@drallinix okay youll have to alter the stuff about him not dying because for this tournament he can die or at least be defeated or incapacited to count as a loss. Power down his ice abilities as well, not an instant freeze with a touch it will take some effort.

So I've got a post apocalyptic world in mind where the only real surviving technology are warplanes and jets from the 30s-70s which you as a team of rag tag pilots/mechanics restore and customize to become your own Ace Custom warplanes. You will need to literally dogfight for your life as the land is filled with mercenaries and bandits all flying various craft to hunt, rob and kill you> Also sticking together and finding resources in a world of limited fuel, money and water will be part of the challenges.

So yeah this RP is sort of my love (check my Avi!) and I really want to get it right this time.
I'm building a world as we speak, so please join if you feel you can commit and contribute to this world.

I also have a very cool game mechanic based on team work for the battles which I would be happy to show you if I get interest.

Some of its inspirations are Fire Shark (obviously) Star Fox plus a little Armored Core and Advance Wars

NOTE: Whether its a 1918 biplane a 1940s spitfire or a Jet from the 70s, because of the advanced dystopian technology they can all compete equally, the style and age of the plane is purely of asthetics.

Brief on the situation

The Year is 2149, war has ravaged civilisation beyond recognition nations are destroyed and the population of the world has been shrunk down to a tiny 400 million, most of the world is inhabitable. So the few livable lands are fought over viciously. On of these such lands is a part of the U.S. that used to be the Nevada deserts over Las Vegas, which has been nicknamed 'Neon Heaven' rich in resources and defense where the last hint of a decent place to live in the entire world is still available.

Roland Shaw is a veteran mercenary pilot from Canada who has been fighting since he could remember, in the last 10 months he has been in the UK working with a group of resistance fighters called the 'Albion Avengers' who want to not only go to Neon Haven but begin rebuilding the new world with their very own democracy.
Roland is not interested in politics but know he must get to neon haven for his own reasons and the self appointed freedom fighters have been able to contact some of the best pilots around the world to join Roland in his quest to find Neon Haven and clear establish a deal for the AA to migrate and negotiate with the city.

Now you enter, a group of rag tag pilots, looking to survive in this hostile world with your Custom Warplanes you begin in a large plane hangar in Scotland which was built of a beautiful farm land prepare to meet your wing-mates.

Battle City: The Tale Of The Tournament

Brief

So this will be a story RP based around a tournament, you will enter a character and that character will transported to 'the lobby'
a beautiful room where you will meet your opponents and talk while the knockout tournament commences, there will be room for 8 players

no more, no less, but if they drop out I will keep reserves on hand.

After the first few 'dibs' I will create the OOC are you ready for the Coliseum?

there is no strict CS template, use whatever CS you have for your own set of arena ready characters but remember for this RP there will be dialouge so be sure to have a personality in mind. I'll reserve slots for Characters when acceptable characters are submitted.

Every time the is a fight, someone is watching, studying, intensely gripped by love and admiration for the art of combat, that someone is a magician who knows that he isn't the only one who likes to see combat, and that people will pay a lot to see it.

Once every 5 years the Magician Dynamo holds a tournament, and if you are reading this, then you have been invited. Dynamo will pick 8 warriors who he has seen fight before and he invites 10 million attendees from all across the 7 realms to watch from their local coliseums, he then uses his magic for the tournament to be views wherever they may be so they may see it as if were happening in their own lands. Dynamo invites these 8 brave warriors to compete for the Stone of Kane which allows the winner to be granted one wish for when they return to their homes. The other 7 will have their fates left to Dynamo.

The tournament will take place in a classic knockout style fashion and the losers of each round will face each other in a separate runner up bracket for which the prize is a secret, in between each bout the other 6 will be able to watch from the 'lobby' a beautiful room where they will be pampered like gods. This will also be the best time to learn about your opponents before facing them.

The 'Regulators' will be keeping everything under control and updating the combatants on the rules that Dynamo decides to introduce.
