"Thank you princess, it really is an interesting power. Just... Maybe don't show it off so much?" Tetsuya suggested, smiling slightly. He wasn't really anything special so why did he warrant seeing something so unique? If the wrong people caught wind of this or saw it then it could spell trouble for Eri, but then she must already know that. To Lady Ru he offered a smile, giving a nod of his head, "Thank you too, Lady Ru. I'll let someone know as soon as I find a place, don't worry. And thank you for the discount too, I appreciate it." Just as well he should get a discount, he hardly had a lot of money to throw around. There was a small stipend given to him by Lord Shima and then his own savings, which hardly amassed to any kind of fortune. It should be enough for a bit of traveling, though sooner or later Tetsuya figured he'd have to earn money somehow too.

Thankfully getting back to Ru proper wasn't too difficult, nor was finding an inn. Just to avoid getting into anything the Neko avoided places he'd visited earlier, opting instead for some new spots. No harm had been done really by his questioning but he'd rather be safe than sorry; having some drunk who was miffed over being asked a bunch of stuff break into his room didn't sound all too fun. The one he had finally settled on sat along one of the walls of the town, standing on its own in a fairly open space of land with all sorts of little plants decorating the otherwise barren lawn. It was a bit small and maybe the cheapest one he could find, but then Tetsuya didn't need luxury. He had spent the night before reaching Ru sleeping beneath a tree, so anything at this point would be preferable.

The old man running the inn was a bit stingy when it came to negotiating cost, even when Tetsuya told him about what Lady Ru had said. It wasn't until he managed to find a guard and have the man corroborate his story that he was given the discount, unable to help but smile a little smugly as he trotted past the innkeeper and to his room. His accommodations would be about as simple as you could get, with little but a bedroll, a dresser and a small table adorning the simple tatami-mat floored room. There was a set of doors leading to the courtyard outside, but he doubted he'd spend much time there. After some fiddling and getting his armor off, Tetsuya began wandering around the inn a bit, hoping to find a place to take a bath; walking around in that armor a lot could make you stink quite a bit, after all.
Takeshi couldn't say he was scared too, he had to try and be optimistic about this. Things sure didn't look all that great for Viral but it wasn't going to do him any good to be all uneasy and anxious. "Hey, this is supposed to be the guy who made him, nobody knows Viral better than he does. He's gonna get better Shu, Aito knows what he's doing. Just give it a little time, our friend is gonna be healthy and ready to go before you know it." He had to be, there was nothing else that they could do for their friend at this point. If the very person who created Viral wasn't able to change anything then he was good as done, and like Shu said the Dragonballs wouldn't work with him. Damn it, they were supposed to be all happy that Vegeta's folks were back, so why was everyone so on edge?

"Uuonoe! That's it, I couldn't remember what it was called," Takeshi admitted with a grin, chuckling as he rubbed at his neck, "It's a big world buddy, I'm sure we could find somewhere to go without being all crowded. But yeah, I liked that place too. It's kind of a nice world, even if its a bit weird." Purple grass if he remembered it right, and the Uuonians were a little odd looking too, nice but odd. Nodding in agreement with Shu, the older boy slipped off of the table and reached out, trying to pull Shu up to his feet. "Good point squirt, we should find more people! I mean hell, this thing is big enough to house an entire city, you know? And right now we've got like... A dozen or so people, that's not enough. I bet we could find loads of people who'd want to join us." For what though? If they were going to fight their father then they couldn't be dragging just anyone along, and if they were even just exploring there was the risk of putting people who couldn't fight in danger. Takeshi wanted to have fun with this, not have to babysit a bunch of people who might get in the way.

"I was named for my great-grandfather, he was from the original Planet Vegeta. I'm only like them in name really; blood-wise I'm only a half-Saiyan, and even then I hardly act like one. I'm more interested in intellectual pursuits than combat normally, and a lot of the time I see fighting as a waste of time." His polar opposite would be Takeshi in that regard, someone who tended to just punch things until something happened. It was a feasible if not brutish way to solve things, and certainly not something Vegeta could see himself bothering with. Why waste the energy trying to sort something out when an invention could do it for him? Glancing at the Frost Demon curiously he frowned a little, finding it curious he wasn't even wholly certain of his own name.

