It was the only thing that made sense to her without her going insane trying to find any other non natural reasons for it.

As her bare feet touched the hard floor on the main floor, she walked through the hallway, smiling as Dean called out to her even before she made it into his full eyesight. Proof he really has learned every little thing about her, even down to what her footsteps sounded like on the old floorboards. As she met him at the doorway, she gladly took the mug of coffee, the smell of the dark liquid being a welcome fragrance to her after a good sleep. “Hey” she just managed to get out before he leaned in and kissed her, making her return said kiss just as deeply before pulling away just enough to take that first sip of much needed coffee. “So who's up? Other than Bobby” she asked him, having heard Bobby's voice on the phone as she came down the stairs. The temptation to just loop her fingers through one of his belt loops on his jeans, but she decided against it, at least for the time being.

She never tired of seeing him shirtless, it always reminded her how lucky she was to have him, but it also made it very difficult to keep her hands off of him.

NATALIA

Nat couldn't get the smile off her lips and out of her eyes when she saw him smile back at her. Him saying ‘good morning’ to her did make her lightly chuckle slightly, “think it's way past morning” she pointed out as he scooter closer to her, letting him tangle his legs up in hers so they could be closer together. Feeling his nose brush against hers, she closed her eyes and smiled at the sweet touch. The actions confirmed to her that she didn't dream of him admitting he loved her and that it really happened. He was here, being loving on her and making her feel loved. It felt like a moment of bliss in their chaotic and dark lives.

She kept her eyes on him when he spoke up, explaining that she did in fact sleep well, confirming how she felt. “Sore and achy, but mentally refreshed. Well, as refreshed as one can be in this life.” she smiled, telling him the full truth as she never wanted to lie to him. As she spoke, her eyes glanced down to check on his wounds that she saw hours earlier and saw they were healed, only a thin scar visible. Running her fingers over where the wounds once were, she felt relieved he had finally managed to heal up before looking back up at his face as he spoke once more. “I was stirring anyway, but I appreciate the calm wake up compared to how I could have been woken.” She smiled, lifting her hand and placing it on his cheek. “it's a much better wake up call than those idiots waking me.” She softly chuckled, now hearing Dean and Duke's voices from the other room, as well as Bobby's voice seemingly on a phone. “at least they sound much calmer and happier” she remarked.

Then he said he had to do something, but would be right back and she gave a nod. “okay” she replied, letting him go. She figured it would be to check on Anna so she wasn't worried in the slightest, just sighed happily and brushed her hand through her hair, resting it above her head. She never knew she could feel this way and if she was the corny type, she'd have sworn she was on Cloud 9 as all the chick flicks would say, as shw looked up at the ceiling. As soon as she was left alone, she felt him land on the bed again, turning her head back to look at him as he tangled himself back into her again. She chuckled at his remarks and calling himself a pet demon. “figured as much” she replied, wrapping her arm over him to pull herself closer to him.

She really didn't want to leave the room, enjoying their moment together alone and without spying eyes on them both. “But you're more than a pet demon. Even if it's just me that thinks so.” She smiled.

SAM

Seeing the fear and tears in Anna's eyes, he had that silent confirmation that she did indeed have a horrible hallucination and it no doubt involved him in some way. He let her climb onto his lap, holding her securely to him, as she took in whatever she could to ground herself into reality. He just wanted her to get through this first round of detox. “I'm here
” he repeated softly, keeping her safe in his arms and against him.

When the bang on the door happened, he looked up towards it, feeling Anna flinch at the sound. He looked down at Anna and gave a nod to say that yes, he heard Cason's voice as well and it was still reality. He listened to the words aimed at him, instantly being able to guess what Cason was implying he had forgotten Anna. Glancing down at Anna, he carefully moved her off of his lap, “I'm just going to the door, I won't leave your sight” he told her, standing up straight, dusting himself off and walking to the door. He had no idea if Cason was still outside the door or not, but he opened it up. If he was there, he would have asked how Nat was holding up, but with the door now open he saw Cason had already scarpered. Sighing, he looked down and saw the bottle on the floor. Bending down he picked it up and pulled the door shut once more, more for their privacy than for anything else and then walked back over to Anna.

He showed her the bottle, deciding that he would leave it to Anna's choice on what she wanted to do with it. “he left you another vial of his blood
.” He simply told her as he got closer and sat down next to her. “I don't wanna force you to drink it, but I also don't want to beg you not to. This is your decision to make and yours only.” He explained calmly, he just wanted her to have some control in what she did with her own self and body.
SAM AND LEXI

Sam knew what a big deal it was for Dean to agree to help Anya and let her in this life. He knew the weight it held and what sacrifices it meant to become a hunter, all three of them did. It felt a bigger deal knowing that bringing in someone new was almost a bigger risk since they relatively recently lost Mika to the life. He was convinced that Dean would be adamant Anya was not to be a hunter after they lost Mika permanently, so to see him agreeing was one hell of a step forward.

