I may be going to a big Yugioh regional with some friends this Saturday, which concerns me slightly because the game's meta is absolutely jacked up right now. But I just want to put it out there for everyone while I'm thinking about it so you know where I am, and why I probably won't post.

It's as you say, hollow shell. There's not anything left in someone like that. And if I recall, you've been tricked because of those thoughts before. Now more than ever though, you have to keep your resolve. As much as it sucks, I know, but this isn't something we can afford to drop the ball on.