"I wouldn't say Kiton is a silly name, I've heard far worse actually. And really at the end of the day a name only means so much. I could call you anything I wanted, be it Kiton or some other name, but ultimately you're still you. So my advice? Don't put too much concern into what your name is, or what it might mean. But if you do have to worry then make it mean something worthwhile, that way you're not going to be thinking it'll reflect on you badly." Jeez, he really did sound like his father didn't he? It was basically rehashing what Aito had said earlier but Vegeta felt it might still help, if only a little. Smiling slightly to himself he let out a sigh, glancing back down the corridor towards the medical bay. "Viral's had a lot of ups and downs yet we still don't hate him. Takeshi has killed people out of anger but we don't hate him. Shu and T'charrl can both turn into things and both go rampant, but they're our friends too. My point being I suppose is everyone's got something that they don't like about themselves, or others may not like, but if you've got friends that'll accept you regardless why worry?"

The medical bay wouldn't do for their purposes, not yet. Before Viral could be even remotely ready for treatment he had to be calm around Aito, and in the environment itself; relaxing for the treatments was going to be crucial, and at current the Beastman was anything but relaxed. A change of scenery would suffice then, which unfortunately was going to be limited to only the rooms inside this ship. Of what little he knew of it Aito figured the library would be a safe bet, not seeing how a bunch of books and soft, cushy furniture could possibly upset Viral. A little odd that, the Saiyans having a library, he'd never really stuck his kin as the sort of intellectual types. Perhaps it was somewhat just a placeholder, a way to make the ship seem nicer, or maybe he wasn't giving the Saiyans enough credit. Maybe during their talks he'd take a glance at some books, just to see what reading material they had.

"I can't say I ever expected this of all of you, traveling around space like this," Aito mused, glancing back at Viral with a smile, "I'm sure you must have plenty of stories about your adventures, about the worlds you've seen and places you've met. I always meant to travel a bit before, so I suppose this works. I can't wait to see what other people might have to offer." The culture, the technology, the architecture, even the people themselves, Aito wanted to see all of it. His father and grandfather had both traveled extensively in their time and yet he'd never had the opportunity, but now he did. What awaited them out here amongst the stars, he wondered? "I must ask... How have you all spent the last few years? June and I didn't pry very much, we wanted to give you privacy to live your lives, but I'm very curious now. I suppose I'd like to know before all of this how was everything?"
If you feel its necessary to do then I'll gladly make a post :3 Won't be until tonight though, got class then work so going to be busy.
My bad, kind of figured we were just going. Can just move along, I'd only be writing Tetsuya going off to an inn, hardly anything special :p
"The guy is pretty sick Shu, just because they showed up doesn't mean he's automatically gonna feel better," Takeshi pointed out, letting out a burp before sighing and giving himself a stretch, "Viral's probably happy even if he can't show it yet, you know? I mean this Aito guy is the one who made him, yeah? There's no one better to help him out than him, so things are going to start getting better." They had to, there was no one else that could do this job. If Aito wasn't able to help the Beastman out then he was probably good as dead, that was all there was to it. In an absolute worst case scenario Viral could be brought back ala Vegeta's parents, but having to let their friend die was an awfully shitty way of going about this. There was a growing part of Takeshi that worried that would be the outcome though, and that no matter what might be tried now it was too late. He wanted to stay optimistic, but when even Vegeta was out of ideas it wasn't exactly encouraging. Aito would have to pull off a bonafide miracle to make him see things better.

Kabocha was being pretty damn annoying with his comments, which wasn't anything new. He was being pessimistic, sure, but it was bothersome to hear someone actually voicing that pessimism. "We'll stop somewhere soon, don't worry. We probably need more supplies anyways and after that fight I bet everyone's ready for some relaxing," Takeshi responded, sitting up and crossing his legs, "Maybe we can go back to that other planet, yeah? The one we first went to? What's it called again... Unova, Eoona, uh..." Well the name didn't much matter he supposed, unless he had to talk to someone from that world, then they might get a bit pissed. Giving his brother a smile he nodded his head, looking at everyone gathered at the table before scratching his nose. "Yeah, I guess we do got a lot of friends, huh? Maybe we will make more, I don't know, but I'm positive we'll be helping more people. Maybe Korian and those guys can handle the fighting, we'll just do what we can to help people out, that sounds fine to me."