He also agreed that tonight was to remain a relaxed night, and no sparring or training was to happen. He saw how elated Anya seemed to be at bringing accepted into the growing gang. He listened as Anya accepted Dean's terms, glad that she was fine about getting protected via the anti possession tattoo, which reminded him, he couldn't remember if Lexi had such protection or not. That was something he'd have to ask in the morning.

Lexi watched the three of them discuss everything over and saw how excited Anya was. She did smile at the sight but she had to hope that Anya wouldn't lose that smile when time came to really bringing her the hard times. She really hoped Anya would be strong enough to cope or this could go completely wrong. Seeing the two of them being nice to Anya made Lexi feel rather proud of Dean for keeping to his promise of being civil with the girl. "If the boys don't have anything have, I no doubt will" she chimed in about the clothes before looking towards Dean as he looked at her after his little speech.

Sam gave Dean and Lexi both a look of thanks at them being so open to all of this before gently taking Anya's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze to say 'told you he'd come around'. Seeing the two of them be so sweet, Lexi couldn't help but smile once more, giving them both a friendly wink and then got up from her seat. Picking up her plate, she took it to the sink where Dean was and gently nudged him with her hip onto his. "proud of you" she whispered to him with her smile still firmly on her lips.

"So, shall we get a room set up for our young padawan?" She asked him with a light melodic chuckle, showing that she took had her little nerdy ways at times. She also just wanted to get Anya settled in so she could head to her own room to chill out. It had strangely been a long day and she was ready to kick her boots off and relax. Although she had a feeling she'd be thinking about Dean most of the time she stayed in her room alone.

Whilst she was there, Sam couldn't help but watch his friend and brother at the sink, there was definitely something there between them, even he could see it and it made him smile. "Chances of them not staying in their own rooms all night?" He whispered to Anya with an amused smirk.
THE LUX BAR

Maze gave Lucifer a nod and walked off to go to where he kept the files hidden and safe. Whilst she was gone, the others stayed put. Fia found what Serena suddenly said interesting, she never thought there could have been another book similar to this one. She thought like, most books John kept, it was a one off. Seems she really was still learning as they went on with this mission. "can you describe the one you're thinking of or remembering Serena?" She asked her.

JOHN'S PLACE

Kay appreciated that Bane accepted her apology before she walked away and into the kitchen with John. She could see how stressed he had gotten and she felt like a lot of that was because of her. "I don't fully know myself but when I was cooling off and gathering myself, this shadow appeared. They gave me information that I can only tell you about and no one else..." She began to say, not sure how to explained what she now knew. She didn't know how John was going to take the news.

"In three days something is going to happen, I don't fully know what or how, but Serena will be taken and we have to stop it and stop Bane from getting seriously hurt. It's gonna happen after something called a Helios vessel appears?" She began explaining, trying to remember absolutely everything she was told. "it's all going to lead us finding a manor somewhere and I have to let Serena show absolutely no mercy. Anyone whose in that manor with us is not to leave...we have to burn it down...with us inside. Repeat what was once before or something...." She said, but it was clear she still didn't like what she was told.

"John....I think you gotta let us go up with this manor...wherever it is" she spoke looking at him.
MIKA

When it was clear that Dean had lost any kind of control just by her telling him she loved him, she knew there was no stopping them both. She couldn't help the smile from appearing when he bent down to get his boots off as swiftly as he could. They had been here before, they knew what they were doing so neither of them got clumsy. The moment they reached the bed and he sat down looking up at her, she took in his face as he took in hers. It always baffled her why he always took her back and how they had managed to actually stay together this time round. He may have wondered why she stuck around him, but she thought the exact same thing.

Feeling his arms round the back of her legs, she followed the silent command and climbed into his lap. She kept her arms round his neck, and hearing him do the rare thing which was actually telling her he loved her she felt those butterflies in her stomach, just as she did when he said it for the first time when they were kids. She gave a nod, “I do” she replied, when in her head she thought ‘I do now’. She let him shrug her jacket off her shoulders and arms before she chucked it on the floor behind them both, letting him just pull her into another desperate kiss which she gladly returned. Clothes coming off stage by stage
.

Later that day/in the evening

Mika didn't want to wake up, subconsciously wishing she could sleep for a hundred years and just let the world burn around her. She ached, felt heavy and did not want to walk into more drama downstairs. However her body and mind was telling her differently as it pulled her out of a deep sleep, just enough to keep her eyes closed and be considered asleep, but awake enough to be aware of her surroundings. Her breathing change being the sign that she was awake enough to hear and feel Dean speak and move. She felt his fingers through her hair, causing her to readjust her head ever so slightly on him as if to lean into his touch.

