Wastelanders: The Dystopian Convoy

Working on a post now, but I wanted to ask a question; while we're obviously going to find more gear during our journey, are we going to get any opportunities to tune-up or modify our vehicles? Like, say, if we got a new weapon, could we choose to enhance our firepower stat slightly?

No stats are fixed now, but you will be able to find more weapons, but the effectiveness is tied to your stats.

The Ink Sparks Bookstore has finally been added to the town locations!

If you're tired of staring at screens for work, pounding out papers for school or breaking records at the Lancom Arcade then look no farther than this quiet spot. Located off the corner of the Shine City Mall parking lot, where the flickering streetlights like to hang out, Ink Sparks is your final stop on the quest for a good book or a private nook. This might be the only store in Shine City to offer both excellent light for reading and dramatic shadows, perfect for an adventurous meeting or a game of cards. Under new ownership.

Jacques was truly lost in this blackjack dealer's eyes, its like his mind was still trying to make sense of how attractive he was, and even with a fairly sober mind it was tough. But he managed to retain some social ettiquette and pulled up a stool to the blackjack table, motioning the dealer to deal him in as he answered his question.

Well, I have been on TV but its not really my world, I host festivals internationally. I'm not in Shine County that often but I actually hosted the Masquerade Ball at the beginning of this year if you around the Town Hall at that time? I suppose after that I sort of just fell in love with shine city and decided to spend more time here. I'm still looking to buy a property but I have been able to enjoy some of the more attractive hotels around here, some that aren't too far from the casino actually...

Jacques was then unfortunately cut off as a very cute waitress came over, who seemed eager to get the drinks flowing early, which Jacques really couldnt be mad at, it was Saturday night after all. He leaned on his right arm towards where the waitress was standing and glanced at her chest, just quick enough to make it seem like he was reading her name tag and nothing else.

Ahh Ryoki? You came just in time, me and Yutaro here were just breaking the ice as he dealt my first hand. How about you bring me over a white wine spritzer, and your handsome dealer a sparkling water on me, I know that he cant drink on duty but blackjack dealing must be thirsty work. Hopefully you'll keep us company, I plan to lose a lot of money on this table today!

Jacques was now in the company of an attractive man and woman in his favorite part of shine city on a weekend night. He started to wonder if he ever wanted to leave this place. <3

Mick finished up cauterizing the pipes as the drivers as made their introductions, they were a weird bunch indeed but Mick was in no position to be picky, and they all looked like they could handle themselves, people don't last long in this world if they cant. Mick walked over to his mantis helicopter and began the fire the engine up, it was spluttering and creaking but the semi-functional ignition finally started to fire up. Mick finally responded to the drivers as he started to open the garage door, and the powerful sun beamed into the dusty hangar.

Yo William, its pretty dirty in here so I'd get Dr Hanz to look at that cut before it gets infected, I dont want to have to quarantine you in the boot of your own car, fella.

Mick then turned to Andries, who was fiddling with the gatling gun on his rough, but ready looking car.

I have dossiers on everything, you don't live to 32 in this shitty county without doing your research on the world around you, and I sure as hell wasn't going to recruit a bunch of random outlaws for such an important and lucrative job, I wouldnt want to waste the ammo trying to protect myself from a daylight robbery...anyway time to move out.

The garage door was now fully open, Mick had stepped inside of his chopper which 'walked' out of the garage with its insect like legs and Mick turned to the convoy as they loaded what little gear they had and jumped into their cars.

Okay Convoy, I'm gonna be your eyes in the sky, switch your in-car radios on so we can all communicate but dont stuff up the channel with too much chatter, it drains my chopper battery.

The Mantis' blades began to whir as it slowly began to hover, first 5 feet then 20 feet then 40 feet off the floor. The radio crackled on as Mick's voice came through suprisingly clearly over the comms.

The road in front of us is surprisingly rocky, although that fat mayor was against it, we are going to be taking the unbeaten path to get out of this shit county, so the path will be very uneven. I'll need the Off-road vehicles to take the lead..Oshkosh, WingJack and The Banshee will be taking the lead of the pack for the first leg of the trip, the rest of you follow in tight formation...we cant afford to get lost in the dustbowl...move out!

The engines of the 7 drivers all roared to life as they peeled out from the garage and left nothing but dust in their wake, the mission had begun.