Aito figured it was the best course of action, handling Viral himself. He had assured Yumi he'd do no such thing earlier, only speaking with the Beastman with her presence, but as of now she was busy catching up with June. This wasn't just something he wanted to do, it was something he needed to do. Even in their brief time together the Saiyan had managed to gather two crucial pieces of information from Viral; his sheer presence was enough to set off the Beastman, and the memory of what happened still tormented Viral. Either way one looked at it the problems stemmed from Aito, and therefore he felt he was solely responsible for what was happening. It was just convenient that he was the one who could help Viral, he'd be here trying to make things right either way. Sending his son off to handle Kiton for the time being, Aito stood before the Beastman for the first time in almost two decades, a small smile on his face as he looked over his creation. What a sorry state he was in, it was heartbreaking to see really. Such a proud, powerful creature last he'd seen him, now he could barely hold himself together. Well, all the more reason to get to work then.

Vegeta wasn't exactly fit for being a sort of support for someone, but if his father wanted him to do this then he'd try. He'd already failed with Viral, though the situation here wasn't nearly as dire, so maybe he'd fare better. Standing before the Frost Demon he looked at him curiously as he moved, taking his raised hand as a sign for some assistance. "How should I know, I don't associate myself with the Saiyans," he replied, shrugging simply before grabbing Kiton's hand and getting him to his feet. Convenient that he was so light, it made holding him up easier than trying to support someone like Viral. Getting an arm around Kiton's waist he began leading him out of the room, sending one last glance back at Viral before exiting. "I heard you two discussing food, do you want to go eat? I haven't eaten either so I wouldn't mind, but I'm not forcing you to go anywhere or do anything."

"Well then... I suppose even a simple hello might be too much," Aito joked lightly, smiling as he watched Viral turn away. Hearing Vegeta and Kiton leave behind him he folded his hands behind his back, walking away some as he looked around the room, "This is going to be how our sessions will go, I hope you know that. If I'm to help you then you'll need to get used to seeing me, which I know is easier said than done. You used to have no problem with it and we'll get back to that, I've no doubts there, it's just how long it may take that I'm uncertain of." It could be days or weeks until viral was comfortable with him again, and that would only be the first step in this recovery process; Aito couldn't work with someone who didn't speak to him or trust him, this had to be a mutual effort by both parties. Sure, he supposed he could force treatments on Viral, but that would only serve to build resentment and he didn't want that.

"I think we should try catching up a little first, sound okay to you? I know we've got work to do but we haven't spoken in so long, I'd like to have a short chat," Aito said, turning back to Viral, "I know how averted you are to being in this room, I read Vegeta's notes. So how about we try a change of scenery? I understand there's a nice library here on the ship, a nice open, lit room with comfortable furniture. I'm thinking we can go there to talk, how's that sound?" First things first, they needed an environment where Viral could feel at ease. His presence coupled with their surroundings now no doubt put the Beastman on edge quite a bit, they would have to relieve the tension somehow. Assuming that Viral could walk under his own power now, Aito walked over to the door and opened it back up, standing there with his hands folded at his back as he waited. "Do you know where it is? I'm not sure so I could use a little tour, if you wouldn't mind."
Ooh, alright then. I'll take care of that next post then :)
If we're skipping then I need to know where we're heading next
Takeshi stuck out his tongue childishly at Kabocha, giving a huff before he laid back down across the table, hands on his stomach. "Viral hasn't looked good in a long time buddy, that's nothing new," he pointed out, looking over at Shu, "Who knows where we're going? I don't think we have to be anywhere, so probably wherever we want I guess. Maybe we can even go check out some new worlds." Or maybe not, new worlds generally meant getting caught up in the middle of something. Plus with Viral's treatment starting now was hardly the time to be gallivanting about and exploring anyways, they needed to focus on getting the guy healthy first and foremost. So maybe a world they had been to already, but then which one? It had to be a place Viral could get some help at, and it needed to be a place where they could go and not have to end up fighting again. There was only one world that Takeshi could think of, though he really loathed to return to any place that the rebels were so heavily associated with.

"You'd think that Viral would be healthy by now, with how long he's been getting treated," Kabocha mused, shrugging his shoulders before frowning, "Seriously though, Vegeta couldn't help him? We had to bring back some guy from the dead to cure Viral? We've done some weird stuff guys but this is pretty much the weirdest, and do we even know if this person can really help?" Using Dragonballs was a pretty big deal so there was an awful lot riding on Aito being able to perform as expected. If he didn't manage to cure the Beastman then they were going to have to travel more, and by now Kabocha was getting sort of tired of that. In fact he was just getting tired of traveling around period, they did it too much. That aside when was the last time he got to fight? This whole experience was becoming pretty damn boring, they needed something to spice things up a bit.