When he spoke, she let out a sigh through her nose before slowly opening her eyes as he tilted her head up. “Okay
I'll be down in a little while
I just need five more minutes” she mumbled as he carefully lifted her head to place on the pillow as he got out of bed in one swift motion. Without him in their bed, she grabbed ahold of what she considered his pillow and pulled it into her, not even paying attention if he was still in the room as she did so. Closing her eyes again, she refused to get up until she literally had five extra minutes longer than Dean. Hearing his footsteps walk out the room and down the stairs, she snuggled right under the duvet and clung to his pillow even more. The bed just felt so much more comfortable than usual and she put it down to having not been in it for a while, or the fact she went to bed on a really good note with Dean.

Mika did eventually get in out of bed, walking over to her chest of drawers and pulling out a pair of shorts and hoodie. She figured they weren't in any hurry to leave the house and that just some clothes to lounge in would be enough. Appropriately covered, she did make her way downstairs.

NATALIA

Seeing Cason actually shiver for the first time was something Natalia didn't think she'd ever witness. She didn't even know demons could shiver, she figured like with most things human felt or did, it was out of question. Yet once again, another clue that maybe, just maybe, there was something human still in him, fighting to be seen and she saw it. As he lifted his hand up, she let him wipe the dirt off her face, hoping that things didn't just get awkward between them. His words making her feel relieved that it didn't seem to.

As he trailed his hand down to her chin, she didn't once turn away from him, instead she just followed his movements with her own, letting him lift her head enough to kiss her in a way she hadn't ever been kissed by him before. Her eyes closed and she returned the kiss just as softly, she wasn't just saying she loved him, she really did and she knew none of her family would ever understand it.

Like Cason, Natalia knew what this meant. It was dangerous to get close to him, she still remembered trying to fight him off in the crypt, trying to pretend he wasn't even there as he annoyed her to her core, but he still got through her walls. He reminded her, opened up memories of the times he always came to her room in the asylum and kept her alive, snuck her extra food and water and made her not lose hope on getting out. He was ALWAYS there for her, even when she had forgotten it. Their connection in her mind ran so deep that only they could understand it. Yet it didn't stop the fact she was now his weakness, and if word got out she would be in even more danger every day than she already was due to her surname. Being a Winchester and Cason's love was not going to be easy, but it was a rough road she was willing to be on.

She smiled back at him when he smirked at her, that stupid stupid smirk which always got her smiling and brought her round to him and kissed him back once more

Later that day

For the first time in what would have felt absolute forever, Natalia actually slept soundly. No nightmares which she was expecting to have, no painful memories trying to flood her mind
nothing. Just an empty deep sleep. Part of it was due to seeing the source of her PTSD come crumbling down and part of it was having Cason beside her, making her know that she was indeed safe. It initially felt weird taking Bobby's bed, but exhaustion had won out.

Partially laying facing towards Cason, she had barely moved in her sleep, in touching distance but not actually clinging to him. She only began to stir once Cason had been lightly stroked the side of her face, her eyelids beginning to flicker before slowly opening, a smile appearing on her lips and a content sigh escaping them, knowing that touch well enough at this stage. “hi” she softly greeted him, looking up at him.

SAM

Sam had stayed awake for as long as he could until he was content that Anna had fallen asleep and wasn't going to start having any nightmares to disturb said sleep. He wanted to make sure that when he let himself sleep she was okay, and so when he was happy that she was being able to sleep relatively peacefully, he let himself drift off on the floor beside her bed, close enough so if she had to wake him, she could without worrying too much.

He was still asleep when Anna began the process of coming down off the demon blood and the hullicinating started. Oblivious to what was going on around him, he had fallen into a deeper sleep than he actually wanted to. The exhaustion far greater than he ever knew. It was only when Anna began screaming his name and shaking his face that he woke up a d looked right at her, worry in his eyes at what was happening. “what...what? You okay?” He asked, panicked for her safety until he remembered where they were and putting everything together in his head. “it's okay, it's okay, I'm here. You're safe, it's just the detox remember..I got you, I got you” he said, sitting up quickly and engulfing her in his arms to hold her protectively.

“I've always got you” he cooed, keeping a hold of her, refusing to let go. If she woke him up this stressed out then he had to summise that the hullicinating started and it was one hell of a bad one. “I'm here
I'm here” he softly kept saying in her ear, kissing the side of her head.
THE LUX BAR

When Drake backed her up on what she said and what she did, she nodded. They were clasping at so many straws, they just found themselves looking for anything that might help. She glanced over as Serena sat down next to Chas, as they looked through the photos of the pages that Fia took on her phone, wondering if Chas knew of the book at all.

