Unfortunately, yes. The metal I consume is automatically synthesized into magically enhanced metal. I can manipulate other metals, but not all metals are fit to be every machine. Think of the metal I generate as code-able. I can tell it what it can and cannot do. The metal that I manipulate is already coded, if we are following that analogy.

I use my abilities in more creative ways with other jobs rather than the obvious. I also don’t want to chance the company trying to exploit my abilities. Magically enhanced objects are dangerous with untrained hands.

Mhm! Though it has to be purely me mechanical. Like, I can technically make a gun or most of an engine, but not the whole thing as engines require other products and items to complete. Same goes for guns as there are simplistic ones and there are ones that require gasses or other things.