"You don't have to be blood related in order for someone to be your parent," Vegeta pointed out, "There's adoption and foster care, but those count. They're the closest thing you've got to parents, and I'm the closest thing you've got to a brother. I'd figure that would make you happy, knowing you have a family." To him that always seemed to be like something Viral was missing, and he'd figured it was something his friend wanted. It was hard to imagine anyone was genuinely content with being along, even if they tried to say they were. "I don't remember either, that's something for you to ask dad, er... Aito. He'll be able to tell you whatever you want to know, you only need to ask." Vegeta didn't have the answers nor the time to explain whatever was on Viral's mind, there were things to be done still. His time with the Beastman might be coming to a close but there was now Kiton to tend to, as someone had to keep an eye on him; watching the Frost Demon was hardly going to be a full-time job, but until they felt more comfortable someone had to keep with him. Giving Viral's shoulder a pat and offering a smile he went over to join his father and Kiton, ready to get heading to the mess hall for some food.

Aito was satisfied with his work for the time being, even if he knew there was still going to be some natural healing involved. They had the means to make Kiton healthy immediately but he wasn't a huge fan of it, preferring to let things be a bit more natural in this case. "Well, my son is going to be helping you out for now, so I would imagine you can follow him to the mess hall," the Saiyan explained, smiling as Vegeta came over and joined them, "After that... I suppose you'll have to figure that out as you go. If Vegeta has something in mind just stick with him, or maybe he'll let you decide. There seems to be a lot on this ship so I'd suggest making good use of it, find something you like." The Frost Demon would have to contend with someone else for now, as Viral was waiting for attention that he so desperately needed. With Vegeta poised to take charge of Kiton for the time being, Aito took it as his time to go see to his other patient, smiling as he walked over to join the Beastman. "Hello, Viral."
If Tetsuya could just make it through one day without being petted or doted on, that would be just lovely. Honestly, he wasn't a child anymore, he shouldn't be treated like one. It was even more humiliating in that he was being treated like this by a princess, it was like she wasn't taking him seriously; the fact that being pet felt nice made it all the worse. Trying hard to come back from that he cleared his throat awkwardly, looking at Rii as she began to go into a long explanation. Was he hearing this right, she was asking him for help? That was a bit much, Tetsuya hardly considered himself worthy or capable even of protecting a princess. To ask a stranger to protect someone important too, was his help really going to be needed that badly? Furrowing his brow in confusion he looked over at Eri when she was prompted to put on a display, not wholly sure what he was going to see.

Magic was nothing new to the young Neko, he was very well acquainted with it; summoning, healing, elemental magic, he'd seen tons of it growing up in Neko communities, but never anything like this. Just what kind of magic was this? He had never experienced anything like this, and now that he was in a completely new setting he was completely out of mind. It was very brief, but seeing himself as a child in his mother's arms was really quite a bit stunning. When the world proper came back into view Tetsuya looked around utterly confused, blinking as he tried to make sense of what he had just seen. So that had been Eri's doing then? That had to be some extremely powerful magic and yet she was the same age of him, or very close at least, how was she so powerful then? With an ability like that he could definitely understand now what made her so special, and why people might come after her. Learning things that were never meant to see the light of day could bring some really nasty facts out to the public eye, and there would no doubt be some leaders who would rather keep personal information as just that, personal.

"Connected to every soul... That's ridiculous..." Tetsuya mumbled, shaking his head in disbelief. He had just experienced it first hand though, there was no denying what he had just seen. Looking back at Eri for a moment he smiled warily, lifting a hand to rub at his neck with a small chuckle. "Uh... Please don't go prodding into my life? I've got nothing to hide, but there's things I want to keep to myself, you understand? I can see why you're special though, and I'll gladly help if you ever need it. That is... If my Lord allows it." If Shima needed him that would always have to be priority, but then again if Eri was so important then maybe he'd have to make an exception. "I should probably start looking into finding a place to stay, if I'm going to wait for news. Thank you again Lady Ru, and princess. I'll be sure to keep that magic of yours a secret."