"I'm not sure, it sort of rings a bell" Chas replied as he flipped through the photos then recognised the last page. "I've seen this before" he tapped the screen. The photo showed an illustration of what looked like ancient drawings on a wall. The drawings were crude and there was paragraphs above and below it, making him zoom in to see it better. "I know of the book this came from. Took me a moment but it does familiar. John hasn't looked at this book in years, pretty sure it got lost in the old archives" he explained.

"That's where I found it- in the archives. Except it was locked up behind a book shelf in a drawer" Fia told him, which made Chas look up with a raised eyebrow at her. "yeah...I know all of dad's secret storage drawers, don't tell him though." She admitted in such a typical teenager tone that Chas couldn't even be disappointed in her. He just smirked and shook his head, "you're definitely John's kid. I won't tell him" he reassured her.

Their conversation got cut short when Lucifer spoke up to Maze about missing people. "Kidnapped?" Chas asked, looking between Maze and Lucifer. Maze nodded, "yeah...the detective commented the other day how kidnappings have risen in the city lately and the station is overworked in trying to solve them" Maze explained.

"We can help. I know tracking spells and stuff" Fia chimed up, looking around at her group to see if they agreed with her offer to help.

JOHN'S PLACE

Kay listened to the shadow and gave a nod. "okay...thank you for helping me." She replied before walking away and back to the room where she saw John pacing and Bane rubbing his eyes. "I'm back..." She said, a lot calmer than she originally was when she walked out the room. "I'm sorry for snapping Bane, it's just a lot for me to comprehend. I shouldn't be taking it out on you" she apologised honestly.

She then walked over to John and touched his arm, "I need to talk to you in private" she quietly said. Not because she was keeping it from Bane, but because she was generally quiet after having an anxiety attack.
MIKA

Mika was glad that Dean nodded his agreement to come to bed with her and not insist on staying with Esme. It was that horrible selfish emotion coming into play a little bit, but she was determined to remember what Duke told her. ‘don't let him let you slip through his fingers’. those words continued to play in her head, really making an effort mentally to take on board his wise words. They both had to learn and put that mantra into action. If Duke can try and do it to keep Esme by his side, then she can do it when it came to Dean. She waited where she stood for him, seeing the looks between him and Anna in the process and was glad that everyone was too tired to yell at each other anymore.

Keeping her attention on to Dean, she gave a small smile when she saw him ruffle his hair, a clear sign he truly was beat and needed to rest. His fingers lifting and brushing against her cheek made her smile back, briefly closing her eyes and reopening them again. “Yeah, just you and me” she replied as she followed his hands down to her own, holding his hand back gladly. Feeling the familiar tug, she followed him upstairs, the ascent feeling like more of an effort than it usually was due to how drained she felt of energy. She was shocked she was even still awake at this point, having been convinced that from the moment she yawned in front of Bobby earlier, she was going to be out cold in minutes. Yet somehow she had managed to remain awake and alert enough to help Duke and calm him down before heading to bed herself.

Stepping inside, she felt such calmness wash over her seeing her room. It didn't matter how long she went before coming back to it, it always felt like an eternity since the time prior. She didn't even get a chance though to take it all in or step over to the bed when Dean turned to her and kissed her so deeply and intensely, it felt like if she wasn't so firmly in place, she would have been knocked over. Instantly she closed her eyes and kissed him back, she knew this kiss. She knew it all too well, he was desperate to wash himself off all of his emotions from the night and just forget for a moment. She felt his desperation as she kissed him, lifting her arms up and wrapping them around his neck, her fingers wrapping into the back of his hair.

It was then she knew that she was just as desperate for his attention and for a moment to forget about all the tension, anger and fear they all went through. She just wanted him and him alone. “I love you Dean” she breathed between the kisses, forcing herself to try and control herself around him, even though it was always difficult to do. Could she even sleep now after this moment? She didn't know. She had just as much desperation to keep a hold of him in this moment, Duke was right. She couldn't just let him go again, she was done losing the infamous Dean Winchester. Guiding him to the bed, Mika still couldn't stop kissing him, even though she knew they'd have to if they were to get into bed.

