I'm sorry... its just.... I can't lose anyone else. My entire life fell to shambles when I lost my children. Mentally I still haven't recovered and may not ever, even if I get a thereapist. I prided myself on being this grand protector, but I couldnt even protect my own children. I have failed so many times. I cannot fail again. I put myself at risk because if Im the only one that gets hurt, then no one esle can. I take on the bad guys few others could simply because I feel obligated to. Like. With these abilities I have. I feel that I should bear the weight of the pain and suffering and harm so that no one else has to. But clearly I was wrong.

It is okay, Shinji. I have learned that there some things you can do alone and many othes you cannot. And do not worry about losing me. I technically cannot die. This is not my first body nor it will be my last.

You are being selfish and irrational. You would not have been able to survive if Data and Ruby had not come; so why choose to continue to endanger yourself by doing the things you do not want me to do? What about my feelings of you being hurt? Me losing you? This is not a lone wolf thing. We are in this together. Along with my very large and extensive family.

Well, for starters, I dont remember if I told you, but I'm leaving the EDB. Ive put in my resignation and the final stages of the primaries are- I mean, uh, were taking place. Until an attack on the primary election building took out 141 people, including 4 Council members. Shortly after that, we were all contained in the main quarters until the invesitgation aas resolved. We found out that the Co-Leader of the High Council Royce Callahan was the culprit, as he had used defunct demolition bombs to damage the supports. As Lead Council member Victoria Raine and I had found out, Royce wasnt really Royce. The real Royce was killed and Rorke, and old adversary of mine, had taken his place, and attempted a Coup d'état to steal the EDB right from under my feet. His plan failed, and he then proceeded to turn on the entire council in an attempt to kill them all. I, with some help, managed to get the main faculty and all of the council members other than a select few that were killed at the onset of the attack out. Rorke and I then fought for nearly20 minutes, and he nearly killed me. Luckily, Ruby and Data came in at the right time to help, and ruby healed me. During this process, Rorke escaped. He is now at large. If he is capable of killing me... I can't let him near you. He had access to footage of everyone we know, and is presumably planning to take them down systemically. After this, I need you and Genos to lay low for a while. Don't attract any unwanted attention.

We will move base as soon as possible then. I will take aid from a couple of my siblings. They will not mind at all. Genos will be somewhat annoyed to have to move, but he will understand. Business will be rough for us for a bit, we can manage...though...what about you?