NATALIA

Before she got into the bath, she listened to his explanation and she hated what she heard. He went through so much just to keep Anna safe and alive, only to then get out and have to save her, all while injured. The news that he had to feed Anna didn't come as a full surprise now, knowing that Anna was consuming demon blood and a lot of her power was from it. She figured it was because of that, he got away. She didn't once think that Dean ordered everyone to leave him to die or made the injury in his side worse than it was before. His reassurance that he was okay and right here with her made her nod. She really didn't know what she would do if he never made it back to her. It was such a strange new feeling for her to feel, especially as she swore to herself that being hunter meant there was no time for relationships. Nat always thought it was stupid to get involved with people - even Dean and Mika. The anguish and heartache those two put each other through, she never wanted to experience that, but here she was falling in love with Cason.

As she waited for him to get in the bath, she kept thinking about how much he had changed her thought process on letting people in and allowing others to care about her. Not to mention the constant need to tell herself she wasn't going to drown. She felt him get in behind her, making her feel a lot more secure in the tub. She listened as he cupped water into his hands and began to wash the blood out of her hair, tilting her head ever so slightly so it would be easier for him. The silence for once wasn't uncomfortable, it was calming as she let him wash her.

Then he spoke up and it made a small smile appear on her lips for a moment, “well that's good” she replied, feeling him leave little kisses on her shoulder, she had a millisecond of tensing up before she relaxed partially back into him. “I know
.” She replied, but she never tired hearing him tell her she was safe with him. In some ways, she felt safer with him than she did her own brother's and she always felt with them. Yet tonight just shook that opinion greatly. Dean told her she would be safe in his car, that if she just stayed out, she would be safe. Sam said it, Mika practically said it and yet the demons still got her. Still took her to the one place that has caused her so much trauma and memory loss, she didn't think she'd ever get over it.

Then the three words came as she felt his head against her own. Three words she didn't think he would or could ever say to her or feel for her. An emotion she figured would always be one sided. It took her by surprise and she froze for a moment before a warm and shy smile crept onto her face. A smile that didn't have any fear or worry behind it, a smile that didn't need to be faked to fake she was okay. It was genuine. “I love you too Cason
” she spoke back.

Lifting her head forward, away from his just enough to turn herself the smallest amount to be able to look at him. “I love you” she spoke again, as the rest of her body began to relax and she had stopped hugging her knees. She needed to look him in the eyes when she said it a second time, so he could see for himself she meant it when she said it. To show him that she wasn't just saying it for the sake of saying it, knowing how much of a big deal it was for a demon to express that large of an emotion. It was unheard of, and yet here he was. Declaring it to her of all people, the one person who not long ago thought romance was ridiculous in her line of work and life and she was declaring it back.

SAM

Sam had given her time to come over the threshold and into the panic room at her own pace. He knew how hard it must be for her and what they were getting into by sleeping for a while in there. When she finally came in, he saw how she looked at the bed, cuffs still on them and it didn't take much thinking to figure out what was going through her mind. So he was glad he could try and reassure her by telling her he had absolutely no plans on using them on her.

He watched her as she sat down on the bed, and it was becoming clear that now she was in here, the demon blood was already starting to react to the iron built room. He just didn't know how much other stuff was rattling around in her head. Sitting beside her, he took her hands in his own. “I will never leave you alone in here. I'm gonna crash right next to you on the floor” he told her, lifting her hands up to his lips and kissing them. “I meant it when I said we go through this together. You and me” he added, lowering her hands once more and helping her remove her shirt so she didn't pull too many more stitches. Once it was off, he opened the kit and began to rummage to find something to clean around it and be as tender as he could be.

He made sure to really check it over carefully and thoroughly, grabbing some rubbing alcohol out of the kit and some cotton balls to clean the blood that had run down her arm before focusing on around the stitches. “sorry if it stings” he said quietly and softly. Once it was all cleaned up and he could see it properly, he felt he could gauge how big a cover to put on it. “Think you'll be alright. Looks worse than it is. But I will add a couple more stitches to replace the ones that ripped” he told her, grabbing a needle and thread. Opening the sterile packets, he began to work carefully on her shoulder, knitting the stitches off and then wrapping it. “you should be good now, just try and be careful with your movements” he suggested to her with a smile.

Putting the first aid kit away under the fold away bed, he placed a soft kiss on her lips, tucking her hair behind her ears. “I'm gonna be right here. Keeping you safe, and if you wake up needing me you only have to tap me because I'm gonna lay right next to you” he explained.
THE LUX BAR

Fia glanced at Serena as she spoke up and asked about how long she and Drake had been in this time point. It made her glance to Drake briefly before looking back at Serena, "It was a day before I was first spotted in a distance. We had been watching from hiding spots and following to get try and get information or clues. We didn't exactly plan to be spotted at all by you guys. We initially thought it'd be a recon job, get what I wanted from the house and then we'd be going back." She admitted.

"And what was it you wanted to get from the house Fia?" Chas asked her, now curious and making Fia pull out her phone and bring up a photo that she took of pages from the book of Phoenix kind. "This...this book is pretty destroyed in our time. Pages ripped out and burned. I need to take photos of those missing pages" she explained as Chas took her phone and looked through the pages she photographed.

JOHNS PLACE

Kay sighed and nodded, "okay..." She replied, forcing herself to stand up once more. "Thank you....for calming me" she finally said quietly. "I... I need to go apologise to Bane" she remarked, mentally gathering herself.
SAM AND LEXI

Both Sam and Lexi smirked and gave each other a well known secret look between them when they witnessed Dean just shovel the food into his mouth. It was a look they would always give each other when both of them were amused by people's actions, and Dean eating like it was going to be the only meal he'll ever eat again was one of those times. Lexi silently chuckled when she broke the glance and continued eating when Dean spoke up again to Anya.

Though both of them had admit, his question was a valid one and something that they both had wondered themselves. Just Sam would never admit that to Dean or he knew he'd get the whole 'so why didn't you ask her yourself instead of playing tonsil tennis?' questions thrown at him. So all Sam and Lexi did was listen, curious to Anya's answer.

Her answer made Lexi feel sorry for the girl. Most hunters knew what that feeling was like. In their career, it was impossible to not lose numerous people they cared about. It was a curse of the job in Lexi's eyes and she was naive to think she could find someone she loved and wanted to marry whilst still being in the job. Her job was got her fiancée killed, so she knew where Anya was coming from. The only difference was Anya wasn't a hunter and may not have built coping mechanisms like they did. but Lexi most definitely didn't see it as lucky to be the sole survivor each and every time. She didn't know what she would class it as but it wasn't lucky.

Sam also listened and he was actually surprised that Dean wasn't being standoff-ish with Anya or rude. He was actually being considerate and just pointing out the truths of what it means to become a hunter. He was so used to seeing Dean drive people away from this lifestyle, that it seemed almost out of character for him to be even remotely considering helping Anya and accepting her wish.

Sam glanced back at Anya when she glanced at him and gave her a soft smile, letting her type out her reply and even he had to chuckle at the idea of a whistle round her neck or carrying an air horn. He and Lexi couldn't help but raise a slight eyebrow when Dean stayed he would give her a deal if Anya really was set on becoming a hunter.

He and Lexi both listened to what Dean was saying, both nodding in agreement over the statement of giving Anya backup in the form of the three of them. Lexi would even be willing to do sparring sessions and teach her how to defend herself better in a fight. "We can all help you" she spoke up, finishing her meal. "And Dean may say fatten you up, I say a few good sparring sessions to find your strengths and how to utilize your small frame to your advantage. We'll make a badass outta you in no time" she smiled.

Sam also smiled at their words before nodding, "and yeah, I'll take you to get protected, I can explain after we've eaten if you want" he told Anya, feeling thankful that both Lexi and Dean were being a lot more accommodating to Anya than he initially thought they would be.

MIKA

Duke's remark about the scars making him look more rugged and about his blue eyes getting her on his good side years ago did make her chuckle. She couldn't deny it, there was a reason she considered him her puppy of a brother. He just gave her those big puppy eyes and she did finally cave and got on his good side. “alright puppy” she smirked, her own way of telling him he did have a point.

When she spoke to him, getting stuff off her chest, she didn't intend for Duke to suddenly almost lecture her in the sense of calling her out on how stupid the idea of losing Dean was. She looked at him and saw the mischievous look and knew whatever she did say in this rv, it was safe with Duke. She never realised how much she needed his opinion on things until he spoke and said some pretty profound words. It got her thinking about everything that led up to now. Then he told her to shut her mouth for dumping emotions on him and she couldn't help but smirk ever so slightly as suddenly it felt the roles were reversed.

He may not fully know it, but he definitely gave her something to think about and started to get through to her. With his reply about not needing anything else, she gave a nod and picked up the first aid kit, ready to put it away when he grabbed her hand and thanked her. A soft smile appeared on her face as she gave him a nod, “You’re welcome Duke. We'll always have each other's backs, remember that” she told him, pulling her hand out of his, walked to where she took the kit out and put it back then exited the RV. The cool morning air hit her face, making her wrap her arms round herself as she went back inside. ‘Duke you really have grown up a lot over the years
really given me something to think about’ she thought to herself. She had to make an effort to not let herself slip and Dean slip through her fingers.

They had come so far since they got back together, matured a great deal and she didn't want to be the cause of making that all go back ten steps. Hovering outside the back door, she took a couple of deep breaths before walking inside, closing the door behind her. She noticed everyone had scattered from the kitchen and only Dean, Bobby and Esme were left in the living room. Unaware of everything that went down with Esme, she stepped up to the threshold frame that linked the kitchen to the living room and leaned against the frame. “Duke is fine now, I've touched up his pulled stitches, covered them properly and he's now gonna crash for a bit in the RV.” She spoke up, more for Bobby's benefit than Dean's but figured Dean would appreciate the update as well. She saw Esme out cold on the couch, her mouth moving but from where she wasz she couldn't actually hear anything being muttered.

She then looked across to Dean, “I'm heading up to bed, coming?” She asked, not sure if he was wanting to stay with Esme or actually be with her. But either way she had to crash, and crash hard. It was then she heard the front door open again and she knew that meant Sam and Anna were coming back inside as well. Leaning back to look down the hallway, she saw Sam enter first, Anna following close behind. “Duke said there's his couch on the RV if it's any good for you guys” she called down.

NATALIA

Seeing Cason sigh with relief when she agreed to take a bath, she saw just how worried he was about her
had been about her. Natalia found herself raising an eyebrow at his question, wondering what on earth he was getting at, until she followed his gaze to the bathroom and looked back at him. His smile making it really difficult not to do the same facial expression, even though it did hurt her face to do so. She watched as he got the bath filled up and without even getting to the bathroom and she had to finally smirk when he was done. “Show off” she quipped, before letting him gently pull her off the bed to stand up, “the only thing you got wrong there is that I'd rather after the bath, you laid with me. I know you don't sleep
but I don't wanna lay alone” she told him as he guided her to the bathroom.

His words about letting her decide whether she wanted him to turn around was sweet. If only the others could see this human side of him that she saw. She knew he wasn't human, he would never be human again, but there was a sense of humanity still in him and she wished people like Dean would acknowledge that. “Cason, we have slept together, it's fine” she told him as she began to kick her boots off and carefully getting her jeans off. She had to admit to herself that the closer she got to getting into the bath and letting the warm water soothe her aching muscles, the slightly more relaxed she felt but there was still that sense of fear of sliding underwater and not coming back out. It was such a conflict in her head, but she kept telling herself with Cason by her side, she could do this. She overcame her fears once a couple of years ago, she could do it again.

When Cason lifted his shirt over his head and was just standing there in his undone pants, she finally saw the state he was in. Sadness and concern overcame her face as she lifted her hand up and gently glided her fingertips around the area. “What happened? Why didn't you say anything?” She asked him, staring at the wound iron caused. She trusted his prediction on when he'd be healed but that didn't stop her worrying about him. He saved her when he was wounded himself and she felt even more grateful to him. She just wanted to fix him even though she didn't know the first thing about healing a demon, her fingers running up his chest slowly, her eyes following suit before she looked up at him in the eyes. She couldn't even say anything, just looked him in the eyes to see if whatever he told her was indeed the truth.

It took a moment or two before she had to force herself to look away, properly strip down and slowly get in the bath, making sure there was room for him. She initially kept ahold of the sides of the bath, convinced that if she did that she wouldn't slip underwater before Cason was in behind her and being her support.

When he was in, she felt a lot more secure and safer, making herself let go of the sides and place her hands in the water and wrap her arms round her legs.

SAM

Sam felt the same way as Anna, he was done hearing intense and massive announcements from everyone. He was also done seeing a brewing fight looming between others, and hoped that a fight wouldn't break out between Dean and Duke or even Mika and Dean. So when she stated his thoughts, he couldn't help but give a sad smile and nod, “was thinking the same thing just now” he replied to her, keeping ahold of her hand as she stood up and remembered about her shoulder having the hellhound bite in it. Despite the nurses clearly having done a reasonably good good, he was still concerned about it because unlike the nurses, he knew what did it.

“Well I'm gonna look at it anyway, it has bled a bit and I'd feel better if I saw to it myself” he told her calmly, seeing her pause at the front door. Lifting his free hand forward, he opened the door and stepped inside in front of Anna as she followed him in. It was then he looked up and saw Mika leaning back to see them come back inside. “thanks, but I think we might crash downstairs. I can sort the bed out for Anna and I'll just sleep on some blankets” he replied to her. He gave Mika the look to say ‘we both decided on it to play safe’. Mika gave him a nod of understanding and stood up straight again as Sam walked towards the basement door, cranking it open and leading Anna down the steps.

“It's just for a few hours this time, that's all we need to remember” he told her, giving her hand a squeeze of reassurance, leading her into the panic room before he let go of her hand to go sort the bed out for her. He had no plans on cuffing her to it this time, just focusing on making sure she had a pillow and blankets, whilst hoping that being down here It would drown out the sound of Cason's heart just enough to make her relax a bit. It took him a few minutes to do so, but when he was done, he patted the mattress, “alright, let's check that shoulder of yours then you can sleep” he told her as he himself perched on the end of the makeshift bed waiting for her.
MIKA

She didn't want to come across as a mother to him, he was a grown man after all, but she never wanted to hear him say such words to her. It was heartbreaking that he basically implied he wasn't good enough to survive and come back like Dean was. He was such an amazing person to Mika, that she never wanted him to feel he was inadequate in comparison. If she had known just how much Dean and somehow made Duke feel like this and for so long, she would have said something to Dean years ago because she wouldn't have been able to help herself. Mika let him think about her words before he also agreed to let her check him over. Sighing with relief, she let him take his shirt off, throwing it to the side. His scars never phased her, she had her own after all and he was one of few people who had also seen hers, as she was always uncomfortable with people seeing them. It was one reason she had them tattooed over when she was saying Ethan for a while years ago. It was her way of being able to pretend they didn't exist even though they showed through the art of her back.

“At this rate you'll have more battle scars than I do and that's an impressive feat” she smiled as she stood up and went to the mini cupboard that always held his first aid kit. Walking back to him, she knew his bed was the best place for him to be. “just lay back on there, may as well as get sort of comfortable if it's even possible.” she told him, helping him get comfortable and then perching on the edge, placing the kit down in front of her before unzipping it.

When he was ready, she grabbed some gauze and cotton wool to tend to his weeping stitches, making sure to be as gentle as she possibly could. “As for your other remark? I feel ya on that one. I feel like all I've done is try to keep it together for everyone else. I've gone from spending my days locked in my room drinking my waking hours away to grieve Dean, to having to keep everyone together whilst trying to accept Esme and Dean's closeness. I feel like I've not really had a moment to just enjoy having him back you know? Feels like I'm losing him all over again and I'm just expected to accept his ex being looked after by him.” She sighed as she focused on his wound. She then half scoffed, shaking her head, realising it probably wasn't fair dumping all this on Duke.

“Sorry, shouldn't be bringing you into this
” she apologized, drying up the surrounding area and redoing the pulled stitches before she covered it for him to keep it clean. With a sigh, she looked up at him and gave him a small smile. “You're all good. Want me to bring you in anything? Another drink? More blankets?” She asked.

NATALIA

Seeing Cason wince at her words confirmed her suspicions that it wasn't an easy thing to hear. She didn't like hearing those words out of her own mouth, but what was the point in lying to herself? The physical scars and trauma was one thing to endure, but it was the mental ones that she really struggled with. Just as she thought she was making progress with the original altrauma, now she had a whole load of new trauma dumped on top of it. What she wasn't letting on was that that torture brought up new memories she thought she forgot and now part of her head was trying to filter through what was past and what was present trauma in her head.

All she wanted was to go to sleep and try and not dream about what she endured again. Yet it seemed just her actions of trying to lay down wasn't acceptable enough for Cason, as he pulled her back upright and told her she was to go shower. She did trust him, and she probably did look a state, but she just couldn't care. The very idea of water rushing over her face terrified her, and judging by Cason’s change of idea, it seemed her face showed how much she didn't want it. The suggestion they shared a bath instead so she wasn't alone did make her smile lightly as it felt like such a ‘cason’ way of suggesting such a thing. She thought about what he was saying, promising to never leave her side and as he held her, placed a gentle kiss on her and promised he'd be there the whole time she eventually nodded.

“Okay
okay I'll take a bath” she finally agreed, caving to his pleas and negotiating. She hated being such a grump around him as it was becoming clear to her that she was worrying him to an extent and she didn't want to do that. “Guess that bath better get filled up then” she said to him with a small smile.

SAM

Sam had to admit, he didn't know where they were going to sleep either. The place was a full house right now and the thought of possibly going into a house still filled with tension wasn't the most inviting thing to think about. The moment she closed her eyes as she sighed, he had to wonder what was that uncomfortable thought that she was now thinking, before he suddenly got his answer. Of all things he could have imagined her saying, saying she’d go in the basement was not one of those things. Especially when she had such an adverse reaction to the door that led to the basement when they arrived.

“i'm surprised to hear you say that but I'm proud of you for even thinking it. I wouldn't leave you alone down there. If you go there, then so do I.” He told her honestly. “So how about we go back inside and find out where everyone else is crashing and we'll go from there?” He suggested, knowing that the only one he could think of confidently was Mika's choice of sleeping place. Though, with how protective she was being over Duke, it also wouldn't surprise him if she changed up her plans.

He stood up from the step and held out his hand to her to help her up. “I do wanna check that injury of yours though. Get that tidied up and recovered.” he added. Now that they were even discussing sleeping arrangements, it was all he could honestly think about other than recovering her stitches to keep them clean. He never acknowledged just how tired he actually was until now.
